I love fried chicken. Who doesn't? When you see a place titled "worldwide fried chicken," don't you instantly feel compelled to go and try it? Well if you're expecting chicken that has worldwide recognition, this place is probably not the place for you. I ordered a two piece that came with a choice of sauce, side, and a biscuit. I chose two thighs, onion rings, and spicy honey. The chicken was OKAY. It was fried well, but nothing in particular set it apart from any other standard corner store or grocery store fried chicken. But the onion rings were great! Both of these were made so much better by dipping them in the spicy honey, which was more or less honey mixed with cayenne - but honestly the best part of this meal. They forgot my biscuit so I can't even review it. Note: everything in this area is self checkout so you order then scan your I took off a star because they forgot my biscuit and they kept angrily yelling "Nan" instead of "Nate" so I had no idea it was my order. Hmmm, not too happy with this place. The chicken was tasty (but a bit cold) but the staff was a nightmare. Beeing the only costumer, and a tourist, you expect a bit of attention. Aspeccially with there 'modern' was of handeling service. You don't order, you use the Ipad. And olthough the only staffmember behindd the counter has NOTHING to do, and she had a hugh stack of pre-done chicken behind here, when I had a question about the menu, she pointed out to the Ipad and said 'its all in there'! I got their fried chicken sandwich with cabbage slaw and pickles it was delicious. The sandwich h wasn't warm but the fries were really hot! It was supposed to be "spicy waffle fries" they for the waffle right but it wasn't that spicy imo. For spicy waffle fries it was pretty expensive at $6 but the sandwich is worth it it tasted really really good. I just wish the chicken in the sandwich was as warm as my waffle fries! The employees are helpful. I haven't traveled at Newark airport and everything is high tech here. You order your food at the machine and pay at the register which accepts both cash and card. But only accepts cash if a person is working. Newark International Airport has a lot of restaurants here that accept card more than cash. read more

I usually eat here because even if it seems it's expensive you are in the airport and the chicken is good. Service is sometimes good and other times average. But unfortunately this time will probably be my last, probably the worst service you could get. I ordered the tenders with onion rings with honey mustard. Waiting for my order and the guy was step aside and pay for your orders don't crowd the counter, I said I paid just waiting and he said then you should know that I'm not talking to you. When my order was ready I stepped forward and he was telling a lady no biscuits because he didn't put them in the oven, not the place wasn't busy and the chicken and sides were stacked high. I went to pick mine up but there was a bun and I told him I didn't order a sandwich, he said no biscuits because I didn't makes them and I said I don't want the bun he said tHats fine throw in the garbage as you touched it. He said you ordered honey mustard and I said yes, he said no honey mustard what else. At this point he could tell I wasn't happy and said I made the announcement about the biscuits so you can do whatever with the bun. The tenders were room temp and ok, not good, not bad. If you in the rush and hungry dont go there.i order 2 piece of chiken with 3 piece of tender chiken. They took more than 40minute getting it ready, so my fligth was asking to bord when they give me the food, so guess what my son and i were hungry all the fligth because by common sense we can not eat that smelly chiken on a airplane. i was so pissed. futher the Cook look like he is not happy working there please hire people ready like the job there is a lot unemployment and He was doing everything like slow motion and when i was asking for my order they answered is no ready because the chiken tender is on the Fire, please a fast food place should not bring frozen tender out untill the customer ask it, should be have some preparation done before so the order can be fast. it took them more tha 40 minute chiken tender is awful. to finish off i got stomach upset. read more

The food was okay but customer service needs a HUGE improvement. I've been traveling a lot lately so I've spent a good amount of time at Newark's Terminal C over the past month. If you visit any of the restaurants in the food court area, you place your order on a tablet at the restaurant and it prints out your order. You take that to a central spot to pay and then pick up your order. So I placed my order, paid, and came back. The lady behind the counter called out my order number and as I went to pick it up, she asked me for a receipt. I showed her the original order slip, but I hadn't gotten a printed receipt after paying because 1) why waste paper 2) I don't need one. Of the several other restaurants and a coffee shop in the very same food court area, I haven't needed a receipt over the past month. Once a customer pays, they are supposed to get a notification on their end that the order was paid for. They aren't even supposed to start preparing the order until they get the paid notification. So, no need for a printed receipt. The lady behind the counter went on to suggest that I was trying to get a free meal!! The payment center is actually right next to this place so she probably even saw me paying. The way she was acting and yelling at me was absolutely ridiculous. The food is just okay anyway - and ridiculously overpriced (I mean the whole airport is, but this is far beyond the neighboring spots). The only reason I chose this place is because it was the only place not serving breakfast at 10am (I've been up since 3am and well beyond breakfast). read more

Less taste and quality than a TV dinner. Although that may be unfair to TV dinners. The chicken was as dry as any I've ever eaten, so it was nearly impossible to swallow. The mashed potatoes, which I ordered because they were out of fries and mac/cheese, reminded me of the ones from the grade school cafeteria. This was the WORST friend chicken that I have ever had in my life. The chicken is so bland and tastes like nothing but grease. They ran out of the side that I ordered originally and instead of letting me know, the continued to skip over my order number until I asked what was going on. This was a horrible experience. The chicken sandwich had a larger piece of chicken, but it was cold, room temp at best. It was a serious issue just going through the line.... first order from an iPad, ( wait as there is no one there to tell you that ) print out a receipt. Take a receipt the the payment station, wait as there is no one to tell you that you have to pay first. ( that means wait some more ). After we pay we are told they have no mashed potatoes.... Frys and onion rings both cold. A sandwich, two pieces of chicken and 2 sides was $37.00ish. I told the lady that finally helped us that this was a horrible experience, and was told that she gets that a lot. Shame on United Airlines and this place. This is my first ever negative review.
