Ronnie owns the business and has been in the industry for decades. He has one crew of dedicated employees who provided superior demolition and installation. In addition, they cared for our property like they owned it. Once we saw a portion of it installed, we had a small, last-minute change. They were happy to make that change without any additional fees because they wanted us to be happy. I've never worked with such a flexible and dedicated contractor! You will not be disappointed if you go with North County Pavers!

His foreman, Pompeyo is excellent at making sure all work is done according to plan. He not only supervises but works right along with his crew. The other five - Marcel, Roki, Niemo, Jose, and Daniel all do excellent work with whatever the day involves: demo, drains, electrical lines in place, grading, paver bed, and then the beautiful pavers. Their supplies are all A+; I like how Ronnie makes suggestions along the way such as brass drains covers. That really made the pavers pop! This is the first time we have ever used pavers. I'm so glad we chose North County Pavers, referred to us by a friend in Carmel Valley. Thanks to all for an awesome job.

He explained to me that they only provide this service to clients that they have provided turf for. He then went on to refer me to two landscape companies near my home where we could purchase the infill and the broom to do the maintenance ourselves. He willingly spent about ten minutes helping me, and was so friendly and nice. When we are ready to have more landscape work done, I will definitely be calling Install It Direct.

I am posting this update as a severe safety warning to anyone considering Installing Direct. Since…read moremy initial review, a catastrophic and life-threatening incident has occurred. The fire pit installed by this company exploded into my girlfriend's face. We had an independent professional company come out to inspect the unit and the gas line. Their findings were shocking: the gas connection was completely loose. This negligence allowed gas to build up inside the fire pit structure, which caused it to explode upon ignition. Because of the physical injuries sustained and the absolute gross negligence regarding a gas installation, we are now taking this company to litigation. If you value the safety of your home and your family, stay far away from this business. A "loose connection" on a gas line is not just a mistake--it is a deadly hazard. We are currently in the process of legal action to hold them accountable for the damage and trauma they have caused. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.

Words cannot express how impressed my wife and I were with Majestic Hardscapes. But we'll try...and…read morethe photos should help provide some context. After becoming first-time homeowners last year, we quickly built a wish list and began prioritizing projects. Solar and pool repair were must haves with summer approaching, and next on the list was getting rid of a decomposing wooden outdoor staircase with ridiculously oversized and hazardous wood block steps. After consulting with Bryan, we immediately felt confident in his approach and began a fun collaboration to update our property. As the project got underway it became apparent that a simple replacement with a different material wasn't sufficient. No, we imagined something grander -- which kept evolving -- and resulted in what can only be described as a work of art on our property where dirt and rotting wood once stood. Bryan's crew -- Benancio and company -- are a world-class team of builders and problem solvers. To this day, my wife and I can't believe our good fortune that we had this crew all to ourselves for the roughly month of time that the grand staircase, hundreds of feet of new pathway, additional patio expansion with a new gate, and front courtyard gazebo garden took for them to complete. We miss them! We won't miss them for too long, though, as we 100% plan on booking Majestic Hardscapes again for ambitious future ideas we dream up here at home around the property. Thank you for your care and concern for our home, guys. You are truly masters of your craft!

Not only are they super humble and professional but…read morethey always informed us of the process on how the work would be done, if there would be any issues, and any suggestions regarding future plans. Even though the quote was not the lowest, it was reasonably priced and they were the only contractors that answered a lot of my concerns. I had several quotes from numerous contractors and all; expect Majestic Hardscape, just give me a price. This was concerning to me because we live on a hill and the side of our yard slopes. Every contractor just suggested laying concrete to the way it slopes so water would run off the hill. Bryan was the only one who suggested that this will need further attention, such as a retaining wall in the future otherwise it will just get worse over time. They were able to level the concrete the way we wanted and recommended us to eventually level the rest of the yard in the future. They even went out of their way to take some of our old stacking bricks and used them as a temp retaining wall to aid the sloped yard. I highly recommend Bryan and his team and look forward to working with them again in the future, thanks again Bryan!

Even before construction began, their back office called just to welcome us to the family and ensure we had everything we needed. What really made the experience for us was how the project managers Adaya and Roni were both incredibly warm, personable, and genuinely great people to work with. When Adaya (who sold us the job) had to go out of town, the transition to Roni was completely seamless while Adaya still stayed in the loop remotely. It proved how stellar the whole team really is. The crew finished the work in just a few quick days and was so helpful. They were also deeply respectful regarding noise and clean-up, which we really appreciated with a newborn at home. We'll absolutely use them again!

A plainly sexist implication. I don't know what kind of customer Designs 4 You is used to dealing with, but I would never agree to purchase something as large as a $230,000 addition based on a quick iPad sales pitch. These decisions are made carefully with one's family, not something to be pressured into. In the future, listen to your potential customers' price concerns, hear their needs (yes, price-per-square-foot is indeed important), and do not comment on their marriage.

We wanted to replace our 15 year-old artificial turf with new turf. We did not need a new base just the turf. We interviewed six different companies and eventually narrowed it down to two. We picked EVO because we liked their turf sample the most and the guarantees that their sales person, Mike, gave us that any issues would be resolved in a timely manner. May 28, 2026 installation: the necessary 20 foot seam was very noticeable and the turf edge along the walk way was so high that the black base webbing showed. June 22: after several texts/messages, Lalo and team tried to unsuccessfully fix the seam. The edging was lower, but they failed to grade it correctly, and it left a noticeable hump. August 11 after many texts to Mike: a representative, Zack met with husband. He called husband OCD, said we had opted for a discounted installation, and that the turf we picked was sub standard. He was resistant to do anything until husband told him we would not pay the balance of the installation. FYI: We researched our turf selection (Veridian91) and found that it was considered high-quality and highly rated. Our installation cost less because we did not have to pay for removal of existing grass and installation of a base. Mid August: in response to a final invoice, we informed them we intended to deduct a certain amount of money from the balance. Mid August: we found they had not used seam tape which they considered an option that we had not been aware of. Seam tape had been used in our original installation, so we assumed (wrongly) that it would also be used again. Ultimately, Zack agreed that they would add seam tape to the seam and fix the hump. September 1: the installer, Lalo added seam tape to the seam and regraded the hump. The result is acceptable. There are a couple remaining small issues that we have decided to fix ourselves because we are just done with this company. May 28 to September 1: over three months, dealing with this company that guaranteed issues would be addressed in a timely manner with no problem. Wish we had gone with our second choice.
