The rotating teaching team has continued to point me to Jesus. Since my original post my family has grown to include a 2 year old son and the Family Ministry program at this church has been amazing, including not only the leaders, but the many faithful volunteers who care for my son each weekend. We also bring him into the closing worship set and he now sings some of the songs on his own around our home throughout the week. Certainly it is not perfect, but it is a place that treats The Lord as real. It is a place where people are intently seeking to know him and who love him honestly. The worship is the main focus and it is simple and done well. The preaching is as good as I've ever heard. The senior pastor's understanding of the Bible and ability to communicate it and bring it alive is one of the best parts. My favorite part is what is available for my family. The children's ministry is a good as they come. These people love my kids an amazing way. I cannot imagine anyone else teaching my kids about Jesus more genuinely.

I have attended several masses…read morehere and its amazing how much variety we have in terms of our mass selections we have a Latin,English,Espanol and Vietnamese masses followed by the Italian Mass which is held once a month, In terms of music the Latin Mass here is truly epic and really takes the Mass celebration up to the next level. Some of the people at the Latin Mass are definitely characters and almost everyone takes at the TLM their faith seriously. In short Saint John the Baptist is a great place full of interesting people.

The Lighthouse also provides a Hispanic service usually following the main sermons. The Church also provides free clothing on Friday 9am to 11am. The weekends are great there's food provided after each morning and afternoon sermons. And it's really a great hot meal... Fortunitly they feed alot of the local homeless and in my opinion saving lives. They also have the sermons broadcast live on stream. You really feel the Holly Spirit in the Lighthouse. If you really want to be around great Christians this is the Church.
