This is a family all time favorite. It just outside of the strip and across from a beautiful Safeway grocery store. The rooms are always clean! Our favorite is a 3 bedroom, it comes with double beds and a king bed with a Murphy bed in the living room. We like to stay here when we cant get the room on the mountain. Nice location. Parking is good but some areas needed the street lights to work; near our room was one of them. Arrived at night so it made for a difficult time retrieving things from car. This place could use a renovation. We had to had several issue addressed. Only one phone and the cord was broken, lamp light bulb out, oven light had one bulb out with no replacement, dishwasher heating element for drying dishes did not work, and coffee machine broke during our stay and was replaced with one that had a completely different filter basket that you couldn't use with the cone filters provided. Pretty much a bust to try and make coffee with cone filters in a round basket. Everything we asked for took a while so we had to go to front desk for some items. The decor was worn and so was the furniture. So this place could use improvement in quite a few areas. I was also told that sales staff were aggressive personalities. read more

I love coming here for the accommodations and the stay. We got the 2 bedrooms , which has a king size bed in the master and two twins in the second. There is a pullout bed in the living area that conveniently hides in the wall. They have all the Utensils and pots you need to cook. They have a pool, kiddie pool and hot tub next to the rec area where the lobby is. You can check out pool balls and ping-pong from them with your room key. They also have games you can play there. They do have another covered hot tub by the rooms, which is nice and private. It is close by to Nevada Beach, which is a nice short walk to it. I definitely recommend doing this for the scenic route and the beautiful Lake. We went and got to enjoy the beautiful sunset. There is a Safeway close by where you can pick up on groceries for breakfast and there are a few restaurants nearby . read more

It was a long drive, but we made it on time to pick up our party weekend gifts--and from the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. Everyone was incredibly nice and the hospitality was top-notch. The location of the condos was perfect--nestled among beautiful trees with impeccably maintained grounds. When we walked into our unit, we were immediately impressed by the spacious rooms and stunning views. Being so close to the secluded jacuzzi was an added bonus! Stayed here for our first time through our timeshare and I really loved the place.. the room was spacious and very clean, we were right next to a hot tub and everyone here was very friendly.. the price was amazing and it was close to everything! Having a kitchen is a must when you have a family and I really enjoyed have two separate bathrooms for each room as well.. we will definitely be back!!! Oh yea p.s.. I one hundred percent left my expensive curling iron in the bathroom and supposedly they never found it which means the maids stole it.. obviously because I don't have it!! sooo make sure you take all your important things.. other than that it was great.. read more

