Shay was straightforward and reasonable with design, budget, and schedule from day one. The best part - Shay and his crew finished our project in just around a month. When we started looking for a contractor, we looked at least a half of a dozen different options. The main difference between Century and the other contractors we considered was that they had pre-fabricated cabinets that were able to be customized to fit our needs, while others needed to spend more time and money to build cabinets from scratch. Having remodeled our previous homes' kitchen to similar cabinets, I can say that the quality was on par with the custom ordered cabinets we ordered before. I was very happy with the trade-off as this made the project move very quickly. Once most of our designs and choices were made, and work started, Shay was always available for feedback, and we were able to tweak any small thing we wanted to change, and correct any small discrepancies in what turned out versus what we expected. There were no huge surprises in our budget, and they were always willing to help pick up an appliance or exchange a light switch. We contacted Chaz and Jeannette after both the contractor and flood mitigation companies recommended by our insurance company dropped the ball. Titaan came in and fixed the mess left by those companies and the pipe leak. They refloored our entire bottom level, remodeled the bathroom, had custom stair treads made, and stayed in touch with our insurance company. Most importantly, they finished the job before our Christmas Eve party. I almost wish we could have another pipe leak so we could have them back to remodel another bathroom. Seriously, they do great work. At the very least, call them out for an estimate. They have excellent communication as well, we knew what was happening at every phase of the project.

I hired Imperial Remodels to build a single-car garage on my property, replacing an existing concrete pad. The project was contracted to start on March 1, 2024, and finish by April 1, 2024, for $21,000. I paid a $10,000 cash deposit on March 13, 2024, but the contractor did not provide a receipt for the cash deposit. After signing the contract and accepting my deposit, the contractor told me someone would begin removing the concrete pad within about a week. Shortly after, someone arrived with an excavator, destroyed, and removed the concrete pad. They left behind an uneven dirt surface, which has created a serious safety hazard for me. Due to mobility issues, I now struggle to safely get in and out of my car. Despite repeated attempts to contact the contractor to discuss next steps and complete the work, he has ignored all my calls and messages. On one occasion, he agreed to visit my property to discuss the project but canceled the meeting and never followed up. My daughter attempted to help me by posting a review on their business page to warn others. In response, the business owner finally reached out, acknowledged their wrongdoing, and agreed to reimburse me the full deposit plus interest. However, they got Yelp to remove my daughter's post and are unreachable again. They have still not provided any reimbursement for the lost money or the destruction of my property. I was primarily in contact with Mike Isak (206-909-8125), but his colleague, Karina Momotyuk, was also involved. Another phone number associated with them is (253-409-6956). As a result, I am out my $10,000 deposit, unable to safely park my car, and left with no resolution. He has abandoned this job, caused destruction of my property, and has a complete lack of remorse or professionalism--particularly in taking advantage of someone in my position. Do not do work with this company as they pray on people.

I initially had chosen for the shower a slate tile. I appreciated that Noemi's crew explained the positive and negative of using a slate tile in the shower. Through their feedback, I wisely chose porcelain tile for both shower walls and have been very pleased with the outcome! They also added frosted windows for both showers to allow more natural light. New vanities, sinks, toilets, and Congoleum flooring was added for both bathrooms. I am very pleased with how the plumbing, tiling, flooring, and drywalling were completed. Also, everything was done to code and passed inspection with the City of Tacoma. Great level of professionalism and timeliness. I was kept up to date with what we would expect along the timeline of events. Second project was converting the attached garage of our home into a family room. They knocked this project out of the park!! The former garage floor was leveled prior to the bamboo wood flooring being installed. The walls had insulation added to code, new drywall, electrical, heating ventilation, two windows, texturing to the ceiling and walls, and insulating the exterior walls which had not been insulated when the slab was poured for the former garage. I am extremely happy with how this project was completed as well as what we have for the price and added value of square footage to our home. We wouldn't change a thing with how this project came together! Also, everything passed inspection with the City of Tacoma. A true garage to finished square footage conversion, done right! Finally, I had a small roofing project completed off of our roof deck. I had received a bid from a large roofing company in Tacoma and CJK Legacy came in with their bid considerably less and I was not upsold on unnecessary work. Daniel who completed the project also identified some dry rot and replaced the appropriate framing. I am very pleased with how this was completed and the shingles that were used match the shingles of my home on the upper roof. I highly recommend CJK Legacy for the quality of their craftsmanship, professionalism, as well as their fair and honest price. Communication is also excellent with Noemi and her team.
