I stayed here for a friends birthday. The location is in the mountains off a cliff. If you are disabled make sure you ask for the first floor because there is no elevator. Breathing was hard for me since I have asthma so bring your inhalers lol. The view is stunning. You can see the fireworks if you stay there. This is not on the strip but driving distance. Generally good service. Location is best. Building needs upgrades, but not at the cost of increasing my maintenance fees, pls. Other guests above were much too noisy. Parking is their biggest issue/problem, however, so guests park everywhere/all over the place, including red zones, so it's a fire hazard and they've been reported to local authorities. My next call is to Worldmark Corporate HQ. Convenient location. Nice sunsets. No sunrises, though; not from our second floor unit (D 01). Was told this 2 bedroom unit was best view in the complex. First time at WorldMark Lake Tahoe Originally, we were waitlisted and this location opened up. We drove up to the South Shore location to check in, we have stayed there before but they couldn't find our reservation. Hmm... and usually I would print the confirmation to bring with me. They never usually ask for it. Anyway, after resolving the confusion we were directed to this location which was almost 5 miles and more remote at a higher elevation (7,344 feet above sea level). Didn't know WorldMark had two locations in Lake Tahoe. The check-in desk is located in Tahoe 3 at Bldg D. After we checked in with the friendly desk clerk all was good. RC was very helpful. We were assigned to our one bedroom unit on the 3rd floor (just across the registration office) on Bldg C. Our building had an observation deck and we enjoyed daytime views of Lake Tahoe with nice photo ops. The unit was smaller than other WorldMark resorts. When the sleeper sofa in the living room was in use there is little to no room at all in the living area. Our unit had a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, washer/dryer, a balcony and a small deck outside our bedroom. No BBQ grill though. The fireplace would turn on automatically to adjust to the temperature. We weren't able to use any of the resort amenities during this stay so can't comment on them. There are no elevators at this resort and stairs are required to access all units. During winter months those steps get slippery from snow so exercise caution. No bear encounters but we were told that they do show up looking for food from the parked cars. Overall, pleasant first time stay in this Lake Tahoe location. Review #1546 read more

Upon entering the two bedroom, I was a little disappointed. The place was not as spacious as other WorldMarks that I have been to. This room had a 1.5 bathroom and a small balcony that opened from the master. The half bath was a tight squeeze. The floorplan for this space was very cramped and the layout was not as effective as it could have been. The decor felt dated and cheap. It sits about three miles away from the main road and it's a bit windy. Overall, I would come back here with my girlfriends or with a significant other, but I wouldn't bring my young kids as the space was too small. read more

Great experience here. Couldn't see much of the resort when we came years back since it was covered in snow but it was still enjoyable.

It's a nice place. BUT it has one major problem. Start with 5 stars Remove 1 star: The shower / tub has no grip on the bottom of the tub. So you will slip and slide. You know know people have gotten hurt. There is nothing to put down. Remove 1 star: If you get back after 9pm good luck finding parking. Now the good things. Yes it's it a 10 min drive from downtown but the view here is worth it. The view is great. The room are nice. 18+ swimming pool. Woot. read more