The location is great , walking distance to the beach. Rooms are clean when we check in but the dirty sheets was left behind in our front door. Internet was not great, we keep on losing the connection. We are a big group of 8 and are registered but they give us 6 person only to connect. When we called that we cant access the internet. John just give us a number to call to solved our problem. He said that we has to disconnect our IP address. Kudos to Valerie, she is good as a guest relation , front desk. What a nightmare this trip has been honestly. As owners we all know quiet time is past 10pm in all resorts. It was midnight when I had to call reception 4xs about the people above me in 11-204 being extremely loud, stomping and running in the unit. To my surprise I was not the only one calling and complaining about them. The receptionist talked to them on 2 different occasions and they refused to cooperate and go to bed. I have a 8 year old with me and my fiancée . It is now 3am and the noise is still going. I tried yelling at them to go to bed, we banged the ceiling with the broom multiple times and they still kept going. Finally after I realized the receptionist was extremely useless, we called the cops. Sheriff could not have them trespassed because it's private property but SHE could and she did not. I am beyond pissed . It is now 4am they are still moving around and now everyone in MY unit is awake including my daughter. We have a 5 hour drive in about 4 hours and we are all awake with no decent sleep. The fact that the rules do not matter in this place is beyond me. Any other resort would have kicked them out from all the 3hr complaints received !!!! This is crazy honestly I can still hear them but at this point I've given up I'm so mad I'm never staying here again. Go somewhere else !!! Btw we have multiple videos of all the stuff we had to tolerate. Update: at around 7:45am I went to reception to get management information and receptionist information because in my opinion this was handled wrong all around. I'm on vacation and I shouldn't have to be banging brooms in the ceiling, yelling at them or calling the cops because the receptionist told me to "do what I have to do" in order to get them to be quiet. While talking to Karina at reception (very nice individual and understanding) John appeared out of nowhere. John who apparently has been here for more than 20 years. He then proceeds to tell me that they could not trespass the resident because of this being a timeshare. I told him so then anyone can just break any rules and regulations and you guys wouldn't do anything about it then? He then says yes. Ultimately he kept going back and forth instead of de-escalating the situation telling me "too bad so sad that your family is sleep deprived before your road trip" . Finally, he told me BY LAW they just couldn't do enforce rules on them or have them trespassed so here is the law for you John: Under Nevada law (NRS 207.200), the owner or their authorized agent (which includes resort management or reception staff) has the legal right to require a disruptive guest to leave the property. If the guest refuses, they can be trespassed and law enforcement can enforce it. A timeshare 'owner' does not have unlimited property rights like a homeowner. The resort is still private property controlled by the association, which can restrict access (as they did during COVID) and enforce quiet hours. Resort staff absolutely have the authority to: Enforce community and quiet-hour rules; Warn a guest to stop disruptive conduct; Require a guest to leave if they refuse to comply; Contact law enforcement to have the guest trespassed if they will not leave voluntarily. Any staff member claiming they 'cannot enforce the rules' because 'everyone is an owner' is misinformed about both Nevada law and timeshare governance. Some advice here John: Stop being combative with guests specially when they come here to relax not deal with any of this. Also, take some de-escalating classes before you insert yourself into a conversation you were not invited to because NOBODY was talking to you (even after telling you I did not wish to speak to you, you kept speaking to me) so learn something here including your laws. read more

We are Wyndham & WorldMark vacation club members. We love Lake Tahoe, so this is where we stay, we've stayed four times, the first 3 times were decent, the kids love the pool & "game room," which includes a TV, ping pong table and pool table. The room has always been clean. The front desk staff is not very friendly & seems to not be very helpful. However, I do have 2 complaints, leading to the 3 star review. 1) When you check in & go to get your parking permit they ALWAYS attempt to pressure you into a timeshare talk, again we already have points for WorldMark and Wyndham, we don't need to buy more, nor do we want to waste our vacation listening to their high pressure sales pitch, regardless what they offer or call it, they tell us it's a "member update." It's quite annoying, they don't accept "no" and when / if you are able to walk out of there without being signed up for their talk and just with your parking pass, they called our hotel room at 9am the next day, when we were sleeping, and our cellphones to try and get us to attend a talk. 2) They DO NOT HAVE air conditioning. We stayed in August 2024, the weather was 70-90 degrees. People don't typically go on vacation just to be hot. They have ceiling fans and extra fans, but our hotel room stayed between 70-80 degrees based on if there was airflow and time of day. We were uncomfortable for a good part of the time and didn't want to be in the room when it was so hot. We probably will stay again, but not during the summer and will definitely be checking out other options in where we can use our vacation points that has air conditioning. read more

We've come here during summers but this is our first time staying in the winter and it feels magical! The fireplace gets extra attention during this time as it warms everyone up after a day of sledding or any other snow-filled activity. Access is easy and there's a Safeway just across the street so location is very convenient. There's a park at the end of the street with access to the lake and that's a bonus! Units are pretty much up-to-date but I can say I'm not loving the couch. Who loves sitting on plastic/polyester material while trying to enjoy a warm fire? Please change this back. Let's put our maintenance fees to good use, please. But all in all, this is one location we'll be sure to come back and enjoy in any season. read more

Out of all resorts we have stayed at this is the most outdated and feels dark and not comfortable.

