Bulgogi/teriyaki house with some nice options for quick lunch. For is prepared within a decent time. Comes with side of lettuce onion and sauce (spicy mayo/spicy korean). The chicken and bulgogi beef were really delicious, not over cooked. Served on top of rice. There are street parkings right in front of the store. Few booths available to dine in.

I ordered delivery through Uber eats for a Saturday lunch The portions are good to fill you up for sure. My tastebuds were happy with the bibimbap and the beef bulgogi & spicy pork bowl. The veggies for the bibimbap were great quality and fresh. Side of Fried rice has the regular fried rice flavor, a bit salty, but still pretty good. Not bad at all. Can't really say anything bad about the food. The flavor and quality was there for sure. Other than the fried rice and dumplings being "average" (for my taste buds). But again, I have no complaints really. 5 stars.

For a fast Korean BBQ restaurant, they were not very fast. We ordered our food and waited quite a while despite being the only people in the restaurant. The meat and sides were ok, not great. Probably wouldn't come back.

Experienced foodies (as myself) know when they are biting down on lower-grade foods like steak meat the second it chews like rubber, not because it's overcooked but because it's not lean and disproportionately fat and/or gristly in texture-- and no amount of sauce can hide these infractions. Not impressed. Full stop.

So when you see spicy on an Asian food menu that normally means you're in for a red lips, eye watering and flushed cheeks experience (expect Chinese fast food). Thai and Vietnamese food has taught me well when it comes to respecting the word spicy on a menu, so naturally I stayed away from the Spicy Pepper Wings at Bulgogi Zip. Today I put on my big boy pants and went full Spicy Pepper wings! With my cup of milk at the ready I picked up my first wing and just went at it. Like racoons gnawing away at a dumpster of food I went full beast mode and put a hurtin' on the fattest juiciest drumette of the bunch. My mouth was on fire, my lips were red and and I had literal smoke coming out of my mouth however not from the spice level but the fact that these were fresh out of the fryer. After I drank water to cool the burn in my mouth I realized the wings weren't that hot, they were more on a level of medium hot buffalo wings waiting until they cooled off a bit I had the most delicious fried wings of my life. They were truly euphoric. I savored ever bite and of course I licked my fingers clean, I wasn't going to let that goodness be wasted on a napkin. No sir I was riding high for my lunch today and nothing was going to stand in the way. So good I forgot to take a picture. So here's what's left... I need a nap

It's Corona time...what can you say I haven't really been out in a while, cooking and snacking at home. But after a 3 mile walk in Branch Brook Park, (which is CLOSED btw) Anywho... So I just didn't feel like cooking and had a taste for Asian food and found this place. The food was decent, worthy of going back, I guess. Of course it was freshly prepared and hot when I picked it up. However this didn't really taste like Korean food that I have tasted before. Very BASIC and underwhelming. I ordered the pork bulgogi bowl and was not impressed. It was just OK. The shrimp teriyaki was so incredibly SALTY and inedible. But the soy garlic wings were very good and fried hard just like I like my wings. Cucumber kimchi was delicious. All in all, hey, it fed us and made us full but not really satisfied. I would return, but not going out of my way for this.

Soy onions, cabbage and broccoli on the side with sweet and spicy Korean sauce. Spicy pork and beef (bulgogi) combo with white rice.

The dish I ordered was a spicy pork and bulgogi (beef) combo that came with a nice little veggie side dish. I don't normally do spicy but with the beef combo, it was a perfect balance. Also, please try the soy garlic wings which is their specialty dish. I got some to-go. Service was on point.

Ordered three things: 1) marinated crabs, small size (5/5). Always a must-get here. 2) ddukbaegi bulgogi (4.5/5) - Thinly sliced prime marinated beef ribeye casserole with rice cake and glass noodle and mushroom served in a sizzling hot pot. Really flavorful and so good to have on a cold day. 3) ahjae ppyo jjim (4.5/5) - Braised prime beef meat bones in soy reduction with carrots, radish, dates, chestnut, rice cake and glass noodles. We got non-spicy. It came in a HUGE bowl. Definitely meant to be shared with a group. Took leftovers home and it was still yummy the next day mixed with knife-cut noodles I had at home.

Wow! What a new experience for us! Means I have seen Hot POT places many times across the shores,…read moreand though they don't give a vibe from outside (IMO), but once you step inside, it's a whole different world. Kearny KPOT has almost ~13K reviews on Google with a 4.9 rating, which means just wow! So we decided to go there instead of our nearby Parsippany location. The first thing that disappointed us was the waiting time. They only take reservations for parties of 6+, and we ended up waiting about 70 minutes, with a kid along with us. Since we had already driven 35 minutes, we decided to stick it out. We got the A2 table. Our server, Pickel Rick, explained the whole Hot Pot + BBQ concept. We chose both options together--and the whole table has to agree on the same setup (so one person can't do only hot pot while another does only BBQ...Come on, they are smart too Hot pot was $32 and +$5 more and you can have both= means $37 per person + tax... The BBQ grill lets you control the heat, and the induction keeps your hot pot soup warm. Ordering is all done through a tablet on the table. This is an all-you-can-eat thing, any meat (Pork, Beef, seafood, chicken, Lamb) for BBQ... and you can increase/decrease the temperature of the BBQ. So it's all sorted out! Induction is there to keep your soup/pot warm, order any type of noodles (Ramn-Rice-Pho to add in your soup with all veggies, dumplings, and whatnot, so keep ordering from the tab they give you to order. They have a big selection of meats, seafood, veggies, and sauces. The quality is decent, and the food comes out quickly. The hotpot broth has good flavor, and grilling the meats at the table is enjoyable. It's basically a "cook your own food" style, so it's fun if you like that kind of thing. It was a fun experience, ordering chicken/prawn/jumbo prawns/ lamb/ dumplings = putting it in soup or into BBQ platter... some got less cooked, some were well, and some I am gonna call "well done" We were there for about 2 hours, which is actually their time limit. They even mentioned you get a small refund if you leave early (first time hearing that!). Also, if you're celebrating a birthday with a group of 6+, the birthday person eats free. That's a nice perk! Great, hearing this first time... There is also a sauce bar station - for all sauces, fried rice, Fries, and Fruits Service can get a bit slow when the place is packed--we had to wait for forks/spoons at one point. But overall, it's a fun place to go with friends or family, especially if you like trying something different.

There is a reason why this place is my go to place for OG Korean food…read more Authentic, flavorful, genuine and generous; they serve some of the best food in the area. There is always a wait, and clientele is a mix of older Korean looking for taste of home (like me) and new younger crowd who knows a good thing when they taste it. We ordered, pigs feet (everyone gets it, it's their signature dish), pork neck casserole (they don't skimp, lots of meat chunks and good flavors from wild sesame), bone broth soup/grilled fish combo (also a crowd favorite) and bulgogi in broth (it pleased our finicky eater, and they served a lot of meat instead of fillers). Kimchi sides were a mix of aged deep/sour kind (right up my alley). As for other comments about the 'bland' bone broth, it's supposed to be bland and they give you a number of condiments to suit your taste. It's BYOB, so bring your beer soju or somaks and join the crowd. Priced fair and with generous portions. We will be back again.
