I would give this business negative 10 stars if I could. Early this month my wife and I took the Yellowstone/Mt. Rushmore tour. First off, the majority of the tour was spoken in Mandarin, basically excluding English speakers or anyone else who did not understand Mandarin. We were not told this beforehand. After we started our tour, they did a sneaky upsell and told everyone it would be a mandatory $60 additional fees for an extra tour. We had no choice but to pay or sit outside the locked bus. The hotel choices the company included in the package were disgusting, especially in Dude Motel and Rooftop in Montana. Roach-infested, bugs galore, no hot water, no customer service after 11 pm, and plugged up bathtubs were some of the lowlights. I wish I could post a picture of all the bug bites on my legs! If you look back at previous Yelp reviews from last year, there were the same complaints about these motels and not a darn thing has changed. Despite all of this, mandatory tips were collected midway through the tour and the tour guide had the nerve to count the tips in front of us to make sure we gave the minimum per person per day. He had the nerve to tell us all that we were welcome to give him more but $7 per day would be required. Aggressive and uncouth? Yes! At this point you should be wondering what the heck kind of backwards tour company is Worldnet Holiday and why didn't you pay more for a quality tour with some modicum of professionalism. But wait, there'e more. Two attractions promised on the tour were skipped including Reno, claiming that those stops were "no good," when in reality try couldn't secure the cheap hotel because a convention was in town. That's what we heard later was the reason. They were not upfront about this. Please save yourself the agony and pain of taking a tour with this company and heed my advice. The lower price is not worth it. In the end, instead of paying the $600 base price you will ending paying $710 and return home with some bad memories not to mention some nasty bug bites from the motels. read more

Think twice if you are considering their tours! I bought two separate packages from them - The first one was Yosemite 4 days and the second one was 7 days yellow stone. For the Yosemite tour, the tour guide get off the bus way before the destination after collecting $7 of mandatory tips for each day. More ridiculous was the bus driver took the the whole driving around the city just to conveniently dropping the other tour guide's wife off. When finally got to the final drop off place, it was over two hours late. I called the travel agency later on, and I was told it'll never happen again. Few days later, we went on the second tour to Yosemite. It was so bad to start it. It was 45 minutes late and no one told us anything. All of us waiting at the pickup place and wondering what's going on. I called the headquarter and I was told to call the tour guide myself because they don't know. I called the tour guide and he was extremely rude (his name is Mr. Mei I was told). He was yelling and screaming all over the places. He didn't know where the bus was. Finally the "Manager" of the travel agency called and made up excuses. He was very rude and impatience too. He kept talking without listen and without knowing where the bus was. The bus finally showed up more than 1 hour late to pickup the group. Extra tips: their tour packages pricing can be very aggressive. I got some discount and thought that was great. We booked an 11-days tour to China with WorldNet Holiday. The tour number CB-11 is advertised as "Scenery of China and China Luxury 11 days tour". The tour included stops in Beijing, Xian, Guilin, and Yangshuo. This tour falsely advertised vista stops in the itinerary, quality of hotel and total cost of the tour. In addition, we were subjected to numerous hotel and transfer changes, poorly trained tour guide in Beijing, and high-pressure "factory" tour salespersons and unethical sales tactics. The itinerary we were given and final contract does not include any stops to factory stores, foot massage, and medical shops. In each of these places we spend one to two hours listening to "educational" talks, demonstrations, and high-pressure sales tactics. In two of these shops, doctors dole out questionable medical advice in order to sell medication without full examinations of the patient. The two days we toured Beijing included stops in Beijing Olympic training center for foot massage, Ton Ren Tong for medical checkup, a candy shop, and Fung Shui 'education' then sales pitch on Pei Yao figurines. After health educational talks at Ton Ren Tong, doctors in white lab coats came in to take our pulse and recommended high-priced prescribed medication that can only be purchased at their shop. No questions were asked about health history, allergies, or medication in use. This tour wasted our time. If you want a good tour, do research and make sure you have a tour guide that departs from US or HongKong with you. read more

Totally agree with Charles C. I booked the package for my family to Yellowstone, and it was a nightmare The bus was 20 minutes late so I called the tour guide (Mr.Mei). He said he was not in charge of that bus and asked me to find the other tour guide. (Uh.....You didn't give me the phone number...) Then I called the headquarter to ask them to contact their other tour guides. The headquarter told me that I have to contact the tour guide directly. I know... But I don't have the phone number. Finally, the headquarter gave me Mickey's phone number, and I contacted him. I told him the bus was late and we were all waiting there. He was extremely rude. I told him the whole situation. He yelled and said he was not the one in charge of the bus, and he even hung up on me. Oh well......Most of WorldNet Holiday's employees have no idea what they are doing. They are not helpful at all and have bad attitudes. They don't know where their bus is, and they are very impatient. The only good thing about WorldNet Holiday is Michael. I contacted him and told him the whole situation. He's the only one has a friendly attitude. P.S. WorldNet Holiday only shows those positive reviews on their website. We joined their 5-day Yellowstone/Mt. Rushmore tour - bus there, fly back from Salt Lake City. Overall, the tour was better than I had expected. But it was very tiring - getting up very early (4am, 5am) every morning, and riding long distances on the bus. Not much time to linger and savor at each spot. But that's what we had expected. The nice thing was that we had a very funny and accommodating tour guide - Mr. Mui. He was very entertaining throughout our trip. We were also very lucky in having a very courteous and safe driver, Paul. We lucked out with this duo. The worst part was our stay at this Dude Motel in West Yellowstone (Montana). The place was a dump. Curtains falling apart, large stains on carpet, dry rot in bathroom baseboards. There was even no hot water when we tried to take a shower in the morning!!! When we tried to call the front desk, the phone just kept ringing, and no one answered. What a disaster! When I returned, I made sure I called Worldnet and gave them some feedback about this horrible place. I hope they will no longer do business with them. This motel should really close shop. read more

