Balcony view from unit D-01, second floor, south end unit; 2-bedroom. Balcony is not private, however. A good view nonetheless.

Generally good service. Location is best. Building needs upgrades, but not at the cost of increasing my maintenance fees, pls. Other guests above were much too noisy. Parking is their biggest issue/problem, however, so guests park everywhere/all over the place, including red zones, so it's a fire hazard and they've been reported to local authorities. My next call is to Worldmark Corporate HQ. Convenient location. Nice sunsets. No sunrises, though; not from our second floor unit (D 01). Was told this 2 bedroom unit was best view in the complex. I hope not for their sake. It's good, but much of the view is blocked. A good view regardless.

First time at WorldMark Lake Tahoe Originally, we were waitlisted and this location opened up. We drove up to the South Shore location to check in, we have stayed there before but they couldn't find our reservation. Hmm... and usually I would print the confirmation to bring with me. They never usually ask for it. Anyway, after resolving the confusion we were directed to this location which was almost 5 miles and more remote at a higher elevation (7,344 feet above sea level). Didn't know WorldMark had two locations in Lake Tahoe. The check-in desk is located in Tahoe 3 at Bldg D. After we checked in with the friendly desk clerk all was good. RC was very helpful. We were assigned to our one bedroom unit on the 3rd floor (just across the registration office) on Bldg C. Our building had an observation deck and we enjoyed daytime views of Lake Tahoe with nice photo ops. The unit was smaller than other WorldMark resorts. When the sleeper sofa in the living room was in use there is little to no room at all in the living area. Our unit had a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, washer/dryer, a balcony and a small deck outside our bedroom. No BBQ grill though. The fireplace would turn on automatically to adjust to the temperature. We weren't able to use any of the resort amenities during this stay so can't comment on them. There are no elevators at this resort and stairs are required to access all units. During winter months those steps get slippery from snow so exercise caution. No bear encounters but we were told that they do show up looking for food from the parked cars. Overall, pleasant first time stay in this Lake Tahoe location. Review #1546

Upon entering the two bedroom, I was a little disappointed. The place was not as spacious as other WorldMarks that I have been to. This room had a 1.5 bathroom and a small balcony that opened from the master. The half bath was a tight squeeze. The floorplan for this space was very cramped and the layout was not as effective as it could have been. The decor felt dated and cheap. It sits about three miles away from the main road and it's a bit windy. Overall, I would come back here with my girlfriends or with a significant other, but I wouldn't bring my young kids as the space was too small.

My first time here. The room was great. There's never any parking spots. They go quick. Might have to park down the hill a bit and walk up. Our place had a nice fireplace in the living room. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We went to the timeshare meeting or presentation by the Safeway down the road, they were not pushy at all. Gave us a lot of helpful information. We are definitely coming back here again. We enjoyed it!

VERY outdated, we're told in our owners updates Worldmark strives to update they're units every 5 years, this property clearly was purchased and never updated since it was built. No AC, definitely not summer friendly units, we had a 3br Tahoe 2 which is a two story unit with the master upstairs, downstairs was 84/86 degrees at night and upstairs had to have been close to 90, we only stayed two nights thankfully, if our stay was longer we would have even got a cheep motel 6 over this place with air conditioning. Definitely won't come back, if you come in summer time, save your points and book a hotel or air BNB.

Check in went well except the strong encouragement to go to a "feed back presentation", where we would receive a small gift and bottle of wine. We all know what this is, yet another tactic to sell more points. The worst part of our stay- I booked 3 condos, each has two bedrooms for a ski vacation with grandchildren. Amenities at this location include a hot tub, swimming pool and game room. All of which were closed. The management excuse is COVID. This is Nevada, and every other hotel/condo is open. They said "We need to figure out how we will open it." So, I went back in the next day to give them a way to open. Basically what every other hotel/condo is doing. Get a clip board and have families sign up for a allotted time. Have 15 minutes between appt to sanitize. I have gone back into the office several times and was flatly told this AM, "No, we are NOT opening it". I have called Worldmark and they have filed a claim. However, they tell me to call back after I check out so that they can address the management. ???What??? I have paid with my points for three condos, with no amenities. Is this fair...NO! Condo- my condo has a huge tear in the sofa arm. The spices that are usually in the cabinet(a variety) are 3 red pepper and 2 parsley. No pizza cutter. The parking is first come first serve, and I was told there might be room for my car after 4 when the cleaning/maintenance crew leaves. What?