we come here about twice a year and at every time they set up a time at which they try to sell you more points. They paint a very attractive picture so that you would give them the business and buy the points and promise to support you anytime you need their help. Some of the information that they give you is incorrect for example we were told that as Wyndham owners we can use interval international for exchangebut when I called The customer service at Wyndham they denied it then I came back to their office and told them and the person at world mark Nicole said that the person that I spoke to at Wyndham did not know what they are talking about. Then I called interval international and after they took my information, they sent me an email denying a membership. They said that they only provide membership to World Mark owners. At the educational meeting, we were told that we could use either Wyndham or World Mark to join interval, but it turned out that only World Mark can. When I went back to the office upset about the misinformation we were treated disrespectfully. They said that the person who sold us the upgrade was on vacation and we had to set up another appointment to talk to her which made me upset at the fact that they tried to pass the buck and cause us more time commitment at a later point whereas I was there and they had the ability to help me right then and there all they did at the time was have another person come and show us on the website which phone number to call for interval international instead of actually getting us enrolled. if they tried to do that it would be evident to them that Wyndham owners cannot join interval. we are disappointed at the poor customer service that Wyndham and World Mark Tahoe have provided to us. read more

The location of this timeshare property is great, walking distance to Zephyr Cove where you can enjoy the beach, lake, or one of the hiking trails. You are just a short drive away from the casinos, Heavenly Village and the downtown area. The resort is large, housing many buildings and communal areas but due to COVID we couldn't use even the jacuzzi which is understandable but some properties do have these facilities open. Also due to COVID you're on your own for anything you need such as fresh towels, dishwasher soap, etc. The units themselves are a bit dated and bare-bones. We loved how spacious our 3 bedroom unit with a Murphy bed in the living room was. Even the kitchen, living and dining room were expansive. We had everything we needed to make meals for our large group. Each room has a tv (service went in and out) and there's a gas fireplace in the living room that's turned on with a switch. Awesome! It doesn't give off heat but the in-unit heating worked great. There isn't anything truly remarkable about this resort but I think if you needed space for a large family and wanted to spend a lot of time cooking it would be an acceptable choice. read more

If you're a Worldmark timeshare owner, be prepared to be treated as a second class citizen. Spoke with Mark Hatto at the front desk and he aired out his frustrations about upper management. Our unit's dishwasher leaks, has a broken rack, and the freezer door doesn't keep shut which melted our ice cream. Mark refused to send anyone to look at or fix it as they were already aware of the defective appliances and have been told by Worldmark that they don't have the budget to fix anything for the next 2 months till March. Never mind the fact that annual "maintenance" fees are paid! Where do these fees go? Most likely into the pockets of the Board of Directors, Cecilia Cuevas, Bob Hartsock, Kevin Maciulewicz, Martin Hernandez, and Mark Payette. Shame on them! Don't bother reaching out to the (855) 670-0758 number the Club Wyndham Business Manager mentions in their replies to negative Yelp reviews. I tried multiple times today and it just rings 4 times before it automatically hangs up. Beware of room 2101! read more

My family and I headed to Tahoe for Spring Break. This place is really cute. We had the 3 bedroom suite- seemed cleaned. Kitchen was fully stocked. I wish the beds were comfortable. Heated pool outside. The game room was a nice place to hang out. The gym was simple. However, there was only one working treadmill. The staff were helpful and kind. Lots of parking. It would also have been nice to see some signs on the property that stated that bears were crossing? We had little kids with us and that would have been an interesting situation. My husband and I left the suite to pick up a couple of necessities. Upon returning, we wondered what was in front of us while parking- it was a bear. It was rummaging though the garbage. Also, there is a Safeway across the street, and other stores. Pretty warm as well, but tons of snow at the resorts. read more

Let me tell you what an awful business enterprise Wyndham Worldmark whatever it is, is. We planned and had confirmation for two condos for a family vacation a year in advance. They had no trouble taking our money when reservations were made. I had family come from Missouri and the Bay Area and we made the trip to South shore only to be told we were bumped and our reservations were canceled when we got there, not a text, not a phone call in advance. The person who informed us at the desk was very snotty and disrespectful. He broke the hearts of my family including 3 grandchildren. All they gave us was a number to call where they offered us a standard room at a quality inn, we had planned on separate bedrooms, 2 baths per condo, kitchen, living room. Horrible way to treat people. Do not support any Wyndham business, they are ruthless and a big rip off. And my son is an owner!!!! They should be ashamed! read more

