I would highly recommend them if you are looking at purchasing a hot tub.

The initial cover was sewn horribly, it had creases all over the corners and in the middle of the cover, also, the styrofoam used was cut too small and the two sides of the cover were not equal. They refuse to give you the exact specs for the foam, the owner told me it was a trade mark secret?!?, even when I insisted and told him that's not possible since he is not the manufacturer of the foam. If you search for different manufactures for covers, you'll see the price differs when you choose the foam, and the fact the owner didn't want to disclose this information, except the never-ending praise "our covers are the best", makes one regret not reading the reviews before ordering. I should add the hot tub we own was bought from Sunray many years ago, all our supplies were bought from them, this is how they treat their loyal customers. My husband and I ordered the cover in October 2023, we also bought the solar blanket, which we wanted to return the next day because it wasn't one piece, it was two, sewn together, what kind of an expert sews something that goes onto the water? He told us that we can use RV silicone to glue the two pieces and it will be fine, but guess what, silicone didn't take to that plastic. Do you think the owner offered to reimburse us? No way, he just likes to talk a lot. In December, when the order should have been ready, I called the company and spoke with the salesperson and he told me it's going to be delayed for a couple of weeks because they have the fabric but they don't have the foam. I called again in January, they said they have the foam but they don't have the fabric. That's the way they lie, they don't even have the decency to keep up with their lies. Turns out, they just didn't bother to order the fabric, they only stopped blaming the supplier after I sent an email to that supplier in which I told them how the lies spread by Sunray might damage their reputation. By the end of January I went to the store with a friend of mine that was in the same situation, the order was made a few weeks before ours. We insisted the owner gave us the money back but he refused, he showed us the small print on the invoice "no backsies". In the end, my friend got the money back by contacting the bank, even after a few months you can dispute a visa claim. We got the horribly sewn cover by the end of March, it felt like we paid for a Mercedes that was advertised as a Ferrari and received a Pony. We took it back and expressed our disappointment once again. It took them a month to fix the cover, which is still not perfect, one corner has small creases and another corner has the seam off the edge of the foam. Also, the salesperson told me that if I want something perfect, I should do it myself, well, for $800 and do it yourself, that says a lot about "our covers are the best on the market", with sass on top. For this cover we've waited for 6 months, I've called them at least 10 times, I went to the store 10 times, the cost of the cover alone was over $800. There's a recent article about Sunray, you should give it a read, especially since the owner told me the bad reviews are paid for by his competition, well, I feel bad because nobody's paid me, it's almost like my experience and other people's experience was real, also, all those people suing and winning the lawsuits, how about that lesson in civil law Mr. Innocent Until Proven Guilty, not that condescending now, are we? Extremely Disappointed with Arctic Spas -- Do Not Recommend…read more I am beyond disappointed with my entire experience with Arctic Spas. I initially hired them to replace a pressure switch on my spa. On their recommendation, I agreed to a full inspection, thinking it would be a good idea to ensure everything was in proper working order. However, what followed was a series of events that turned what should have been a simple service call into an absolute nightmare. During the inspection, the technician removed the diverter, and despite his best efforts, he was unable to reattach it. As a result, my spa was left unusable. The spa had passed the inspection, and the technician confirmed that it still had several years of life left. But instead of taking responsibility for the damage caused during the inspection, Arctic Spas refused to acknowledge their error. They are now insisting that I cut up my deck at my own expense to allow them to fix the diverter. This is not only unfair but also an unreasonable demand. At this point, I suggested a much more reasonable solution: that they offer a discount on a new spa as a way to resolve the issue, considering that my spa had been destroyed during their service. However, Arctic Spas flatly refused and instead offered me a trade-in option--something I felt was not acceptable given the situation. The age of the spa has been repeatedly cited as an excuse for their actions, but the inspection had clearly shown that the spa still had plenty of years of life left. This makes it even more frustrating that they are using the spa's age as a way to dodge their accountability for the technician's mistake. Throughout this entire process, communication has been appalling. Responses have been slow, evasive, and rarely helpful. Every time I reached out, I had to follow up multiple times before receiving a reply, and even then, the responses were minimal and unprofessional. It became increasingly clear that Arctic Spas was more interested in minimizing their liability than in actually resolving the issue or offering a satisfactory solution. The situation escalated when I received an email from their corporate director after months of unanswered emails and follow-ups. The email was one of the most curt and unprofessional responses I've ever received. The tone was dismissive, cold, and lacked any sense of ownership or responsibility for what had happened. It was clear that they were not interested in doing right by me, the customer, despite the fact that their technician had caused significant damage to my property. I had hoped for at least some acknowledgment of their mistake and a genuine apology, but instead, I was met with an indifferent, corporate response that did nothing to resolve the situation. I even offered a simple solution: have them remove the damaged spa and honor the trade-in value as if they hadn't destroyed it. This would have been a fair and reasonable resolution, and honestly, even if they had agreed to remove the spa at no cost, I would have been satisfied. This situation was never about money--it was about accountability, decency, and professionalism. The sales staff, to their credit, were polite and tried to help, but their hands were tied. When I finally heard from the corporate director, it was clear that the company was not willing to take ownership of the damage caused by their technician. I'd love to share the email I received, but Arctic Spas, in typical corporate fashion, included a legal disclaimer at the bottom of the email prohibiting it from being shared publicly--because, of course, that's exactly what a trustworthy company does. At this point, I've come to the realization that Arctic Spas is not a company you can rely on. If something goes wrong--and trust me, it can--don't expect accountability, resolution, or even a basic level of respect. They have completely failed in their duty to provide professional service and have shown no interest in making things right. After all the time spent dealing with the back-and-forth and being ignored by the company, I'm done. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and will make sure everyone I know hears about this experience. There are plenty of other companies out there that actually care about their customers and their work, and I strongly encourage anyone considering Arctic Spas to look elsewhere. Save yourself the hassle, the disappointment, and the frustration. You deserve better than what Arctic Spas has shown me.