There are no handicap available rooms. Stairs only, those whom are fluffy or with knee issues will suffer. The unit is really hot day and night. There is no ac or forced heat, we will not be coming back. We felt like we were in Mexico. Immediately upon check in they try to get you to upgrade, with a 20.00 deposit to hold your spot. They only offered a 25.00 gift card (a joke for a 60 minute torture session). Very disappointed with all the fees we pay to come to this. On second floor and the noise from third floor is easily heard, just simple walking. Parking is limited, there are safety concerns with cliff with no guard rail.

*********************** 703 ************************** It's my folks timeshare, so I come here often when I'm up in Heavenly for boarding. This time my girlfriends and I went for a week. The way the Worldmark by Wyndham Timeshare works, is when you RSVP, you don't get to choose the unit, so its purely by luck. Luck must had been on my side, we got the 2 bedrooms, on the third, top floor, corner unit, facing the South Lake Tahoe & the mountain, just simply stunning view. This 2 bedrooms unit offers 1.5 bath, a full equipped kitchen service for 6, a dining table for 6, living room, balcony deck, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a sofa bed. I couldn't be happier, this was the nicest unit that I've ever gone too. An outdoor pool but closed due to winter and an outdoor whirlpool up to 10 people. What I love is the kitchen got full stock of teas, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper & 5 packages of spices! So i managed to cook for my friends 2 days! Worldmark by Wyndham Timeshare is located in the Summit, about 2.5 miles to the main strip of Stateline where all the casino is at. If you don't want to drive, Go Blue bus stop by the Worldmark every hour to take to all the casino or Heavenly Gondola. It's so convenient. After 4 days of not a single snow fall in South Lake Tahoe, on Thursday our wishes came true. Woke up with snowing out at the window, we ran out and tasted the fresh snow, then headed to Heavenly Gondola! Not enough powder to snowboarding, but we made the best of it! Then came back, watching the gorgeous breathtaking sunset from our window, life is good. I got my time with my girlfriends before 1 moved to Japan, the other 2 to LA. What great week it was DEC 10-16. We had a great trip because of everything got to offer at this timeshare.

Let me preface this by saying the views are outstanding. The front desk staff was very friendly. It has a full kitchen but not a lot of room for storing foodstuffs. Full meaning a stove and full size fridge. There is a deck off the bedroom. No air but a fan in the bedroom. They have added a portable fan so that's nice. The unit does have a pseudo fire place in the living room but it's still summer :(. (Addition) I take the fire place thing back. It dropped to 38 the other night.. We turned it one he next morning and the room was toasty. Worked just fine. The unit, however, is outdated. A bit on the chintzy side. The bedroom has a king bed that is as hard as a brick and the pillows are flat. Plenty of outlets but wifi is not free. It's an extra $16.00. That sucks. It should be free. The unit has an apartment size washer and dryer but it takes what could have been storage in the bathroom. But what are the trade offs?I don't have to go to a public laundry. Hurray. You have only a small counter and the toilet tank(ewe). No place for soap or shampoos on the bathtub. The soap slides right off and you have only the narrow ledge for shampoo. No hooks to hang towels on the door or another towel rack We expected more from the Wyndham. We really did. You pay dues and upkeep. I like unexpected surprises and comfort. There is a pool and a hot tub. We are staying for a week too. Addition... Wednesday morning Ok, may I just reiterate, the beds are bricks. We've been here since Friday night, it is now Wednesday. I haven't slept well in all that time. I have pillows piled behind me and I've added the ones from the couch. My biggest beef with these time shares is that they don't splurge on the beds. You pay dues, every year, and the beds are crap. We HAVE liked everything else about this place. I have cooked us dinner and have been pleased with all that the units have to offer... Kitchen wise. We did bring up our own spices and cooking oil etc. but when you can't sleep and your back hurts everything else sort of fades away. I sat in the hot tub for an hour, hoping to relax enough to sleep, last night. No such luck. Look likes another nap on the couch for me. Hub and I are taking turns. He's not sleeping well either. 2 more night!!!