Location, location, location! South Shore is the perfect place to make a get away if you're the type that wants to be close to it all yet have your distance from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. There is a Catholic Church next door and a beautiful beach down the street. The beach itself leaves me speechless. When people say to keep Tahoe blue, now I fully understand the premise behind that term. Just a quick drive away you can find yourself at Heavenly and my are those slopes heavenly! I was so sad that we were there for such a short time! I wanted to his those slopes so bad! When checking in, my fiance got this fantastic package of places to go, restaurants to try, bars with good happy hours, and a burlesque show! How awesome is that?? Our unit had a master bedroom along with another room with two twin beds. Three flat screen TVs, a full kitchen, dinning, and common room. Bathrooms were clean and nice, ceiling fans in almost all of the rooms. On the patio was a small table and a outdoor cooker. Next to the main office is a fantastic sized pool and Jacuzzi. Hospitality and everything here is an A+! read more

I'm only giving this place one star cause I can't give it zero. Me and my family drove up here and when we went to check in, they told us they didn't have rooms for us because too many owners wanted to stay there that weekend I had my entire family here ready for a weeklong vacation, only to find out that we had nowhere to stay. They did not call us or contact us to let us know the places they offered to put us in return were not even close to comparable. We literally had to turn around and drive all the way home, robbing me and my elderly parents of a vacation. Worst customer service ever worst place to stay ever. read more

This is one of my family's favorite Wyndham properties. We were in building 14 next to the pool. The property has one pool, two spas, and a children's playground and game room. The Wyndham side of the property has updated rooms, with gas fireplaces and full kitchens. This is the perfect property for families enjoying the lake. It is located in Zephyr cove near South Tahoe, casinos, and Heavenly ski resort. The resort is walking distance to the lake and shopping centers. The staff is friendly and helpful. I really only have one complaint about this place and it's the WiFi. Members pay lots of money to stay at Wyndham properties and only offering four devices to access WiFi in a three bedroom unit that sleeps 10 people is ridiculous!!! I wish they had more activities for the kids throughout the week. The photo of the very dirty towel is what happens when you scrub the carpet with a damp rag. They obviously don't clean the carpets enough. read more

Drove 4 hours from SF. Called resort ahead of time to notify management that we were bringing service animals. Stayed for all of two hours before management told us animals could not stay due to complaints as our dog barked. Was given a sheet of boarding places minutes before 5 pm. Was told we had to be out before dark. Left after a 2 hour stay. Drove an additional 4 hours home. Management refuses to refund any or partial credits. Horrible service and customer experience. Put timeshare up for sale the next day. Timeshare is now sold. Good riddance! read more