My first time here. The room was great. There's never any parking spots. They go quick. Might have to park down the hill a bit and walk up. Our place had a nice fireplace in the living room. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We went to the timeshare meeting or presentation by the Safeway down the road, they were not pushy at all. Gave us a lot of helpful information. 06/26/2020 Friday at 5 pm. Racism at the Pool. WorldMark Management did nothing to make us feel safe. Disappointed with this property. The Incident: We had an incident during our stay at WorldMark Lake Tahoe. My family and I had a pool reservation from 4 pm - 6 pm on Friday, June 26, 2020. I love having pool reservations during COVID19, which helps keep the distance, so that was a great idea on WorldMark end. The max amount of people at the pool was 20. My family of 5 (total), a couple, and a family of 4 share the pool area, keeping everyone distant and respecting everyone's space. Then this older couple (over the age 60, white man and woman) came to the pool. The first thing the woman did was accuse us of not keeping distance, saying, "How are YOU people keeping distance in the pool, and how AM I going to get in the pool with everyone here?" "I am from Santa Clara County, and you need to keep a distance from everyone." We replied we have already been keeping distance, being on one side of the pool. Then she continued stating, "WE deserve the space, and YOU people (pointing at us) need to move." We replied again, we are one side of the pool, and there is plenty of space for everyone to share. Then the woman started screaming, "It is my right to have pool space, I have been a member of WorldMark for years, and I deserve MY SPACE." She continues, "Whose radio is this, it needs to be turned off and moved from MY SPACE, there are no chairs for ME, where am I going to sit, YOU people need to move." With her age, we let the woman throw her tantrum, we moved chairs for her to take, and kept our distance from her. You think that would be it, and we can move on and continue enjoying our time at the pool. However, then this woman walks over to the other side of the pool (where the family of 4, who are all white, was occupying) She then asks the family of 4 if they are "liberal or conservative". The family stated they are liberal. The women then continue saying, "well, that's what's wrong with YOU people, YOU just let people like THEM do anything." Then kept on making bold statements regarding Black Lives Matter and San Francisco Gays. The family of 4 wanted no part of her and moved to the other side of the pool. Fyi, our family consist of me (Brown Woman), my boyfriend (Black Man), my cousin (Brown Woman), her daughter, (7 years old Black/Brown girl), and my best friend (White Woman) My cousin, an owner for WorldMark for over 20 years, decided enough was enough and requested to speak to the staff. We did not want to engage with this woman and instead have WorldMark employees deal with her. What WorldMark Management did: There was a maintenance man at the pool, we explained the situation, and he went right away to get the front desk woman and the manager, Tanya. My cousin goes on and explains to Tanya what had happened at the pool. The front desk woman was shocked by what happened; however, Tanya did not believe one word. She continued stating we were overly exaggerating, and then maybe we misunderstood her. My cousin continued to tell her we had witnesses to what had happened. Even the father of the family of 4 came over and stated what he heard/saw. However, Tanya explains that the woman may have just been concerned about social distancing, and what we heard was something different. She finished the conversation with my cousin and walked back to her office. She did not speak to the woman or sympathize with us. We were honestly shocked that she didn't even talk to the woman. We are disappointed with the way management handled the situation. We did not feel safe having this couple there. Honestly, with things that are happening right now, we are uncertain of what could have happened to us. We decided to leave the pool area because we no longer wanted to be part of this situation. We understand that there is much tension around the world right now more than ever; we live it every day. This was our first mini-vacation, since January. Just for the weekend, we wanted a peaceful, fun time. If you decided to stay here, make sure you are aware that if something happens, where you feel unsafe/uncomfortable, WorldMark Lake Tahoe management will do nothing to help. One Bonus Plus: However, I do want to shout out the evening/weekend maintenance man, Sean. We call the front desk and request extra towels. He brought them up to us and asked how our stay was going. My cousin, who was still emotional from what happened, explained to him what had happened. Throughout the weekend, this man did everything he possibly can to make sure we had a pleasant stay. He told my cousin to text him if we needed anything, he passed by a room a few times check-in on us. He even stopped to speak to us on our way in and out of the resort. VERY outdated, we're told in our owners updates Worldmark strives to update they're units every 5 years, this property clearly was purchased and never updated since it was built. No AC, definitely not summer friendly units, we had a 3br Tahoe 2 which is a two story unit with the master upstairs, downstairs was 84/86 degrees at night and upstairs had to have been close to 90, we only stayed two nights thankfully, if our stay was longer we would have even got a cheep motel 6 over this place with air conditioning. Definitely won't come back, if you come in summer time, save your points and book a hotel or air BNB. read more

Check in went well except the strong encouragement to go to a "feed back presentation", where we would receive a small gift and bottle of wine. We all know what this is, yet another tactic to sell more points. The worst part of our stay- I booked 3 condos, each has two bedrooms for a ski vacation with grandchildren. Amenities at this location include a hot tub, swimming pool and game room. All of which were closed. The management excuse is COVID. This is Nevada, and every other hotel/condo is open. They said "We need to figure out how we will open it." So, I went back in the next day to give them a way to open. Basically what every other hotel/condo is doing. Get a clip board and have families sign up for a allotted time. Have 15 minutes between appt to sanitize. I have gone back into the office several times and was flatly told this AM, "No, we are NOT opening it". I have called Worldmark and they have filed a claim. However, they tell me to call back after I check out so that they can address the management. ???What??? I have paid with my points for three condos, with no amenities. Is this fair...NO! Condo- my condo has a huge tear in the sofa arm. The spices that are usually in the cabinet(a variety) are 3 red pepper and 2 parsley. No pizza cutter. The parking is first come first serve, and I was told there might be room for my car after 4 when the cleaning/maintenance crew leaves. What? read more