We made mimosas in the kitchen (room came with glasses and refrigerator)

Very relaxing resort! Despite the heavy snow, we enjoyed the room. Not to mention, the staff made us feel extremely welcome! Wide selection of movies that you could rent out and room came with a nice fire place. Amazing views from every angle. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

All the included amenities make The Landing stand out! One of our drivers, Benjamin had great energy and suggestions! Loved the free shuttle drives to everything nearby within a 2mi radius. Amazing location. Everything is within a walking distance. We had a partial lake view room with a balcony and fireplace. Our room was spacious and beds were super comfy! There's a mini fridge and Lavazza espresso machine and coffee pods. Heated bathroom floors, heated toilet seats, great shower pressure, and a bathtub with jets. Loved the touch with bath robes and slippers! They also have a rooftop bar with a direct view of the lake. One of the nights, there was a wedding and it was closed to hotel guests. The next day around 5:30pm there was live music- the duo was singing covers and taking requests. They were amazing! There was also complimentary charcuterie. Definitely a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Here are some other noteworthy amenities during our stay: Complimentary champagne from 3pm-10pm. Smores kits 6pm-10pm. Coffee, hot cocoa, tea, fresh apples in the lobby- and the best water from Tahoe. Free daily admission to the private Lakeside Beach. Heated pool and Jacuzzi. Fire pits. Even after we checked out, beach admission, parking and shuttle drives are still included for the whole day. Onsite restaurant, formerly known as Jimmy's which we didn't try. We stayed for a couple nights and wished we could stay longer. It was a stay that made us not want to leave the room and hotel! It was a perfect getaway and we can't wait to return for many more firsts together.

We feel in love with the view from the terrace which is where we had our ceremony and reception. We were impressed by the front reception staff immediately and booked our wedding about one year in advance. We met with Chelsea our on site Event Sales Manager, and things started off good. But we shortly there after felt like we were a nuisance by asking just a few questions, and we are low maintenance. You should plan on guests staying in other hotels as the wedding party booking process is a PIA, or perhaps this was just the case with our Event Manager, any questions took weeks or more to get a response. On top of that we reviewed pricing one year in advance at what we assumed was our guests budget, but we did not realize that the cost of a room about doubles with all their hidden fees. When we asked for a few minutes to meet and review some details of the site to figure out how and where we had access, and tried to coordinate it with a Sunday Wedding Open House, we were told that was her day off. I asked if she was going to the Open House which she said she was, everything made us feel unappreciated. We literally had 10 minutes of Q&A, which mostly revolved around where things were, what we had access to, so we could start planning decor, and things of that nature. We requested a 30 day prior meeting on site, with our wedding coordinator and Event Sales manager, as we want to review all last details and do a food sampling. Chelsea failed to respondto us or to our Coordinator, nor did she show up. Our coordinator had to call her manager to see what was going on, finally got her cell phone, she said she was working from home that day. We literally had no phone calls from our Event Sales Manager for the final 3 months. Once they have your money and commitment they no longer appreciate you or want to put any energy into you. Our Event Sales Coordinator ended up going to her high school reunion the weekend of our wedding, which would be fine if she informed us and told us an alternate contact should any issues arise, but it was a no call no show. Luckily our wedding coordinator was amazing, and had done many weddings at this site. They did REQUIRE a tip in advance of 20%. I asked than about if a tip jar would be placed at the bar and was told no that it would not. When we and the wedding party got down to the reception well after everyone else already there we found that there was a tip jar where they were asking all guest for more tips!! With no point of contact on site, we did nothing during the wedding as we wanted to focus on our day and deal with issues afterwards. After the wedding we spoke with her manager Keeley, told her of the main shortcomings during the process, in which she admitted things did not go as they should. When I asked for a few hundred dollars back for the double tipping I was told no way. She spoke with corporate and GM and they did not care, once they have you money. All the other people onsite were great. But if you go here, do not pay final amount until after the wedding. Challenge the up front tips, and be prepared that after you give them money they no longer care about making your day special. The Landing refused to respond to a complaint from the Better Business Bureau.