WorldMark South Shore is a very, very nice place to say. From the front office staff to maintenance people we interacted with all were quite amicable. We stayed her over the Christmas week. There were five adults and one infant. We had reserved a two bedroom suite at the time, with one in our party prepared to sleep on a pull-out couch or a Murphy bed. Prior to arrival we were notified by staff that they had upgraded us to a three bedroom suite, at no extra cost! How great was that? Check in was a breeze. The lobby offered fresh baked cookies to those desiring to indulge. There also is a large lounge area with some table games to keep you busy if you arrived early, or just wanted to hang out there (we did not). Upon arrival to our suite we were amazed at how spacious it was. It contained a full size, stocked, kitchen; living room area with a large flat screen TV and natural gas fireplace; a dining room area, three bedrooms, one of which was the Master with its own full bathroom, with each bedroom having a flat screen TV; a shared bathroom; an in-closet washer / dryer combo; and there was also a Murphy bed if needed (it was not). Each room also comes with a patio or balcony. The suite was very clean. The furnishings were all newer and comfortable enough. The only issues we noticed with our suite was a slight drip in the refrigerator, coming from the beneath the top stacked freezer, one of the bedroom TVs was completely out of commission and appeared may have been damaged by a previous guest and went unreported to staff, and on the last night the central heater unit began making funky noises. Regarding the heater - there was no gas leak, it just sounded like it was struggling. But, it worked and kept the suite warm. These issues were reported upon check out, so the next guests may not have to deal with them. We all thought the place was wonderful and would want to stay here again when / if we revisit the area. In years past, while visiting Tahoe, we had stayed in other accommodations around the lake. For us this place gets the 5 star rating - 'as good as it gets.' Thanks for a great time, staff of WorldMark South Shore! And no, we did not attend any time share meetings. Our son and DIL are paid up members. I love this place compared to the North Tahoe resorts. The rooms feel much more cozy. Based on the furnishings, this WorldMark resort seems to have upgraded to Wyndym. The place is immaculate! Tips: The concierge is terrific, so do spend some time giving you advice on place to go and events. The desk also sells $2 little projects/fun stuff for kiddies. There elevators, but no carts, so pack a small dolly or use cases with handles or rollers. Maintenance can help you if you really need assistance. On check out day, the front desk gave us a call to ask us if we needed help with out luggage. We didn't need it, but it was great they called. Unfortunately, they didn't upgrade the knife block, so I suggest you bring a couple good knives. H20 boils at a lower temp here, so cooking pasta is easy. Bring a metal colander if you plan on draining hot food. At this resort the pool is open year round, it was about 65 degrees out when we got to the pool area, but the pool was cold for just about everyone but me. The pool was heated, but the water was probably under 60 degrees. If you like to swim, my advice is that you get in the main pool and "stay" in the main pool. Once you get out, it's over, there's no coming back. There is a spacious hot tub and kiddie pool (about 2 ft deep) but unfortunately there is only one of each. The front desk also sells beach balls for $2. We are used to units the carry robes, so don't forget those either. The desk said they don't carry them. TV- We found some kids shows on channels 25-27. There are videos for rental at $3, but I noticed a lot of PBS videos for $5 at Safeway in the bins after checkout. Safeway also had toe warmers for your boots. Safeway conveniently across the street, so you don't really have to bring your food with you. You can pretty much buy everything at Safeway. There's a really organized Dollar Store at the mini mall near Safeway in case you need foil, zip lock bags or sand toys the staff are really friendly and were really helpful with their suggestions. The only thing I really regret not bringing was out telescope. It would have been nice to check out the sky at night. The resort area is on the Sunnyside. You can find some quick fun at Glenbrook about 15 mins away. You can drive up and snow sled. There are no rentals there, so bring ur sled or tube. You can find some fresh pack about 100 yards from the sledding area to have a snowball fight or build a snowman. The locals struggle to keep the place clean so please take your trash and litter with you. I loved the stay. My only reservation is that the shower in the master bedroom is small, but I do like that it has shelves for your things. read more

Came here as part of a timeshare and if all the other places to stay in are like this, I wold happily spout the joys and the worthiness of shelling out your hard-earned money for the chance that you might or might not use it in the foreseeable future! The place we were provided was like a large luxury apartment with the following amenities: 1 master bed with its own 3/4 bath Full bath 2nd bedroom with 2 singles Washer/dryer Ironing board and iron Queen sized murphy bed in the gigantic living room Full kitchen with complete appliances, cookware, serving ware, eating ware 6 seater dining set in the dining room High ceiling living room Tv in each room and living room Balcony The resort has a rec room with a pool table, a ping pong table, lots of comfy furniture and dvd's for rent. Wow! You can't go wrong here. When we come to Tahoe we usually rent houses, but those days are over. The condo's are fully equipped and you short of a mile away from the casino's. The location is the best! You are close enough to everything. Outside your porch, you can easily step into the snow. No need to take the kids tubing, you can bring your sled for the kids to play right outside your window. The layout is spacious, unit itself is clean and has plenty of storage. The rooms all have flat screen tv's, dvd players and the decor is up to date, even with the accent walls. lol Can't wait to come back again, very cozy, great for a large group, everyone is satisfied!! read more

