    Hello world - I have been a Worldmark member since 1996. It used to be great in the 'olden days' before Wyndham took over. They recently changed their website for "Owner Enhancements" and I am beyond SUPER frustrated. As of late, one can't even reach a member services person over the phone at any reasonable time. [Less than 1.5 hours to be exact...] Read on for my woeful tale.... At the beginning of 2022, we got the friendly email reminder that a large # of our points were expiring (the ones we hadn't been able to use because of COVID) so we contacted - or shall I say attempted to contact - Owner Services to find out what options we had. The first couple of times I called were at 1 or 2 pm in the afternoon where I waited on hold for 1.5 hours with no one answering. [Wow... I think I am still hearing the hold messaging in my sleep!] From that point, I decided to email Owner Services. The automated response to my initial email said I'd have to wait 12 days. OK... I'll do it. After 19 days without any response, I sent another email and called two more times (you guessed it, I waited on hold for over an hour without reaching anyone.) This time the autoresponder email said 19 days. We tried to book something and got crazy errors every time. no matter what form of payment we tried.. (see attached graphic) So I sent another email with the error. .......... UPDATE: Have spoken to several employees directly about expiring points - and NEW WEBSITE errors. Was not the best experience from the new Wyndham takeover. Turns out the long hold times (in upwards of 1 hour 45 minutes) have been happening since December, so will resolve to not be 'special' in my situation. By the way, my error below turned out to be resolved after the Customer Service person deleted my CC info and reentered it from her end.     someone in the check receiving division added a 9 in front of the number I wrote on my check for maintenance dues so that the total amount was 9,000 dollars more than the actual amount. My banked allowed it to be cashed (I'll be leaving a review for them as well). so I had 9 overdraft fees and late payment fees for several bills before I discovered what happened. The bank refunded their fees. I spoke to someone at Worldmark on 8/1 who said it would take 3-5 business days, so at the very latest, I would get the money by 8/8. Then I got an email on 8/4 saying 1-2 days which was also by 8/8. I just got off the phone and they said I should get the money "any day now" and there was "nothing I can do". His name was Manny from Orlando and he told me I needed to call the Vegas office. I asked how I could call them and he said he didn't know. Then he said I had to wait until 8am pacific time because they weren't open. The website says all offices open at 6am. He accused me of making it up! I asked him again how I specifically get ahold of the Vegas office and he said it depended on who was available at the time I called. So basically I had to keep calling until I finally found someone from Vegas.I hung up on him. I emailed the person who emailed me on 8/4. Haven't heard back. If the credits for Worldmark weren't in the toilet right now, I'd sell them all, but they're already paid for and I'd never get back what I put in. If you are a worldmark owner, never send them a check. If you're thinking about becoming an owner, don't.

    This review is for the drive-in movie experience…read more The good: The park has a great set up for drive-in movies! Secluded dark area in the back with a huge screen. Very easy to see, and they also do a good job arranging cars by size so no one is in the way and enforcing people who randomly decide to turn their lights on. Real movie theatre popcorn! I had no idea how much I missed this after months and months of not having any. The neutral: Donations go to the nonprofit wing of the park! The not good: Sound is terrible. It's through the radio and the first fifteen minutes of the movie wasn't even working (they did not restart it). I guess you could say it made for a retro drive in movie experience with funny sound. Even with bad sound though this would have been a five star experience - IF THE EMPLOYEES WERE WEARING MASKS. Every single one of the guests wore a mask. Only two employees were - the ones working the concession stand. The other four I saw did not even have a mask around their neck. Sure; they were outside, but come on! It's the law, and you are yelling directions so projecting your voice. I had even asked before if employees would be wearing masks and they said yes - but nope. Why????

Check-in was done at the lobby. At the lobby one will also find a store and a coffee shop. Complimentary movies and games can also be checked out at the lobby to enjoy back at your lodging. The store offers a little bit of everything, from clothing to snacks. Complimentary ice machines are available. Bagged ice can be purchased though. Lower-level parking is limited and was completely full in the evenings. We were lucky enough to get a parking spot every time we returned from playing. Wheel barrel type carts located at the gate make transporting luggage effortless to rooms. Adirondack chairs are scattered about the edge of the property to enjoy sipping a beverage, reading or admiring the view. A fire-pit, community BBQ, picnic area and kids play area help pass the time while on-site. The paly area is at the lobby end for those who do not wish to have quarters near noise. The cabin we were given was number 10, a handicap unit. The very first cabin upon entrance and the furthest from the lobby and play area. Our cabin was clean and well equipped. Snug Harbor provided us the peace that we were seeking at the time. My one suggestion would be to offer fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby to establish a more personal touch.

Yelp, the original business influencer site... let's hope Instagram & TikTok kids don't start making videos of all the businesses on here, they tend to ruin beautiful places.