No room service, no daily maid service. Limited flexibility if for some reason there is a need to change rooms. I was informed that it was due in part to folks reserving the time share rooms. Valet parking can be slow if it is a busy time period. Pretty on par with many properties. People do smoke outside in the courtyard/by the gondolas and if your room is above you will get a bit smoked out. I noted that the property is right on highway 50 so there is quite a bit of through traffic; bicycle, vehicle and pedestrian. The rooms were clean and if one gets the full suite (kitchen, living and dining area) very spacious. Close to shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Overall, a nice place to stay. Just be aware that it is not (by design) a traditional hotel as I mentioned.

It's close to everything,…read moreincluding Heavenly Village, restaurants, shops, and the gondola, which makes it incredibly convenient and walkable. We typically stay at Edgewood when visiting South Lake Tahoe, but decided to try something different this time. Unfortunately, the stay got off to a rough start. We arrived around noon on Friday and were told our room was ready, even though official check-in is at 4 PM. When we went up, housekeeping was still cleaning and informed us it would be another 30 minutes. Later, the manager called to apologize and explained that we had been given the wrong room number. He asked for permission to have staff move our belongings to the correct room. While the apology was appreciated, it wasn't a great first impression and set the tone for the rest of the stay. There is no room service, despite having an onsite restaurant (Fire + Ice), which was disappointing after a long travel day. I also asked the front desk if they had honey so I could make green tea in our room and was told they didn't. For a Marriott property, that felt surprising and oddly basic. Housekeeping is not provided daily. There was no one to make the bed or tidy up during our stay. While we were told we could call if we needed anything, it still felt like a noticeable downgrade in service for a hotel at this price point. We stayed from Friday to Sunday, and the only complimentary item offered was a single homemade cookie, handed out individually. On Saturday, hot chocolate was available, but it was $5 per cup. Charging for hot water, cocoa powder, and a few marshmallows felt nickel-and-dimey, especially at a resort-style hotel. The biggest frustration, however, was the constant timeshare solicitation. Immediately after checking in, we were approached at the concierge desk and pitched a "promotion." We declined. Later that same day, we were approached again and declined once more. Then on Saturday evening at 7 PM, my personal cell phone rang with caller ID showing Marriott. It was the same person calling yet again to pitch the timeshare. While a gift card was offered, not everyone is interested in $200. Our vacation time is more valuable than sitting through a 90-minute sales presentation. After declining multiple times, the continued follow-up felt unprofessional. A clear "no" should be noted and respected. The room itself was nice. We stayed in a one-bedroom villa with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, living area, and a separate bedroom and bathroom. The layout was functional for families, with two TVs and a sofa bed in the living room. However, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and made sleeping difficult, especially after long days out. There was a simple welcome note in the room, but no other welcome amenity. We weren't expecting much, just a small thoughtful touch. The property does offer an outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi, open from 8 AM to 10 PM, which is a nice amenity for families and for unwinding after a day out. Checkout is at 10 AM, which feels early. Many comparable hotels offer at least an 11 AM checkout. In our case, by Sunday morning we were so eager to leave due to the overall experience that we checked out at 8:00 AM. We genuinely couldn't wait to go. Overall, while the location and room layout are strong, the lack of basic hospitality, repeated sales pressure, limited housekeeping, and early missteps made this stay feel more transactional than relaxing. For the price and the Marriott name, I expected a far more polished experience. We would not choose to stay here again.

