It's a decent location. They have golfing nearby if that's your thing, the pool and general entertainment is good as well. The rooms are decent, and it certainly meets the expectation bar of a Wyndham establishment.

I went to this resort with a church group. It's a really cool resort with multiple amenities like tennis, Pickleball, basketball, swimming pools, arcade with billiards, golf, and probably more that I don't know about. The coolest thing was the deers I saw from the balcony. My only gripe is the high pressured sales pitch because it is a timeshare. I don't have that kind of money or the time to really make a timeshare of value to me, but other than that, I would go back.

Beautiful time to come up here, at the beginning of fall in October. We went wine tasting, to local parks and restaurants too. This resort in centrally located in the foothills. As part of WorldMark timeshare, you can attend a 1 hour sales pitch and get a free gift, if you wish (gift card or winery tour etc.) We loved walking around and exploring by car. Close enough to Calaveras Big Trees - state park. The accommodations were roomy, and nice appointed kitchen . Patio looked out to the golf course and the deer walked past every morning and afternoon. The tractor lawn mowing machines go chugging by at 7am or earlier. Flocks of geese are discouraged by loud booms when the golfers start playing. Haha, I guess they have to get them out of the way somehow. Friendly staff, lots to do, loved the pools and hot tubs. Pretty area, warm, lots of rolling hills, grassy foothills. Not crowded, a country relaxed feel. Check out the many fun activities nearby!,

Came here with a friend who enjoys State and National parks. In a past life, he was a Worldmark member / owner. So he chose this location because he is familiar with the brand. We were in Building O, unit 269. Upstairs: king bed, full bathroom and tv Downstairs bedroom with two twin beds and a tv. Full bathroom, full kitchen, fireplace, balcony (complete with table, chairs and a gas grill). Balcony overlooks the golf course. It also had a pull-down queen bed wall unit. Washer and dryer The property: Rec / arcade room, separate gym, a common lounge area with coin massage chairs, pool tables, vending machines and a coffee bar serving pastries and Starbucks coffee. (Latte, Perrier, butter croissant and small apple juice $14). Full size basketball court. Full size tennis court. Upon check in, Concierge Don offered some great wine and a sales pitch to attend an "informational" meeting during the stay. This is, after all, a timeshare property. In return, my friend gets a $100 gift card for attending. Be prepared for them to not wanna take "no" for an answer. He also asked my friend for a credit or debit card. His explanation as to why was not clear. Something to do with issuing his gift card. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Key bracelet- donation to local animal shelter

We were in building H behind the swimming pool. Checking in was smooth. We made a donation to the local animal shelter for a key bracelet. Great souvenir while helping local charities! We were offered wine for a quick introduction to the resort and getting waterproof key bracelets. The two bedroom unit was clean. We liked that each unit has its own bbq but it was not cleaned. The guest toilet moved every time you used it. Definitely needed maintenance to level the toilet. Connecting and disconnecting to their internet was frustrating. Tech support was no help. We had our very own jumping frog on our last day to bid us farewell

Great place for a family getaway. They have a great pool, entertainment center, arcade games, basketball court, tennis court, and more. They also have a movie night for kids outside to enjoy. They also will give popcorn at the front desk, but go early since they will run out unfortunately. The rooms are clean nicely equipped with a kitchen, living room, and other amenities. The town is nice to get some lunch or dinner. I would recommend checking out Murphy town, Calaveras big tree, and Yosemite if you have time. My kids really enjoyed this place.

I stayed her for seven days a little get out of town..The rooms were giant as most World Mark stays. It was two stories full kitchen dining area and living room..The down stairs had a TV in living room and one in the bedroom as well with a queen bed.The upstairs had a huge room with another bathroom and a King bed.The view from our deck out of the living room had chairs and a table and a gas BBQ. It over looked a green belt which we saw deer every day. The place also had two huge pools and spa. The main building where you check in had a pingpong table a rlfree arcade game a huge connect 4 game and UNO cards the size of a small car ..well maybe not that big but they were definitely big and hard to shuffle..This place was great and even had movies every night that played outside for free..This place was great

A few of the locals showed up while grilling on our rooms patio. Very nice stay.

This is one very nice WorldMark property. Nice rooms in a great location. Quite for the most part and lots of wildlife visits in late afternoon. The BBQ grill used nightly is a welcoming treat at most of these properties, no exception here. The local Sav-Mart had great choices for cooking and is very handy too, nice clean market. We'd definitely return here for future outings. A good vibes sort of place.