There are no handicap available rooms. Stairs only, those whom are fluffy or with knee issues will suffer. The unit is really hot day and night. There is no ac or forced heat, we will not be coming back. We felt like we were in Mexico. Immediately upon check in they try to get you to upgrade, with a 20.00 deposit to hold your spot. They only offered a 25.00 gift card (a joke for a 60 minute torture session). Very disappointed with all the fees we pay to come to this. On second floor and the noise from third floor is easily heard, just simple walking. Parking is limited, there are safety concerns with cliff with no guard rail. read more

Drove 4 hours from SF. Called resort ahead of time to notify management that we were bringing service animals. Stayed for all of two hours before management told us animals could not stay due to complaints as our dog barked. Was given a sheet of boarding places minutes before 5 pm. Was told we had to be out before dark. Left after a 2 hour stay. Drove an additional 4 hours home. Management refuses to refund any or partial credits. Horrible service and customer experience. Put timeshare up for sale the next day. Timeshare is now sold. Good riddance! read more

Had an opportunity to stay here a few nights thanks to a friend. It's a nice location, that is very close to the casinos and Heavenly Gondola and Heavenly lift. It's about 4 miles to get to Harrahs's, Hard Rock, Raley's and the Heavenly Gondola. There is also a lift around the corner to one of the ski/snowboard runs. I'm not sure if that is part of Heavenly, but it really is just around the corner. Like no joke--a 2 minute drive. You park and hop on the lift. As you are driving to it, you can see the snowboarders and skiers making their way down. Again this is not the Heavenly Gondola--as that is over there by the casinos. So I'm not sure if this is part of Heavenly, but it is very convenient for those who want to ski/snowboard right around the corner. There wasn't much snow on our trip here, so the roads were mostly clear. I will have to add, although it is only 4 miles from the casinos, Heavenly Gondola, and the other main stores, the road is curvy. I could imagine if it was full on snowing, you would have to be more cautious. As for the rooms, we stayed in a nice 2 story 3 bedroom on the 3rd floor. There is a FULLY STOCKED KITCHEN. When I say fully stocked, I mean there are plenty of plates, glasses, cups, pans, pots, blender, mixer, pizza pan, knives, etc. I mean EVERYTHING. BUT, THERE IS NO RICE COOKER. So keep that in mind. Has electric stove, oven, fridge with ice maker, and dishwasher. We utilized the kitchen and cooked each day we were here and it was great. There is a dining area and a living area with a fireplace and a small TV above. Then there is an upstairs that has another living area. There are 3 separate bedrooms and 2 baths. 2 bedrooms and 1 bath are downstairs, and the others upstairs. It is very spacious. We had 6 adults and 3 kids and it was plenty roomy. You could fit 12 easy. The decor was dated, but it wasn't rundown. The seal on one of the windows though looked like it needed replacing as we saw moisture coming in on the cold and ice. The bathrooms were fine as well. NO ELEVATORS. I mean it was fine, but for older folks or people who just don't like to go up and down stairs. Be mindful of that. We had to lug my 5 month old daughter in her car seat. Was no problem for us, but I could see how some (many) may complain. Probably my biggest complaint is the internet/WIFI. There was a connection but it was down. We called and they said someone had to go out to the location to check. Our 3 days there, and it was never fixed. I know, being out in nature we shouldn't worry about internet. Truth is though, some people just need to have it. I was planning to get a few hours of work in, and couldn't. Even if it was fixed, my friend said it wasn't free and you had to pay. Which I was willing since it was for work, but we didn't even get that far. If you have T-Mobile and ATT, there is signal up here, but you may only get 4G and not LTE. Overall, I can't complain too much, since my friend hooked it up free. I just deducted a star because of the window seal issue, WIFI, and the stairs may not be convenient for a lot of folks esp. with young children. Other than that, this place was great to stay at and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or go again. read more