My mother and her two friends went on the Vancouver &Victoria Island 6 day trip. The tour guide (Mr. Chao/Chow) was terrible. He initially refused to take them to Victoria Island/Butchart Gardens because he claimed said there weren't enough people and the company would lose money. The guide then tried to charge each person an additional $30 to go to Victoria Island. My mom had to front the money for the ferry. After the Victoria Island fiasco, Day 4, the tour guide said he was leaving in the morning. So on the morning of Day 5, the bus driver drove the entire tour group to SeaTac to drop off the guide. The group then resumed the remainder of the trip. The only reason this trip gets one star is because the bus driver was awesome and was a better tour guide. Beyond ridiculous. My sister and I joined the 7 days tour to Yellowstones/Mt Rushmore, Salt Lake City, etc. For the money we paid, we don't expect too much but we were not dissapointed. The bus was new and comfortable, everyone in the tour group were, puntual nice and cooperative. We had a supernice tour guide Charlie. He is very knowledgeable and nice guy. I can't said that about the driver though. No doubt, he is a nice guy but his driving sucks!! Overall, we had a good time and will go to other places with their tour company again. read more

The driver who name is Pal and he is very professional. Also, I like to thank the tour guide who name is Charlie. he is kind and very professional too. we all knew and expected this will be a long distance trip. However, it did not make us feel boring. We took the trip to Oregon's Crater Lake with Worldnet Holiday earlier this month. I am only telling the facts: 1. We passengers were told to arrive at the bus waiting zone 15 min ahead of time. But their bus was 45 minutes late. 2. When the bus arrived at Eureka in the evening, one of our baggage was not found, which had a lot of clothes and other personal belongings. We did not know how this happened. Passengers' baggage were rudely thrown into the bus cargo by the driver. But somehow our bag was lost. 3. Regarding to our missing bag, the guide did not say sorry or express apologies. 4. We complained to Worldnet about our missing bag, and they were only willing to pay us $75 as the "compensation", which was definitely far away from the values of our lost belongings. We joined their 7-day Yellowstone/Mt. Rushmore bus tour in the summer. The tour was better than I had expected. The tour guide Terrence and driver Tomas are very nice. We woke up very early in every morning..... bus is very good and has WIFI. We spent extra $ for the tour as we already told by the company , so I have no complaint about this. However, on the way back to SF, we transfer to another bus. The driver was doing his own thing while driving... look at the business card, calling out, talk on the phone. Tour from Hell!!! Run and don't recommend this to your family and friends. We took the 7 day tour to Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, Salt Lake City and supposed to be Reno. Our tour guide Ping is very hard to understand and refused to understand complaints. He gave wrong information about the place. He is not very knowledgeable. Our driver Tom was courteous and very helpful. Tom and Ping did not get along because Ping will always not give Tom the itinerary for the day. We missed rest stop because Ping is sleeping to guide Tom. We will travel for hours which is against safety rules for drivers. Our motel in Montana called Yellowstone Country Inn has no elevators, the room is dirty and has no ref or microwave. When I called the front desk about the room they just picked up the mess and didn't bother to vacuum. Not to mention the bed stain . We have to cover the bed with towels. Front desk does not call back. And they were very rude when they came up to the room. And of course no hot water so we have to get a cold shower. Since the beginning of the trip Ping was discussing about Reno. During our last night that we are supposed to be in Reno. Worldnet Holiday changed the itinerary to Lake Tahoe and that we have to stay in Carson City. We were furious but they said they can't books a room in Reno because it was fully booked. We felt cheated because we paid a month before the tour. Why they didn't book Reno hotels or motels way before the tour? I asked to talk to Worldnet manager Michael. Who is another RUDE, IDIOT, and a manager from Hell. They won't listened to your complaints they will tell you to talk to your travel agent. Extra charges for places that are free for public. We get charged extra $60.00 / person for that. $7.00/day tip which they said is customary. Supposed to be split between the driver and the tour guide. But our driver said he didn't know anything about that. I just hope he got his cut . He was a good and safe driver despite short hours of sleep. The bus is just in fair condition. Other bus from other tour companies has free wifi. This one has none and we were not allowed to use the bathroom. Over all if it's not for the nice places in Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore. This tour was not worth it. Please don't book your tour from WORLDNET HOLIDAY . They are not true with their promises. You won't get what you paid for. 3 days to Oregon trips has been a disaster with defect window shad, poor seating and unorganized seating for passenger. The bus has parked at a wrong location at Union Square in the morning of the trip. Almost, the tour guide has cancelled the trip to Lake Shasta Caverns with lack of participant. Customer has informed the tour guide that was on the schedule with no matter how many people going as well report to the tour company. Bad services with lack off control of children on the bus that should sitting and not running inside the bus. read more

