Lots of parking but it's a bit tricky to turn left out of the parking lot (crossing traffic). Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. One of the hot tub chemicals I was looking for wasn't in so an alternate was suggested but they also let me know that chemical should be in by the end of the week. We just recently purchased a hot tub from Beachcomber. Melissa was our sales rep and treated us in a professional manner all the way through the process. Worst service we ever received from any company. The hot tub had a leek, they made us buy useless parts, sent in a few technicians who each charged for ''consultation' none was able to fix the hot tub ( purchased from Beachcomber).. Then they recommended a 'specialist' who after charging us $1100 made the initial problem worse and vanished...didn't return any of our calls. Beachcomber did absolutely nothing to help us fix the problem or recuperate our money. Will never purchase anything from this company and will share this extremely bad experience with everyone I know. Beachcomber is only friendly and helpful until they make the sale, their maintenance/ service after that is just a continuous money grab and their 'technicians' useless. read more

We have been with the Beachcomber family for 20 plus years so when it was time to upgrade this was a no brainer. Jeri was our sales lady and she was absolutely incredible and just amazing!!! Jeri was on the phone,text & emailing us all the time to keep us in the loop!! Coronavirus was a challenge) But we truly enjoyed Jeri she made us Always....... feel like we were #1!!! bought a tub off mike rilley a saleman from beachcomber and have had nothing but let down dealing with him and his company. started off with the delivery of my new hot tub missing a ton of parts and trying to hide it from me. i refused the tub and they brought me a different model and with out the lounger i wanted. Now less than 4 months old pump is gone and a light was never hooked up to tub since new. i had to wait 2 weeks to get booked in for them to show up and tell me it was the pump and they need to order in. They sent out a serviceman who was at my house for 3 hours trying every pump in his truck to make it work. just really disappointed after they have your money their service goes down big time. $13000 and can't even get a phone call back like promised two times that someone from service would reach out to me. read more

Absolutely horrific. we bought a hot tub here. The very first time we fired it up, it had white floating "stuff"..and a lot of it. We changed our water. Put in all chemicals suggested by beachcomber. They insisted for a year and a half that it was somehow our fault..that we had bad water ( they repeatedly tested it, but could never tell us what the white stuff was), that we weren't changing it enough, using enough chemicals, etc. This despite the fact we had a hot tub for 10 years..and old beat up one..that we never had a problem with. Then they said they were going to prove it was the water, and change it for a month for us..they showed up one. They tried caulking the jets inside the tub..no luck. Came back and checked inside the engine and such ( disconnecting a wire and blowing a fuse at the same time). After 2 years of fighting, they finally agreed to replace it ( IF we took all negative reviews off the BBB and webpage)..but they wanted us to pay 500 for a crane ( crane companies tell us the charge is about 200), for a problem that had nothing to do with us. After fighting about THAT for 6 months, they finally moved in a new hot tub. No white floating things since. These people are salemen...and good salesmen..but their lack of knowledge, or perhaps caring, once the tub is sold is dangerously inadequate or completely lacking. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and a total ripoff with any service work they did. Came out to check why display wasn't working thinking it was warranty. They went ahead and repaired it without any discussion and left us with a hefty bill for 10 minutes work. I called the manager with the issue and they were never in or in a meeting. Never returned any of my calls. Had to call their head office in B.C. to complain and then the Edmonton office called me. Would NEVER recommend them to anyone. read more

I completely agree with the other 1 star review(should do no stars). I have not been happy with Beachcomber either. I first had all the little diverters come out of all the jets after only a few months, the tub has jets that point directly at intake valves that screws jets up since it blows air in the suction. AND the service is horrible from staff who don't care once you have spent a lot with them as stated in a long winded explanation below. Tub purchased in 2012.Our motor was making a whining noise and when I called to as for an estimate I was told it was probably the bearings. I was told it would be $125 for the call and probably around $20 for the parts to replace the bearings, so I agreed, ended up costing me as much as a new motor to rebuild it! The tech came and was very nice. He said it was the bearings but all of a sudden told me he probably couldn't fix it on site. He said he could try but wasn't sure, I said that was fine. Within 30 minutes of that he had the motor out, changed the bearings and it was back in and running. When i asked him what the cost would be he said a total of $375!!!! In my head I thought What!!!!, but decided it wasn't worth arguing with the tech as I assumed the quoted price would be what I would see since the job was exactly as I had been told and took less than 45 minutes. When the cost went through on my Visa it was $393!!! a new motor would have only been slightly more from that dealer and I could have easily installed it myself. I even had one in my shed from a previous hot tub that would have worked in the inter. I figured at the original $150 it was fine to have the newer motor back up and running. When I called to complain all I got was "that is what it costs to rebuild a motor" I had no idea it was a rebuild especially when it only took 30 minutes. The service manager was not even willing to discuss. When I then emailed the general manager and an executive from Beachcomber I the got a call from the manager. The manager first wanted to know how I even got the email for the executive and that I probably wouldn't even hear from him (I haven't) but nice support of your parent company. All the manager would say was how great the company(over and over) was and that for what was done that was the cost. I tried to explain that was fine but that wasn't what I was told would be done until it was done. He really didn't seem to understand my problem and even told me he never suggests rebuilds? So your techs are doing them anyway?????? When I then explained how they could justify almost $400 for 30 minutes work all he could say was that I got a good tech who did a "favor" for me doing it on site and that other techs would take much longer. What? So I should have been happier I didn't get an incompetent tech? He asked me what I wanted out of this, I offered to split the bill (which was still more than I was told) He said he couldn't see that happening. Great customer service after spending $12,000! So let me understand this, them still getting $200 out of me for something that probably cost them less than $100 and they could have even given me store credit that may have meant I would spend even more wasn't acceptable???? Do not buy from these people!!! Service will vanish after they take your money. In a city where all the hot tub dealers are pretty much 3 blocks from each other you would think they would work a little harder to keep a customer for referrals. read more