The way the Worldmark by Wyndham Timeshare works, is when you RSVP, you don't get to choose the unit, so its purely by luck. Luck must had been on my side, we got the 2 bedrooms, on the third, top floor, corner unit, facing the South Lake Tahoe & the mountain, just simply stunning view. This 2 bedrooms unit offers 1.5 bath, a full equipped kitchen service for 6, a dining table for 6, living room, balcony deck, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a sofa bed. I couldn't be happier, this was the nicest unit that I've ever gone too. An outdoor pool but closed due to winter and an outdoor whirlpool up to 10 people. What I love is the kitchen got full stock of teas, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper & 5 packages of spices! So i managed to cook for my friends 2 days! Worldmark by Wyndham Timeshare is located in the Summit, about 2.5 miles to the main strip of Stateline where all the casino is at. If you don't want to drive, Go Blue bus stop by the Worldmark every hour to take to all the casino or Heavenly Gondola. It's so convenient. After 4 days of not a single snow fall in South Lake Tahoe, on Thursday our wishes came true. Woke up with snowing out at the window, we ran out and tasted the fresh snow, then headed to Heavenly Gondola! Not enough powder to snowboarding, but we made the best of it! Then came back, watching the gorgeous breathtaking sunset from our window, life is good. I got my time with my girlfriends before 1 moved to Japan, the other 2 to LA. What great week it was DEC 10-16. We had a great trip because of everything got to offer at this timeshare. read more

WorldMark owners STAY AWAY from this property! There is no air conditioning and the staff will not permit the windows to be opened. The ceiling fans have two options- off or high, which means during the night there is not any circulation or it is blowing on your face the entire night. If you want to use the kitchen- good luck. There is a limit to the number of coffee filters you can have (3), and according to staff, they have eliminated the pots and pans- this used to be standard when staying in a WorldMark. After paying maintenance dues for over a year and not being able to use the membership this place is a joke. If I could give negative stars I would! read more

Let me preface this by saying the views are outstanding. The front desk staff was very friendly. It has a full kitchen but not a lot of room for storing foodstuffs. Full meaning a stove and full size fridge. There is a deck off the bedroom. No air but a fan in the bedroom. They have added a portable fan so that's nice. The unit does have a pseudo fire place in the living room but it's still summer :(. (Addition) I take the fire place thing back. It dropped to 38 the other night.. We turned it one he next morning and the room was toasty. Worked just fine. The unit, however, is outdated. A bit on the chintzy side. The bedroom has a king bed that is as hard as a brick and the pillows are flat. Plenty of outlets but wifi is not free. It's an extra $16.00. That sucks. It should be free. The unit has an apartment size washer and dryer but it takes what could have been storage in the bathroom. But what are the trade offs?I don't have to go to a public laundry. Hurray. You have only a small counter and the toilet tank(ewe). No place for soap or shampoos on the bathtub. The soap slides right off and you have only the narrow ledge for shampoo. No hooks to hang towels on the door or another towel rack We expected more from the Wyndham. We really did. You pay dues and upkeep. I like unexpected surprises and comfort. There is a pool and a hot tub. We are staying for a week too. Addition... Wednesday morning Ok, may I just reiterate, the beds are bricks. We've been here since Friday night, it is now Wednesday. I haven't slept well in all that time. I have pillows piled behind me and I've added the ones from the couch. My biggest beef with these time shares is that they don't splurge on the beds. You pay dues, every year, and the beds are crap. We HAVE liked everything else about this place. I have cooked us dinner and have been pleased with all that the units have to offer... Kitchen wise. We did bring up our own spices and cooking oil etc. but when you can't sleep and your back hurts everything else sort of fades away. I sat in the hot tub for an hour, hoping to relax enough to sleep, last night. No such luck. Look likes another nap on the couch for me. Hub and I are taking turns. I got to stay here for a week during the summer days of August. It was nothing but wonderful. We got here a little earlier for checkin and they were extremely accommodating to us especially after an 8 hour drive. They got us into our room as soon as possible. The room was on second floor that had no real view of the lake or the mountains but I was ok with that. We just walked over to the other building to see the view of the lake and sunset. Beautiful and breathtaking! The room had a fully equipped kitchen....everything from pots and pans, spice packages, real utensils, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, everything you want in a kitchen... they had it. The bedroom was wonderful, nice and cozy. It was a one bedroom unit but this place sleeps up to four people because of the pull out bed. The bed was kind of crap though..took a while to get use to. Since we are in the mountains...there is no air conditioning. It is suppose to be cool but not this summer around 80s to 90s, so it was pretty hot. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Everything was wonderful for about the first 3 days. Then some giants decide to stay on top. They simply couldn't walk normally but stomp all day and night. Very hard to be at ease when they are stomping above. I suggest you ask for the top floor so you don't have to deal with that. The staff here is wonderful, anything you needed they had. If you need more of something just ask and with graciously restock any of your needs. If you want to go down to the lake it is only a 6 mile drive or take the bus that takes you down to Harrah's or Harvey's. -Give it a try if you want. read more