Travelers, BEWARE. I would give this review ZERO stars if I could. I should have checked the other reviews before I signed up with Worldnet Holiday's three-day Oregon trip. To put it simply, I had a terrible experience with Worldnet Holiday. I chose this tour instead of Lassen (another Chinese travel agency) only because visiting Lake Shasta was part of this itinerary. However, the Driver/Tour Guide, Mr. Chang, from the very beginning expressed a pointed unwillingness to bring us to Lake Shasta. He kept insisting to all the travelers that Lake Shasta isn't worth going to, and that it is dangerous for elderly people and kids, that the cavern is small and the ticket prices was raised from $22 to $36. By the way, I checked the price of Lake Shasta on the official website and it's listed as $14-$24, nowhere remotely near the marked-up price he claimed. The most ridiculous thing he said was that if there was even one customer not willing to go, he would not go. He asked us to raise our hands if we wanted to go, and because of his little talk, it was no surprise that there was at least one person not willing to go. He totally manipulated us by alleging all these terrible things at Lake Shasta. We weren't given the chance to see for ourselves whether that was something that was true or not. And furthermore, we didn't get what we paid for-- which was to visit Lake Shasta, in the first place! First of all, if Worldnet Holiday always skips this interest point, then why bother listing this stop on their brochure? The tour guide gave customers this false information to lie to us. In short, he was lazy, manipulative, and simply didn't want to make a stop there. The guide, Mr. Chang, did very minimal explanations at each stop. At the SunDial Bridge, he did not follow us to the other side of bridge, so no one knew how the sundial worked. It was only to our luck that one of the travelers had been to the place and gave us a brief overview. Isn't it the tour guide's job to explain things like this? At the Tree of Mystery, he only let us out for 20 minutes to use the restroom and visit the gift shop. He didn't bother to mention the trail and Sky Trail. The main demographic of people who go on these types of tours are old Chinese folks because their adult children do not have time to take them on trips, which is why an organized tour like this is appealing to them. I felt sorry for them because they were completely at the mercy of this tour guide about where to go and where to stop. As far as safety, Mr. Chang never waited for all customers to be seated-- he simply started the engine and drove off abruptly, without any warning, in which case several times people almost fell. There was a child who vomited on the seat, and even though it was reported to him, the area received absolutely no cleaning and no air freshener. For the rest of the time (1.5 days), all the customers had to endure the foul stench in a closed environment. With respect to the living accommodations, the brochure specified that we were going to stay in three-star hotel. However, the first night we stayed at Super8, a two-star hotel. Again false and misleading advertising-- we did not get what we paid for! In conclusion, NEVER sign up with Worldnet Holiday yourself, nor should you send your parents on this tour. read more

And there a 10 min away from the motel, the driver took us to the one of the Chinese restaurant and we can't use the restroom they want us to pay for buffet before we use the restroom. Very bad. We recently joined your "Classic Yellowstone Park 7 Days Tour." (YL-7) from 6/22/13-6/28/13. Most of our tour was pretty good, but the "Dude Motel" in West Yellowstone, MT was absolutely terrible. There was no hot water in the evening, no hair dryer, no shampoo (and when we asked for it, the lobby clerk gave us lotion instead), and the place was absolutely filthy. Our first (main) tour guide was alright, except he didn't specify what we would be doing and where we would be having lunch or dinner. The tour guide that picked us up in Las Vegas, Mickey, to go to Grand Canyon West was absolutely terrible. What happened was that the two groups that were headed to Grand Canyon that day, so the original 3 tour groups separated into two groups. We wanted to go to Grand Canyon West, so we paid the extra $85, and had the misfortune of encountering this tour guide, Mickey. When we tried to tell him that some of the people in our group didn't arrive yet, he said, "None of your business. Sit Down." (in Chinese) Then, one of the tour members went to call the people over that were trying to find the bus, and he, audibly, yelled "Shit!" Seriously? There were little kids on the bus! As young as 5! After that, some members of the tour group got into an argument with Mickey, and for good reason too. Instead of apologizing for swearing, he yelled at the tour group! Outrageous! When we were leaving from Grand Canyon West, we had a curfew of 2:00, but some members of the group, at rode the helicopters, didn't arrive at the bus until 3:30. Turns out, the helicopter ride itself took until 1:30, but they wanted to see the other attractions as well. The poor planning, swearing, and yelling should get this tour guide fired. read more
