We went on a 5-day river rafting trip in Cataract Canyon this summer with World Wide River Expeditions and had a BLAST!!! This trip was seriously one of the best experiences I have ever had! We spent the first two days just relaxing on the river. It was all smooth water so we did a lot of swimming, chatting, reading, and goofing around. The guide was full of stories, history, geology, and even a little guitar playing! We stopped a couple of times for a hike and to see some indian petroglyps. THE FOOD WAS AWESOMELY YUMMY!!!! On the third day, we hit the whitewater. HOLY FREAK! It was intense! The river was at "High Water" so the rapids were humongous! It was crazy non-stop fun! I have no idea how our guide manged to keep the raft upright and pointed straight while we flew through the air off the top of the monster waves! After the big whitewater sections we hit lake powell and they tied all of the rafts in our group together to the "RIG", a great big long raft with a motor, and we cruised through the lake powell canyon to the take out ramp. An airplane flight back to Moab is included in the trip and we got to fly back over the river that we had just rafted. It was really neat to see it from the air. The perfect ending to a perfect trip! I would do it all again in a heartbeat! World Wide is located off of the main street in Moab and their prices were a lot lower than the other river running operations we looked at. The people at the base were super friendly and helpful. Even the owner Nicki was there and totally involved in making sure everything went super smooth. Our guide has been running this stretch of river for more than 25 years and the company has been around since 1970 so we felt totally safe in their hands. Everyone we met was super knowledgeable and helpful. A++++

Richard is so knowledgeable as he's been a guide of all kinds in Moab for over 30 years. He was fun and always made sure we were well informed and stopped for scenic views and photographs. As many have mentioned this is a cowboy style dinner that you eat in a banquet hall before the ride. The food was all you can eat eat, and the staff were more than accommodating. However, the food was just average to poor. The meat was dry, and the BBQ sauce was just ridiculously sweet. Basic salad, corn, very dry rolls, canned beans and a dessert that was about two bites of a cobbler with a squirt of whipping cream. We barely touched it. The boat ride was great. We loved being on the water really enjoyed hearing the story about the history of Moab. The lights did bring a unique perspective to the rocks which against the night sky. We were lucky that the sky was completely dark and great night for stars. I would've liked to have learned more about the constellations since this is such a great place to stargaze. Overall I'm glad we did it. It was a fun activity, But for the price and the taste of the food I'm not so sure if it was worth the price. I like how it is a family run business . I would suggest improving your menu such as updating the food. It sounds like the menu has been the same for a while and it's kind of tired. it may help to update your recorded presentation to something a little bit more current , and maybe add some constellation information. I think you have a good thing going, but it could really use a fresh update.

You can either meet at their location, where you can get some merch, sunscreen, use the facilities and ask any questions you have, or you can pay a small fee to get picked up from your location. From their place to the river, we did one of their raft tours, with 2 other couples we met there, and Josh, our guide. From beginning to end, Josh had a lot of information and history to share with us, and he made everything interesting and fun. He enjoyed answering questions, sharing his knowledge with us, and taking all the pictures we wanted. We even stopped for a quick hike on our tour (and those that didn't want to join were welcomed to stay on the raft). This was an amazing way to see a lot in a "short time" and learn.

I was searching on line and found Navtec. The river ride on the Colorado sounded like a great way to see the park. And it sure was, we nailed it. We arrived at their location downtown Moab a little while after checking into a hotel downtown. They offered to pick us up but it was a nice 10 minute walk to get to their office. It's a nice spot with plenty of last minute necessary's like sunscreen. Within minutes of rallying our group of 6 we were off to the launch point for the tour with our motorized blowup boat. We had a stop along the way at the great wall to see hieroglyphics. The boat ride was great, with information on spots and stories as well. Our guide Josh was excellent. Happy to say we had a great time.

Here's a humorous, glowing review you can post:…read more Canyonlands Jeep Rental - Outstanding experience! We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Canyonlands Jeep Rental. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared that we had a great (and safe!) adventure. Special shout-out to Sabrina, who was an absolute rockstar--helpful, patient, and kind from start to finish. The Jeep was in excellent condition and performed beautifully... right up until Elephant Hill reminded us who's boss. After that trail, the renter's wife and daughter were officially scared to death, declared Jeeping "a hard no," and refused to do anything remotely off-road ever again. Canyonlands Jeep Rental couldn't have handled it better. They were incredibly understanding and graciously let us return the Jeep early with zero hassle, which we truly appreciated given the circumstances (and the lingering white knuckles). If you want a company that's honest, flexible, and staffed by people who actually care--this is the place. Huge thanks again to Sabrina and the whole team for turning what could've been a stressful situation into a genuinely positive experience. We'd rent from them again in a heartbeat (assuming everyone survives Elephant Hill next time). Highly recommend!
