This experience was from last year, but I'm looking for another body repair shop for my 2018 HR-V, and I know darn well I won't be taking it back here. TL;DR: great customer service and intake time at first became extra costs because they didn't perform a service I'd asked for, then they tried to charge me extra. Roughly around June of last year, I talked on the phone with these guys about getting my passenger side view mirror replaced, as well as some dents and chips on the front fender. Note: only this mirror has a turn lane assist camera. They gave me polite and quick responses, so I brought my car in, and it stayed there for about 3 weeks. A little long but I usually got responses: the computer stuff for the mirror I mentioned they had to source from Baierl Honda, which they didn't know when it'd come in, and it took a while, but they repaired it. Then I come to get my car, pay for it, but hours later, I indicate a right turn, and the normal camera view doesn't pop up on the LCD. It says "alignment not adjusted", or something. I bring it back after a couple days or so, and they fix it, but go to charge me an extra $100 or so because it "wasn't in the original estimate". This frustrated me. I tried to tell them, and ended up getting my dad on the horn with them so they'd realize their mistake. Although this place worked with my insurance, the entire experience was exhausting. Pretty sure I was being talked down to because of my lack of experience with cars, hopefully not because I'm a woman, but who knows. Wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

This place is HORRIBLE. We bought our car in 2020 from here that was a good experience. Dec 2025 we had our car towed to them to see what was going it was almost like our car gave up on life. So days of them having it and several calls to them but very little communication from them a lot of no return calls from them we are finally told we owe $400+ for the labor and change 1 spark plug but not all 3, we are also told the car needs a new engine and will cost over$14,0000.00 yes over 14 grand. We told them do not touch another thing on. My husband picked the car up and we took it else where. Everyone was checked on and in the engine. A camera was used and they could not find what wright was talking about and needing a new engine. The car is running fine without a new engine all that has been done to fix the issue is all new spark plug.. I will never deal with Wright Auto again. 1 star is even to many to give! I finally received my final opinion on my car. Let me stress the importance of having someone trustworthy repair your car. This experience has been a nightmare. Please find an auto body shop who holds themselves accountable for the work they do Upon inspection of my cars front bumper, the mechanic realized the rivets were never replaced in the car - which is resulting in the front bumper falling off. I did review this company before, but after taking my car to another repair shop, he informed me I should post two relevant photos. The first is the car in the parking lot of Wright Collision and the front grill off. The second is the front grill falling off of the car. (the very part they should have repaired) Again, we have had this car years before with no issues until this auto body claimed they repaired it. Superficial scratching not dents would not result in the front grill/bumper falling off of a car. read more

This is addressed to Wright Collision: I placed a call last week to set up an appointment for some body work from an insurance claim on my vehicle. Was told to email the claim to them and they would order parts and get back to me. No response for three days. Placed a call Monday, the individual I spoke with isn't there. Called Tuesday, he's with a customer he'll call you back. No response. Called and left a voicemail on Wednesday, no call back. No call today. No email response. Wright Collision and Tom like to not call back and apparently aren't interested in conducting business. I'm not understanding how businesses continue to operate but don't want to work with the customer that is trying to give them money? I recommend contacting another facility for your auto body needs. read more

All I can say is that I had a very bad experience with the sales manager at their GMC facility and in the end he did not do what he was supposed to do. Every time I see him their at his work (taking my car in for service), I remind him that he stole $1,200 from me. read more

Three years ago my rare Iszuzu Vehicross to Wright because they used to sell and service them. They were asked to do a timing belt change. I thought ahead and ordered the part before I took it in. Total of 2 days to complete. It went to their Lotus mechanic. I couldn't have been happier. I will use them in the future. Thanks guys and girls. read more

I clipped a high curbstone and tore my right rear corner panel loose on my 2013 Sentra. I duct taped it, went to Wright Auto Body in Wexford. They looked it over, informed me it was just a broken clip, and would cost me $125. I took it back a couple weeks later after the part arrived, dropped it off the evening before. Next morning they called before 10:30am to tell me it was done, at the exact price quoted. Picked it up, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that in addition to the repair, they had washed my salt-encrusted car. A simple thing, but it was a nice courtesy, and much appreciated. Took my Hyundai SUV in for a collision issue that only amounted to about $1000, no body work. Very simple fix that should have not taken a full 8 days. Very limited contact From the dealership. I had to call at the end of the week to see if they even had parts. It was estimated to be done on a Monday and still wasn't done by end of day but I never received a call. Finally went to pick it up on a Tuesday and the work they did looked nice and the car drove very well. Major issue with a discrepancy in the estimated amount and what they asked me to pay. Not sure if that's normal, but the guy upfront reassured me they checked with my insurance company and that it was OK. I did call my insurance company and they told me that there was never any contact from the body shop about the difference from the estimate. Good work but very loose practices in the shop. read more