More expensive than similar quality hot tubs by other manufacturers. The authorized dealer who sold me the unit, discontinued selling and repairing the brand before my warranty was up. There were no other authorized Beachcomber dealers near me. Emails to Beachcomber HQ went unanswered. I had to go to an outside repair service to replace one of the motors. Then, 2 years later a leak developed. That's where the solid insulation is a design flaw. When a fitting leak develops under the tub, in order to access and repair the fitting, you need to remove the insulation. In order to remove the insulation, you need to flip the hot tub onto its side, then "dig out" the insulation !!!! The hot tub has been sitting in my deck for the past 6 years. I finally decided to cut it up, and replace it... NOT with a Beachcomber. read more

No Stars - that should be an option but, as it it not, one star is as low as I can go. It is one star too many. Really, there are no words to illustrate the disgraceful service we received from Beachcomber. But I shall try ... We bought a product on sale - the sale price, to be clear, was not cheap. When we received the product it was stained in multiple places and dirty in others. Had the product been in this condition at the time of purchase, it would not have been purchased as even sale merchandise should be in good condition - this was not marked "As Is". "As Is" has a very different connotation from "Sale". We immediately returned the product and requested a replacement. They would not hear of it - the remedy to the dirt and stained fabric Beachcomber presented us with was to attempt to get out the dirt and the stains. We went along with this with reluctance but we did give them the chance to fix things. The attempt failed - the product was returned cleaner in some spots and dirtier in others. It also reeked of some sort of cleaning product which made using the item impossible. A second (and last) remedy was an offer to have the product professionally dry-cleaned - provided we ourselves brought the product to them; they would not collect it. As you can see - as minimal an effort as possible on the part of this business to please the customer. Replacing the product or returning our money to us were not options as far as Beachcomber was concerned. Having read several reviews before writing this one it appears that we have joined the growing list of dissatisfied Beachcomber customers who have simply thrown up their hands in defeat when it comes to getting good service. This is a business that puts itself ahead of the satisfaction of its customers. We will now send this product to a professional upholstery cleaner who will remove the soil and the stains and we will pay to have that done. We would submit the bill to Beachcomber but we know that that would be nothing but an exercise in futility. We have no interest in any further dealings with this business and intend to inform everyone we know and even those we don't know - like yourselves - to shop elsewhere. There are several businesses in this city that carry similar products and treat their customers well. We regret that we elected to deal with Beachcomber. If you for some reason do decide to deal with this business make sure you take photos of your merchandise the day you buy it. At least if you receive a stained and dirty product you will have a leg to stand on when you try to have the product replaced or your money refunded. I regret that I did not do that but you can bet that from now on, I will take a picture of every major product that I buy if there will be a delay between purchase and delivery!! A hard lesson learned. Instead of bending over backwards to make sure their customer was satisfied they did the opposite. There were no apologies for something that was clearly their fault - allowing staff to eat lunches etc. on the showroom products. Instead, they lied and said that the merchandise we received was exactly as we had seen it on the day it was purchased. You would think that they would at least have attempted to clean the product before delivering it to the customer but they did not do that; we received dirty, stained merchandise. I strongly doubt that Beachcomber haas any interest in reading or learning from customer reviews but I am hoping that by taking the time to write this that future patio furniture customers will read it, learn from it and look elsewhere for their patio furniture! Will never buy a beachcomber ever again! We've had our tub just over 5 months and it has been nothing short of a nightmare since the beginning! The day of hook up the lift bar was cut wrong and the side panel was dented with a drill. Installer told us he would come back to fix it, 2 months later we had to go into the store and ask when it was going to be fixed and it was never reported but we were promised it would be taken care of. 3 weeks ago the spa pack was tripped a tech came out and said it was just a fluke. 4 days later tub tripped again, tech said it was our spa pack so we bought one directly from beachcomber came home and had an electrician install it the next morning it tripped again. Came out the next morning tub tripped again. Tech said its common to have it happen after installing a new spa pack. Today we had an appointment to have the damaged panel replaced appointment was at 3 , we received a call at 445 stating that they were behind and will book another appointment to come out. Just went out to use my tub and its tripped again! NEVER AGAIN will I buy a beachcomber read more

My husband and I purchased a Napoleon BBQ from this location 2.5 years ago. It recently malfunctioned and became unusable. We sent photos and a description of what happened and they agreed to give us a 100% refund or full credit towards a new barbeque.