Second time staying here. Shout out to Juli, who was extremely helpful and took care of me and a parking issue with my truck. The units are large and accommodating for a family of 4. Kitchen is great and there is a Safeway across the street for all cooking needs. Pool and hot tubs are a huge plus. We definitely like this spot and will be back. Both trips have been in early April when there is not a lot of snow. We do not have experience with snow removal or parking with snow on the ground. Complaints about carpet should keep in mind most people come up here to ski and you track tons of dirt around in snowy/slushy/wet/muddy conditions. It's the reality of the situation. read more

I stayed with one other family who actually owned the timeshare in their 3 bedroom units and I gotta say that it felt like home. It did not feel like I was staying at a hotel but in someone's apartment. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, one room with 2 twin beds, another with a queen bed, the master bedroom which has a jacuzzi and a murphy bed near the front door. Each room has it's own flat screen T.V. and free wifi. The resort is conveniently located just down the street from the Lake Tahoe shore that can be easily walked or a short bike ride to. Safeway is right across the street so if you want to make a late night dinner and you're needing some ingredients, you're set! read more

As an owner of Wyndham South Shore I have stayed on many previus visits with better experiences. I will give a couple extra points given the fact that I had a large group of family staying with us and around the tahoe area. First I will state the good consistant points to the resorts. The resort is fairly new and I am happy to be an owner, but they are not maintaining the interior of the condos like an owner would. The landscaping is beautiful and the amenities are great. The condos are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for the number of people that can stay in one room. Close to the stateline while far enough to be serene and tranquil. Now on the negative side I have things to note that I am not used to seeing. For having used a 3 bedroom unit we only got 1 parking space and since we came back late from the casino every night the car had to be parked a good distance away. All other vehicle's had to be parked off site. Amazingly the bathrooms were not well stocked as far as toilet paper and towels for a unit that is said to sleep 12. Getting things like toilet paper, towels, garbage bags, coffee filters(wrong filters for coffee maker given), etc. was a small hassle. read more

We had a two-bedroom suite and it was really nice. The master had a king, the 2nd bedroom had two twins and there was a murphy bed in the living room area in addition to a couch and two arm chairs. The dining table fit up to 6 people and there were two stools at the counter. It was quite spacious and comfy here. Although it's a couple miles away from the casinos, it's not a very long drive. Since this is my family's timeshare, I'm sure we will be coming back again. read more

This is a great place to stay. Understand, this is a timeshare property so you'll probably be renting from an owner if you stay here, and if you're not an owner they will as you to attend an ownership workshop. I'm a timeshare owner at a different property and I must say this is very well designed. The unit has a full kitchen, a dining room, family room, master bedroom with on suite, two other bedrooms. There is a balcony with an electric grill, washer & dryer in the unit, and a Murphy bed. I'm a man traveling with a wife and three daughters, and the space of this condo is great. Wife and I have our own room, kids can easily separate themselves when needed. Every room has a flat screen tv. It's like staying at home while on vacation. There is a nice welcome center/club house with exercise area, big screen tv, ping pong table, swimming pool, and spas. It's easy to find this place and it's located right across the street from a grocery store. With 5, and sometimes more, traveling, we like to reduce the amount of eating out and we can only do that in a place like this. My only negative is the lack of free Wi-Fi and the fact that you can hear neighbors above you if they are noisy. Overall, it's a great place and I would definitely stay here again. read more

I stayed there with my family over New Year's for 2023 and I can't write a glowing enough review. It was a great location and they have THE BEST MOST ATTENTIVE STAFF of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Sam the assistant manager was particularly accommodating by helping us get our cars dug out of the snow and providing the best advice and service you could ever expect to receive. The management there are useless, they do not care about the customer. They do not clear snow correctly. old ladies digging out their cars after heavy snow, uncleared walkways, pickup truck with plow only snow removal. Car was hit and management did not care. Do not purchase a timeshare here! read more

So far its super nice here,although there isnt air conditioning,there is a fan in every room,tv in each room,loft room has jacuzzi,we are on way to pool,ill get back to you..I love our stays at the Wyndham resorts..Always fun and have everything we need..Its always close to fun activities and restaurants...Thankyou read more