I told Wright Hyundai that I had 2 months left on my lease. They financed me, took my old car and gave me a new one. I got BILLED for the old car because they claim that I never mentioned that car to them. WHY would I give them my car if I would still have to PAY for it!? That literally makes NO sense when I had other dealers offering to cover the car! Plus there are pull ahead deals so STOP IT. I filed a compliant with the BBB and they replied with a flat out lie saying that I TOLD him that I never discussed my car with them. There is a recorded call between Hyundai Finance, myself & Lenny that completely disputes that statement. They sent a check for half, but I think it's because they KNOW they're wrong but don't want to accept full responsibility for dropping the ball. So far, my sister, her fiance, one friend & THREE of my colleagues have purchased a total of 3 SUV's, 2 pick ups & a car since this incident - they all live near a Wright Automotive Group dealership but have not purchased from or even visited them because of the way they handled this issue after we've purchased FOUR CARS from them! The police Sgt. stopped by my office today because he saw me pull up in the new car & what'dya know - his lease will be up soon too! He said, well I'M not paying for 2 cars so let me know... if they don't fix your issue, I won't go there either. #Solidarity I have WAY too many friends with money who buy cars often. They got wheel off but not back on.. $99 bucks later for set of 5 lugnuts. Took my Saab, 2011, 9-5 to them with an "apparent" transmission problem. I fully explained my story: car ran fine, parked it, the next day, although it started, the car would not move forward or backward, the previous week the check engine light came on/off several times. Josh called me saying the transmission was bad; price to fix was $10,000. Never even cleared his throat. I had my doubts, codes were not cited, and three years earlier I had a similar "apparent" transmission problem 3 years ago that turned out to be a $25 relay. I told Wright about that experience. I took the car to Aamco in East Liberty. Two hours later they called, the codes suggest an accumulator valve problem and suggested I replace two accumulator valves ( intake and exhaust) and change the oil. Price was about $350. They did it, and the car has never run better. Dec. 3, 2018 I wrote to the service manager with a copy to Cory asking them to review what they did for me and what Aamco did and comment to me, either by email or phone. We had gone thru 7 dealerships and were given poor service at everyone of them as we were looking to replace our Yukon Denali that was totaled by another driver. Not only did Jared McManus the sales manager help us and Matt Bassaro but they called an kept us updated on the progress of the new truck as we ordered it with them and Jared went above and beyond by looking for other discounts as all the other dealerships did not tell us about any discounts even though we asked and told us the price is the price and the other dealerships never called us back. Do NOT trust any of the sales people and especially the management of Wright Automotive group. I was lied to by the sales rep and the finance manager. I had a problem with the warranty they talked me into buying and requested that a $100.00 dollar fee be waived. The controller for Wright told be and I quote "You signed a contact too bad" He even admitted that the sales rep was caught lying to other customers!!! This how they treat the customer there. I have bought vehicles there and always used the service at the dealership. NEVER again. Read anything they want you to sign because they will lie to you to get you to buy. read more

I purchased a preowned Nissan on Oct 31,2016. The entire transaction was rushed and even had the co-borrower on the loan sign the documents the following day since they were not able to visit the same time as me. In hindsight, this was so they could date everything 10/31/2016 and use it towards that months sales quota. I was permitted, even encouraged, to take possessions the vehicle that evening, without the co-borrowers signature. As directed, I drove it home that same evening. Only one key was available and was told the previous owner had the second key and would be bringing it in. At which time it would be returned to me. I was told by the salesperson, Zack, that if the previous owner could not produce they key that Wright Automotive Group would have on made for me because "they are expensive". I allow 2 weeks to pass and no word about the key. I leave a Voicemail for Zack. No response. Two more weeks go by, and no call back so I call again. No response. I called the dealership directly and explain what is going on to the person that answers the phone. She tells me that I have to speak with Zak since it was an agreement I had with him.I explained that he's not returning my calls and ask if there someone else I can speak with. She says I would need to speak with Zak and put me through to his voicemail. I leave it there voicemail. No response. At this point I have other things to do with my life so the key situation kind of slipped my mind for a while. I take the car in for an oil change at another service provider, and when asked about the second key it refreshes my memory. I call Wright automotive again, am put through to Zach's voicemail again, I get no response again. At this point I've resolved I am not going to get the second key from Wright automotive after all and inquire through another Nissan dealership about having a key created. Zach was right, the key runs approximately $125. I decided not to have it made, And make a fifth and call and leave a fifth voicemail for Zack to call me. No response. Fast forward to earlier this week, I receive a happy anniversary for buying your car email which is generically signed by the general manager of the automotive group, Bill Majersky. It states directly in the email that if I have any questions or concerns I am to call or reply to this email. I decide to reply to the email with my key situation, and the fact that their sales person made promises they did not honor, and refused to return any of the several voicemails I have left over the course of the past year. I ask about the promise of the second key be addressed and honored. We are now post 72 hours from the time I sent my email with no response. I will have to assume that right automotive group has no interest in maintaining or servicing their clients once the ink on the loan documents is dry. While I do love my Nissan, I will never purchase another vehicle from this automotive group again. read more