The indoor pool has a bit of a Hefner grotto vibe but is constantly packed with screaming kids. It's as if someone told management just to keep the lights on because nothing else matters. Prices swing wildly: sometimes just over $100, but on busy weekends they shoot past $600. Then they tack on a $27 nightly resort fee and another $20 for self parking. Truly delusional fees for what you get. I've stayed here several times only because the rooms are comped. I would never pay to sleep here. There are plenty of wonderful hotels, and even motels, in the area that don't charge bogus resort & parking fees. The online room photos are heavily filtered and don't match reality once you check in. A few positives: the rooms are spacious at over 400 sq ft, and some have minor upgrades like newer bathrooms. There's a Starbucks near the gaming floor, a spa and a few restaurants. I haven't tried them so no opinions there. Overall, this place desperately needs a facelift and real upgrades. Until then, the resort and parking fees should be eliminated. Bally's owners should know better.

They also gave us a room looking at roof when the hotel was absolutely dead & a parking pass that didn't work on day two, but they fixed it. Marco, Ron, Trinity & pit boss awesome! Older gentleman at cashier all get 5 stars. Starbucks was opened, but didn't know where the employee were for 20m, cigar bar & Casa Del Sol along w/ everywhere else was a ghost town. I understand 'season closed' & weather permitting, but service was awful!! The room was clean thankfully versus the horror stories we read on the way via reviews. Bathroom door like a prison door from TV! Not once did we eat there due to service. Brian at center bar was zero stars. Rude both days. Said I may burn him w/ cigarette if I ash to the left ash tray...bizarre! Never heard that one in my life. Lady at Blackjack table rude, guy at blackjack didn't hit when I asked him to hit & overall the worst experience & I live in Vegas. So I understand the game & business. Wasn't worth the argument so went to bed & didn't spend another penny.

I am shocked at all…read morethe bad reviews after staying there but realize several are minor things people are complaining about. Check in was seamless and the front desk worker was able to get us two rooms only a few doors from each other. We ate at the landshark night one and it was empty. It was good for a convenient meal night one. We were pains with the valet managing two cars and stuff in both but they were patient and kind with all of our needs. The kids did the pool every night and had a blast. Yes, there is a lot of chlorine in the pool but I understand why. The kids loved checking out the turtles everyone we walked by. Minor inconveniences/issues: The Cafe is only open until 5 or 6pm on weekends days which is fine, but unless you go to a bar there's no vending machines I could find for late night drinks or snacks. Going to the bar for a soda might be triggering to someone sober. Vending machines might be a nice addition. The room wasn't filthy but the couch had stains (presumably from pets but who knows). I understand they only have so much time to flip a room. The TV in the bedroom didn't work. I didn't complain or mention to the front desk as it didn't seem like a huge deal since there's another TV in the living room. I wasn't hugely fond of the curtains for the window facing the hallway inside the building. It isn't completely blackout so there is light from the hallway at all times. It also felt like people could see in and as a female alone with 3 kids that was a little worrisome. Thankfully we were at the end of the hall. Overall, would stay again.

The location is…read morehard to beat, you're right on the California/Nevada border, so a few steps puts you in Nevada. Harrah's is across the street and Caesars Republic is catty-corner, making it easy to walk around and enjoy the area. The resort is in a great central location. We walked to restaurants, shops, and even down toward the lake. If you walk straight down, you'll reach the private beach, just keep in mind there's about a $30 entrance fee. The breakfast buffet is a flat $25 per person. It wasn't really worth it for us since we're not big breakfast people. Instead, we grabbed coffee and breakfast sandwiches/burritos from Joe's Merchant in the lobby for around $10-$15. Valet is $40 a day, but parking can be tough to find, so it was worth it for us. Overall, great location, easy to get around on foot, and a place we'd stay at again.

