Each roll of the 20'x100' wrap was short: 1pc 20'x83', 1pc 20'x85', 1pc 20'x87'. That's a total shortage of 45'! These short remnants offered us no utility at all. I placed 3 phone calls to a manager, Bill Wetzel. He never attempted to contact me to resolve the matter. Mr. Shrinkwrap is an OK supplier until there is a problem, then they will make no effort to remedy it. I think that Mr. Shrinkwrap orders the plastic count count, as an angle to take more profit. I will never make another purchase from them. Further, I will always warn my friends of the issue I had with Mr. Shrinkwrap.

The guy at the counter was prompt, extremely courteous and helpful. He took the extra time to ensure that he added the required RMA information to the label, as well as any other requests from the company I was sending it to. Simple, quick and easy. I met them in the parking lot of my building because they couldnt figure out how to park their MASSIVE moving truck on their own. I came down and they were smoking cigarettes next to their graffiti covered vehicle. It took them at least another 15 minutes to actually park and come up to my apartment...where they realized they forgot the dolly. So they went back to their truck and couldn't find it...because they forgot it. So now we are about 45 minutes past my start time and they begin moving things... My mom and I actually helped them bring boxes to the elevator to bring down because we were already so far behind schedule. The process would have been so much faster if they had not forgotten a dolly, and I would not have felt like I had to help because I was paying for them to carry one box at a time down my hallway. Matt had told me that the crew would be able to give me a ride to the new apartment, and when I asked them they laughed and said "ummm there isn't much room but if you don't mind smoking then fine" I hate smoking...so I got a cab. When I got to my new apartment they arrived more than 20 minutes after me...smoking again. I had asked Matt if I needed to get them a parking permit for my new street because I knew my location was zoned- he said no it was fine. Then of course the crew got a parking ticket and whined about that while they moved my stuff into the new apartment. They chipped the side of my dining room table and snapped the hanging wire on the back of a large piece of wall art. Nothing else was damaged. The whole day sucked. They were unprofessional and unprepared. I really don't enjoy paying people by the hour to smoke cigarettes. I called Matt towards the end of the process to let him know that I was displeased with the service, especially forgetting the dolly since I knew it added a lot of time to my move and required my mom and I to help. He tried to make things better by knocking a little bit off of my bill. But all in all the whole thing was terrible. I would NEVER use skybox again.

The movers were due to come at 3:00pm on Sunday. They called around 2:30pm to say that they were running late, approximately 15-20 minutes late. They eventually came at 4:00pm because there were tons of traffic. I was okay with it because they were straightforward and honest about it. Once they got here, they started moving the furniture that needed to be packed. My friend had an insane amount of furniture, that includes 2 beds, 3 couches, and 918273 drawers. (Okay not really but it felt like that). They were quick, professional, and efficient the whole time. Since they were working hard, and McDonald's was across the street, I grabbed them food and we took a break after loading all the furniture (I know I know, fast food is bad for you but it was across the street!). Once at the new place, I swear they performed a miracle or something. It was an enclosed staircase onto the second floor and whoever built the opening were not thinking straight because it was so damn small. The couches took forever to come up the stairs, and once it did, it took forever to get through the front door. For the third couch, they literally hoisted up over the railings in the front! I was amazed... and scared! They got everything in, the beds, couches, and 918273 drawers set to where we asked them to. They were very nice, very polite. Definitely did a solid job. I'm SO glad that my friend chose them to be his moving company because they definitely did not charge as much as other companies have quoted. But they still did just as good of a job, if not better, than those other companies would. If I had to move, definitely will call these guys! Shout out to Joe's crew !! Oh, and yes the polite thing to do is to tip your movers, don't forget. They work very hard.

With my first move in 2020, there was a bit of a scheduling issue, causing the movers to arrive later than originally scheduled and with a van rather than a truck (I had been told that it would be a truck in order to fit all of my belongings into one trip). Therefore, it ended up taking two trips. However, the owner made things right by only charging me the original rate for one trip. Mistakes happen and I'm fine with it, as long as the company owns up to it and makes it right. And there were no similar issues with my second move in 2026. The guys had furniture wrap and blankets to protect my belongings. During both moves, I did not find anything that was damaged at all. What more can you ask for!? I highly recommend Man With a Van! In fact, I'm likely going to use them again soon to help with some items that I will need to move into storage.

The dispatcher Paul needs anger management lessons…read more My friend recently moved across town and ordered Man With A Van movers as they had good experiences with the company in the past. Man With A Van gave my friend two quotes: a cheaper quote for Two Guys with a Van and a more expensive quote for Three Guys with a Truck. My friend sent the more expensive rate for Three Guys with a Truck. But then this dispatcher tried the blame game of "You didn't specify Truck" when to our surprise only Two Guys and a Van showed up. Lemme ask you a question. If I offer you a hotdog for $3 and a burger for $4, and you hand me 4 dollars, wouldn't anyone with a working brainstem assume that meant YOU WANTED THE BURGER? But my friend was sweet and offered: "Maybe y'all can come back tomorrow with three guys and a truck, because it's really a three person job", to which the movers declined. After a quick call, the dispatcher said there'd be no additional charge for extra trips due to the smaller vehicle. What's more is that one of the two Movers had a bad back and couldn't take the stairs like the other dude. So at some points the job is only getting done by one dude (you could argue one-and-a-half dudes). If THREE guys should be able to make the move of loading and unloading in TWO hours, then HALF that much manpower means... you guessed it: it's gonna take at least twice as long! Not to mention they spent extra time stacking things like Jenga inside the van to make it all fit in one trip. Because the job (that my friend agreed to pay $500 for three guys and a truck) took so much longer with one and a half guys and a van, Paul upcharges an extra $300!! Again, my friend is nice, and they're trying to hash this out cause they didn't get what they paid for, regardless of it it took more time. (And again, of course less manpower means more time). But instead of having a conversation with my friend, Paul starts SCREAMING at them, cursing at them, saying "You're Full Of Sh*t!" and threatening legal action immediately! My friend is begging through tears that they want to make this right; begging him to STOP yelling and panicking them. The mover's felt so bad and embarrassed overhearing Paul act like a jack*ss on the phone that one even offered to pay the remainder, but my friend, still shook up and in tears, said that they wanted to make this right and moved what little money they have around to pay as much as they could. We're ALL struggling out here, and the movers def deserve to get paid. I'm sure the dude with the hurt back needs more money and easier hours, but the company is working him to the bone. But to have this dude Paul berate and coerce my friend, spitting venom over the phone? Shouting until my friend is begging in tears for him to stop? I'm never gonna forget that. And this company needs to make things right. The job took long because of Dispatch's mistakes. They sent 1.5 guys to do a 3 man job, without the agreed upon equipment no less. If you want a stress-free experience: steer clear. If you want some jerk from New York taking out his daddy issues on you: you've come to the right place.