Now breakfast is not what I would have expected and yes disappointing. There was a waffle station and your customary cold cereals, muffins, yogurt, etc. Heat and eat breakfast sandwiches and burritos in place of standard eggs, sausage, B&G. There is also a huge parking area in the back to accommodate RV's and large trailers. I have several photos but they're already on the yelp pics by others. Check out the shower pic! A very comfortable and quiet little cottage. Although, the bathroom was huge with a walk-in shower. There are no tvs in the cottages and the WiFi is a little dodgy. Cell phone reception isn't the best either. I think what I am getting at is that you can really disconnect when you say at La Honda Park. You are forced to communicate with your loved ones. The cottages are only equipped with a microwave. If you want to cook something more robust, there is a communal kitchen in the pool house. Believe me, it has everything you need. Also, there are bbqs in just about every common area. Aside from the beautiful grounds and comfortable accommodations, there is the barn. The barn is probably the best part about this place. It has a foosball table, a pool table, poker table, dart board, and a tv. The back doors slide open to a small seating area overlooking Angel Creek. I can't describe it. You just need to experience. The owner are Jenn and Barr. They were so nice. Once we checked in, they left us alone. In fact, they left the property. Besides my family, there was another family staying in the Main House. They were very nice and welcoming. I can't wait to go back and sit next to the creek and drink my morning coffee.

A gaggle of girlfriends rented three cottages here, as three of us were celebrating our 40th/41st birthdays. The perfect "home base" for staging an attack upon Murphys downtown shopping, dining and wine tasting establishments, or as a leap-off point for local hikes and the gorgeous Moaning and Mercer Caverns. Each cottage is appointed with a gas-fueled faux wood-stove fireplace (easy operation via thermostat), fridge, micro, coffee maker, basic silverware/plates/cups, wonderful showers (great for power-washing off the mud and sweat after a day of rappelling and spelunking!) and extremely comfortable queen beds. Each cottage has its own character, giving the feel of the kind of decor a favorite aunt might select for your family's personal mountain cabin. Extremely clean and comfortable! Hang out by the fire, or chill out on your own front porch overlooking the lawn and creek. Or... ...head over to The Barn, a communal recreation room appointed with an air-hockey table, pool table, kitchen area (including a wine fridge!) and big-screen satellite TV/sat radio. The Barn was recently remodeled, using reclaimed barnwood, corrugated metal (for the ceiling sub-roof) and a pretty brilliant wallcovering that looks like warm old plaster, but is actually recycled craft paper and some sort of natural varnish. Cool! Also, a few relics from the region's mining days. There are board games, darts, books and other stuff to keep the individual, family or small group entertained. There's a large swimming pool (unheated in winter) and a small wading pool adjacent to another community kitchen and outdoor picnic area, and the only thing this area lacks is a hot tub. (Hint, hint!) Finally, there's Cosmo, the biggest, sweetest cat you'll ever want to kidnap. He's not allowed in the cabins, but he'll happily keep you company as you read a book on the porch, or wander up to the beautiful waterfalls behind the barn. He'll also keep score if you want to use the bocce court or horseshoe pits! Parking is limited, so don't expect to haul in ATV trailers or your RVs, but that's about the only con to this wonderful little family-run resort!

They are currently going through another ownership change, but from what the pro shop guys have said, it's all good things coming. The greens have some crabgrass issues, but other than that they are rolling pretty good. The greenside bunkers have gotten much better over the past few months, but the fairway ones still need some work. Since the new ownership change, the tee time pricing is now dynamic. We called to make a reservation instead of booking online, and that was a mistake. Definitely check online for the best price as most of the prices were cheaper than what we ended up paying. Twilight starts at 1pm, and honestly $75 with a cart is a solid deal. 2/3 rounds I played this past weekend were under 4 hours. 4th of July the course was empty and made for a very enjoyable round. The one area the course as a whole can improve on is the food at the clubhouse. Not sure if there's been change, but the food has been real bland the last few times. It's pricey as well, which makes us want to pack a lunch instead of buying it on the course. Lynette the bartender is the best though! Overall, excited to see how the new ownership improves the course over the next few months and beyond and can't wait to be back up to play again.