The townhomes are beautiful and have 3 levels. I see they've made some improvements- probably based on families. The stairs are steep, so with two kids running around, it can be nerve wrecking. I saw they added nice child gates to the top of their sets of stairs. In the townhomes, you have 3 levels and 2 patios: one patio on the second floor (living area with a half bath) with an egg chair and table setting. The third level is the bed space and that patio has the soaking tub and a little seating area. Their main bathroom is huge- beautiful modern shower with a huge soaking tub for two. The soaking tub takes some agility getting in and out, but is nice and deep and has jets. It takes a while to fill up, but once it does, it's really relaxing. We love how both walls next to the sliding glass doors on both levels have a see thru fireplace. Such a cute, romantic detail that's nice to have running while you're relaxing. The heated floors in the bathroom are an added perk. Oh! And you get your own garage- even though you still have to access the home from outside the garage. They are incredible accommodating. They have a list of things offered on request like kids toys, hygiene kits, ironing board, etc. They get added points for having those really expensive amazing Dyson hair dryers as their hair drying option too It's one of our favorite places to stay!

Met a nice girl that told me all about her travels to Japan. Which is helpful and put my mind at ease as my husband and son plan their trip. Staff and GM were very helpful and patient with our group, which did include mainly younger children. We took up most of the kitchen as we ordered pizza and dined indoors. Sorry to nearby guest if we were too loud. We were all just so happy to be together. We enjoyed time at the nearby lake watching the sun go down, swimming in the pool, playing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows (which was generously provided by the hotel), and playing board games. Food was also easy to order and delicious. So convenient to be able to grab complimentary coffee with our breakfast, which was yummy. Yogurt bowl, with the berry compote was my fav. Overall my family really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. Thank you Coachman staff!! Also thank you to Liz who coordinates group reservations! She is extremely helpful and kind. Would not have found this gem if not for her.

Coachman is divided into two sections with a street separating buildings 5-8 from the lobby and…read moreremaining buildings. The area around the lobby is beautiful, appearing newly renovated with working fire pits, a deck and pool area, bar and lobby area. If you are in a room on that side, there are plenty of amenities for you to enjoy. We were in building 7, a room across the street from the luxury of those conveniently located amenities. In absence of the amenities, it did offer quiet as there was not a lot of foot traffic or people on our side. There was a fire pit directly beneath our 2nd floor room; however, it did not work since it needs gas (per the staff). None of the fire pits on our side worked, we were later told they were for the community center by reservation. Check in was easy, the staff who assisted were pleasant and thorough. When we arrived to our room, the in person version did not look as upscale as the photos I based our booking on. The fact that there is a shared microwave should have been the biggest clue. There is no coffee maker, rather a kettle for hot water and packets of something to use. Checkout was simple as well. Amenities: The fridge was pretty spacious for being small and there were plenty of shelving for snacks. The hanging space had five hangers, which were located directly above the kettle. The toilet seat had 3 temps to warm your bottom and the water in the shower (and sink) got really hot so be careful. The mini balcony was nice to exist on and fairly quiet even with cars and people passing. The staff were friendly and have been accommodating with requests for room service. Heavenly Ski Resort was a 5-10 minute walk from this location along with a plethora of eateries and shops including Target, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Ace and other shops. All within walking distance inside the same shopping center. We will not return to Coachman Hotel for future stays. There are plenty of surrounding hotels near by. Our daughter did enjoy the balcony, the room was clean and well maintained. For us, we prefer accommodations with an actual coffee maker (as advertised), a microwave in the room and a more luxurious feel to our stay. The s'more hour was fun for our lil one to experience. Staff were exceptional so I would not discourage anyone to consider Coachman.