I love Worldmark by Wyndham...they are the best timeshare company on the planet...if you don't know, you buy a piece of the company...not a piece of a particular property so you can stay at any one of the properties as long as you have the points...& they have room/s available... & every single property was paid for in cash...zero debt!!! & each year 1/10th of the properties are being remodeled... This was my first time to Tahoe...there are 2 Tahoe properties btw...this review is for the one on Tramway...we could only get a 1bedroom...with a sofabed...the heater is actually the fireplace...plus another heater in the bedroom...beautiful views...less than 15 minutes from the actual lake...closer to 10...just be careful of the ice if you are going during the winter...they salted the road of the resort...my teenage daughter skidded a couple of feet before they iced the road...a local told me that Tahoe proper doesn't salt the roads.... We checked in at the top of the resort & then we were in unit B1...on the 2nd floor...no one could get to their garages due to the snow...no biggie...I think my only complaint is really the people above us were noisy AF...I called the desk & they said quiet time is 10pm so if they are still noisy after 10 to call them back...they called them & told them...they were still noisy until 9:50...lol...I swear they were playing twister with combat boots on or something...lol... All the staff were really nice...every time I check in at a WMbW the staff has always been nice....always... If you are considering buying a timeshare...check out WMbW....if you tell them my name (Antoinette Cardinal) I will get points if you buy!!! I would absolutely give this place 5 stars for the killer view off of the back balconies facing the lake. Gorgeous! The rooms, however, leave a little something to be desired. They were very neat and clean. Filled with plenty of dishes to accommodate at least 6 guests. Lots of pots and pans; enough to do what you need. Loved having the electric fireplace. The temperature controls in the rooms were pretty outdated. They looked like floor heaters built on the walls and they are quite noisy. The furniture has no theme (nothing matches). The master bedroom was very small and the twin beds were quite uncomfortable. I tossed and turned every night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I also loved that they had a small washer and dryer unit; a bit outdated but great to have. If I could have given a 3.5 I would have. Overall, not a bad place to stay and it is close to all kinds of food and shops. Plus if you like Heavenly, you are nearly on top of it at this location. I would say they are a good place to stay, just not a 5-star. read more

To start this review, I will say the view from certain units in the place are amazing. You could see the lake from most and the front desk has a great look I am a fan of Wyndham hotels because of the size and organization of the units. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath and it worked out very comfortably for two couples. If you had a family of 4 this would be the perfect place. Little living room is great with a couch, two chairs, a fireplace and TV. The dining room has a full 4 person table and the kitchen is a galley kitchen with enough room to cook for a few days. The location is OK. If you are looking to go to ski/board heavenly, this place is in a great spot. There are two chair lifts right around the corner from here and very easy to access. If you are trying to come up to gamble, hang out at state line, play golf, etc. it is about a 15 minute ride and uber is hit and miss. You would have to call a cab or drive to make it easier. I would definitely recommend staying here! read more

What's really nice about this spot is that we didn't see snow, as it is early in the season, until we got here to the timeshare. So the kids were able to play in the snow right outside of the room. The staff is very friendly. The room was clean and stocked with all of the necessities. The only think about this location is that they are limited on additional supplies and the classiest store is about a 20 min drive so I would suggest arriving fully stocked with everything you need. They did have extra toothbrushes and an hdmi cord for my sons playstation. It would be nice if they sold some type of concessions or at least had a vending machine because there is a mini movie theater available. read more