We received delivery of our Arctic Spa (Arctic Fox) in January, after pulling the trigger on the…read moreorder at the end of the summer. We knew we would have to wait that long, and the deposit is a flat $1000 -- you can pull it all back any time right up to delivery if you need to. The purchase experience was very good. We were given a tour of the various spas that I thought at the time was kind of overdone -- I was cajoled into climbing in and out of several tubs -- but in the end was important, because when you're looking back and comparing spas for purchase, it's helpful to be able to remember which ones were deep, which ones had headrests, and honestly how you fit into the tub. We went to three other retailers and did not receive this thorough treatment at any of them. So right from the start my expectations were high. Also, once you learn about why Arctic Spas are built the way they are -- so your spa can survive a cold-weather disaster with relative ease -- it's kind of a no-brainer. Be warned, though, they are not cheap -- but none of the "elite" types of spas are really cheaper. The installation experience was pricey. We needed an electrical upgrade that cost around $1500, which added to the already pretty steep price of the spa (around $16K with the Spa Boy feature -- see more about that later). And the installers originally failed to close a connection, leaving me with a box of cold water in January as I waited for the electrician to come and troubleshoot (which was also at my cost, though basically they found just an installation error). You'd think I'd be annoyed at this, and maybe if I'd done the review at the time, I would be. But two mitigating factors saved the day -- one was the commitment of the sales team who promptly brought over a little electric heater to put in the surround that kept the water from freezing while we waited, and the second is my absolute satisfaction with this spa as a whole -- which I promise I will get to! So, spa was finally wired and we started using it as soon as it was up to 102F. We chose to buy a little floating bluetooth speaker instead of any wired-in sound features, so the Spa Boy was our costliest option. It pricked up my ears to hear that Spa Boy had been created in response to customer feedback (the feedback being that people hate the water maintenance that comes with a spa). All I can tell you is that we started the thing, had literally one adjustment, and it's been showing green across the board since then. We don't wear anything in our spa, and typically shower before using, so I'm sure that helps, but the water is crystal clear with zero effort after six months of at least weekly use. Finally, features I love about this spa. Seats are deep, and there are many jets for each seat, all fully adjustable with minimal effort. The display for temp and jets is user friendly and also features a reading for water quality. The headrests are well designed, and a lot of thought has gone into the various ways that people want to use a spa at every seat (i.e. you can be up to your neck, partially out, or slide over to the cooling seat with lots of places for your arms and legs to go at every space). I left a glass of wine in one of the beverage holder spots and tried to close the lid, and the action of the lid was gentle enough to keep the glass from getting broken. By the same token, if you leave your headrests up and put the lid down, they will just slide back into their slots and not break. (Great for the absent minded!) When I am in the spa, it's like I leave the real world behind. We listen to a playlist and just soak, chat, and watch the lights change colour. There is plenty of therapeutic potential in using the jets because there is a jet for pretty much everything, but sometimes I prefer to just lounge in the hot water. This is what I wanted from a spa -- another place to relax outdoors, without a lot of stress attached to getting there. It has turned out to meet all of my expectations and I am really happy with the purchase.

After a referral from a friend, I contacted AB Countertops to purchase a bathroom vanity countertop and a small piece for the top of a shower curb. (and mount a sink I provided under the counter). I was asked for the measurements (which I thought strange as there can be all kinds of things custom to each install - i.,e. wall corners not 90 degrees, etc.) While the timelines discussed seemed a bit slow, I realize that ours was just one countertop as opposed to a whole house job. After a call from the salesperson that the countertop was ready, I went to the shop facility to pick up. (no info as to who to see on site) after finally finding someone, they said it will be a few minutes. Then, I could see a worker gluing the sink to the counter (so it was hardly ready to pick up). When this was done, I took the unit home. The sink was poorly attached to the counter - I had to silicone some gaps and was worried that it may fall off when installed on the vanity. Visually, it is acceptable. The shower curb top: I made the measurements my self, and messed up and measured 2" to narrow. Fine, my fault. I tried to contact the salesperson I dealt with 12+ times via email, text and received only one response - that they were busy due to illness; nothing after that. If you don't want to or can't do the work, just tell me, but to not even reply is rude! I finally got a small piece from another granite company, and would recommend them. Stay away from AB Countertops is my advice.

I have just had a horrible experience with Cascade countertops. I attended the store, picked out my…read morequartz and paid my deposit. My full kitchen plan was provided to Cascade along with the details that I was in a second floor condo. All went well until not long before the install is scheduled to occur they send me a final plan to sign that shows my island quartz being cut in half. They assumed there was a freight elevator in a 4 storey residential condo and never bothered to ask. There is not!! So they just decide the right thing to do is cut it in half. They refuse to bring it up the stairs and tell me it weighs 900 lbs which is an exaggeration because they don't want to bring it up the stairs. I offer to pay for a crane or something to lift it to my balcony and they tell me they cannot help me with arranging this. They make no efforts and offer no suggestions as to where I might be able to seek help with this as I am trying to problem solve. When I arrange this on my own they communicate with the contractor that I have hired, paid and arranged for on my own and give him so much cause for concern he understandably backs out. I decide to change my order to an even lighter weight so that they can bring it up the stairs or maybe hire a professional moving company to assist. Two days before install is scheduled and all the trades are lined up behind them they back out. This company should have attended the site from the beginning or asked key important questions about the location and access to my condo from the beginning. If they couldn't accommodate the job they should have let me know this so that I could hire another company. The manager promised to call me back and instead he made one of his office staff deliver this news to me.