We come to Tahoe at least once a year. It seems that it has become our 4th of July place for the past three years. There are three Worldmark locations in Tahoe. We prefer to stay up on Tramway than down on the main strip (too many people for our liking). We are really close to Heavenly. The condos are nice, with typical Worldmark features. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, etc. Our unit this time included a jetted tub. We were in an end unit with an amazing view. The pool is not on property which is kind of a bummer. I took advantage of the grocery delivery. It's $25 but it's so great arriving to a stocked kitchen. The staff at the front desk did really well. I'm sure we'll be back! read more

Friends who had been there before had warned us: Worldmark Tahoe is no Worldmark Windsor or Worldmark Oceanside or even Worldmark Angel's Camp. If you've never been to Tahoe, this is no way to see it. In fact, you won't see the lake at all. It's a 4-5 mi. drive uphill from the lake with absolutely no worthwhile view when you get there. Because we required a disabled-accessible room, we were relegated to a facility above 7000 ft. alt. w/ no onsite office--we were told the only disabled-accessible units were located in this cast-off location, tho' Worldmark has two other facilities in the South Tahoe area. It appears to be a property they acquired cheaply because even ski bums didn't want to stay there. Worldmark brings you a fresh new concept--internment for the handicapped. There are zero amenities, the kitchens are not disabled-friendly, the ground is uneven--the parking lot needs repaving. There is only one accessible bathroom in the unit and it's within the master bedroom, so not generally accessible to every guest. And at the facility designated for people w/ mobility limitations they don't even provide luggage carts! If you need additional supplies, the response is surly and the delivery uneven at best. A campsite at Meeks Bay or Camp Richardson would be more accessible--& you'd see the lake. I'd be very interested to see how many (if any) visitors go back to stay at Worldmark's red-headed stepchild a second time. read more

I am an owner. I use this resort when I cannot find any availability at the other resort - South Shore on Hwy 50 in Zephyr Cove. Don't get me wrong it has a beautiful resort with an amazing view at Sunset. Friendly staff, clean amenities. It is a trek to the resort. Its past the casino's on the Nevada South Shore side and up the Kingsbury Grade and if you get car sick get ready, it's kinda gnarly... well at least for 2 of the people I know. We stayed in a 1 bedroom that sleeps up to 4 people. One bedroom with a queen bed and the other a pull-out bed that is actually more comfortable than the one in the bedroom. probably because the bedroom bed is used more often. As for all of the Worldmark Wyndham resorts I've stayed in they have a full kitchen with all your needs, just not high quality. Parking is tight because one spot per rental. read more

I have been to many worldmarks but this one is very unique. This place sits 7800+ feet above elevation and has a gorgeous view! I have been here once before but the view never gets old. The staff at the front desk is very accommodating and has very good hospitality. The rooms are above average and this place is 5 minutes from the casinos in downtown Tahoe. My parents treated my little family of four for a week in a 1 bedroom suite and we truly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, including spices (not just salt/pepper), hot chocolate, coffee, as well as dish-washing soap and dishwasher detergent. There were baking trays so we made cookies and a casserole dish. The fridge was normal size apt fridge and perfect for our stay. There was also a washer and dryer so we didn't go home with any dirty clothes. Flat screen TVs and DVD players in both living and bedrooms. Living room also had a nice radio that could hookup to your ipod/iphone. The view from the third floor was spectacular, the balcony from the bedroom faced Carson city and could see the sparkling lights in the valley with the snowy sierras in the distance. The front deck had sunset views of the lake and you could even see the lights from the strip. The downsides ... - no elevators, so plan to make several trips when unloading/loading up - no garbage shoot, they ask you to take out all the garbage but there is no shoot, no elevator and 3 stories down across a icy parking lot was a dread - not much space to store clothes; one closet in the bedroom, one dresser and two nightstands. The staff was nice and attentive. If you needed anything extra you would need to pickup yourself from the front desk. Also, no daily cleaning but they do equip each unit with a vacuum which came in handy with my messy toddlers. Also, when we went up there wasn't much snow so the drive was easy but could imagine it would be a treacherous drive up to the summit if it was dumping snow. No street lights, just some reflectors and 4x4 & snow tires are required on the summit. I'd recommend hitting up Raleys/Safeway before driving up if its dusk or later. Its a very windy road so I could definitely see someone getting car sick on it, take it slow. Could tell there was a speed trap for the locals at the top as we regularly saw patrol cars parked at the summit sign. Its about 15 min to the strip, 30 min drive to Carson City and 45 min drive to Virginia city with clear weather conditions. There was only one parking spot per unit, we would keep put after dusk and not lose our spot. however if you are coming back later at night expect to park down the hill/side and a little hike up the street. For parents of toddlers, there's a lovely rec center at the bottom of stateline with a nice playground. We would not only recommend but hope to return next year! read more

Actually, let's make this 4-1/2 stars for the room, 10 stars for the beautiful view of the lake, and five stars for the customer service. I thought I was booking the Zephyr Cove property, silly me. I realized my mistake, as we headed up the mountain towards Heavenly. Ooops. We were in Tahoe 3 and I'm glad this is the property we ended up with, after all. These are a bit dated former timeshares/condos before Worldmark bought them in the 90's. We had a one bedroom, which is a bit dated, a bit dark (dark blinds, dark carpet) and kinda small. Cleanliness, 5 stars. My biggest complaint are the showers. Unless you are under 5' tall, which I am not, I had to squat down to wash my hair. Hello Worldmark? Maybe a shower massage can solve the problem. Or add some sort of plumbing to raise the shower head. Had my son, who is 6'4, been here it would hit his chest. The bed wasn't comfortable at all. Our backs were killing us, so we didn't sleep well. I felt like I was sleeping on concrete. Some minor things-- no hook on the bathroom door for a bathrobe. It's a girl thing. WiFi isn't free, but I've come to expect that. We paid $5.00 a day (they changed their rates recently, I think). It worked fine, so no complaints there. The hot tubs were pretty meh...as in very tiny. We never used them. It's all stairs, too, which is a challenge for me-- with the artificial knee and limp. No elevators, so just know that. There are no ground level rooms. Other than that, we had all the amenities we needed. Tahoe 2 is one I wouldn't recommend and was not recommended by the staff, either. Tahoe 1 is perfect if you're a ski rat...it's perfectly situated for the ski lifts. I hear a renovation is scheduled for March 2016. I think that's a good idea. Let's hope that a female plumber who is 5'7 or above improves the shower heads. Oh! With great trepidation, we did the owner's workshop and they really stuck to the one hour and we learned a lot! read more

We stayed in a second floor unit, It was a horrible experience. The unit had a whirlpool tub in the master bath. In the afternoon, I was taking a bath and the bathroom was overwhelmed with a pot smell.The odor also consumed the living room. We have small children that kept complaining of the smell and their eyes burning. Every couple of hours the smell kept re-occurring. The living room and master bath were bombarded by the smell. Management tried to reduce the smell, by performing "remediation". This consisted of having to evacuate the unit, and unable to return until the maintenance crew finish. However the smell kept re-occurring every couple of hours, my relaxing vacation consisted of dealing with management, maintenance workers, and marijuana odor. read more

Sam is THE MAN. I needed a few papers for work and he got them ready in a pinch. Super polite and friendly staff. The club house is a lot of fun, pool, ping pong, board games and a lovely fire to warm up by. Our room doesn't have a view but the room itself is great. Really open and spacious, love the high ceilings, patio deck and the open layout. Close enough to the casinos (about 15 min) but not in the blackhole of gambling central. Parking was easy to find and the lot was plowed despite the heavy snowfall this year. Love this place read more

1st time staying in Tahoe at the end of summer. Stayed in a 3 bedroom in building 3 and can't complain at all about the set up of the place. Big roomy and closer to the pool that at the main complex; yes it's separate from the main units and office, but I liked it even better for that reason. Only thing I didn't care for at first was being on the second floor with lots of stairs. (Out of breath by the time I got to my room, but I'm fat so I needed it anyway. Lol!!) Only around 3 miles from the center of everything available. Casinos, shopping, beaches, food, and some amazing scenery. Staff was amazing and so eager to help with anything they could. *5 Star staff* We did one of the owner trainings they offered as a refresher for us and Sooo glad we did. Mr. Mike Knowles did such a great job going over everything and clearing things up I totally had wrong that we upgraded and purchased more credits to be able to take advantage of ALL Wyndham has to offer. So if you're not an owner or if you are an owner and thinking of adding credits Mike is your guy. Very family friendly 7 day vacation. Thank you Tahoe. read more

My unit had a great view of the lake and the mountains. Rooms were clean and was easy to stay warm. The staff made sure we enjoyed our stay wish they offer discount deals for ski lifts but cant have everything. read more