This is the worst group for customer service. I have been a customer for over 10 years and found a great car I was willing to buy. My travel situations restricted me from coming in person but my mother went out of her way to look at the car and offer a hold. The salesman Rob Powers told her that they did not do holds and there was no chance the car would sell between the time she looked at it and the 4 days it would take me to come in person. I get a text from Monica two days before I am out to come in saying some other person was coming in to look at the car. Again I had requested a hold and offered to pay above asking. Come to find the car had sold a day earlier and zero people were concerned about the atrocious circumstances or customer service. Avoid this dealership at all cost. They don't care about loyalty and they certainly don't care about making situations right. After getting hung up on three times I'm still waiting for an apology. read more

Awful. They will say anything to get your vehicle in their shop. They were supposed to call me to let me know how long the repair would take. Had to keep calling until I could reach Tom. Not good. Had to return another time due to being out of town the next week. Tom kept telling me it was fine. He of course was not there when I had to come back. No one knew what the situation was and the red haired guy (just for description purposes) was irritated and difficult to deal with. Just wanted to get me out the door without figuring anything out. I did not have unrealistic expectations or excessive questions, and he simply preceded to tell me he'd never buy a car without a warranty, which was a "stupid decision". I recently purchased a used car from Wright Hyundai. Everything was fine until I asked about the warranty. My sales rep could not tell me what the warranty programs were and the finance guy also would not give me any details (over the phone) about the warranty until I was ready to buy. So the day I purchased the car, I was in the finance guy's office where he told me about the various warranties and how much they were. All of the info was a lot for me to digest and I really did not want to make an instant decision that was going to cost me a lot of money. I asked this finance guy how long I could have to make a decision regarding the warranty and he said I had to make the decision right now. I really did not want to make a decision right then and there....until he said "you can cancel your warranty at any time." So I hesitantly went with the least expensive warranty thinking I would read everything over and decide if it was something I really wanted. Part of me did not want any warranty at all. After reading the contract I realized that it was going to cost me much more than what the finance guy stated and I still was not sure it was coverage that I would benefit from. The very next day I call to cancel what I had signed up for and the finance guy said..."you can cancel this but you are still going to have to pay for it!!!" Needless to say, I was livid! I then called this finance guy's boss, who also was not very customer service oriented, and he said there was nothing he could do for me!!! I then drove back to the dealership to see the finance guy (who knew I was coming to see him). I was intercepted by the sales manager who said the finance guy was all booked up with appointments! So I asked this sales manager if he could answer my questions about the various warranty plans and he said he was not knowledgeable enough to do so! I then called the district manager for Wright Automotive and left him a message explaining my situation and that I was giving him the opportunity to turn an unhappy customer into a happy customer. I have never heard back for this manager. I have never been treated so horribly by sales and customer service people in my entire life. It appears that they are deceptive and liars. They are not interested in servicing a customer after the sale. And since when do you pay for a service after you have cancelled it???!!! It appears that they are only in concerned about their interests and not the customers. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS AUTOMOTIVE GROUP TO ANYONE!!! read more

Caution! You don't want to go to this service department. I took my vehicle to Wright Automotive Group to have safety recall 14574 as issued in accordance with Federal law. The safety recall involved replacement of the engine's front valve cover and front valve cover gasket. The repair somehow went wrong and Wright Auto ruined the engine. Wright Automotive told me that they would find a replacement engine with roughly the same mileage. I was provided a vehicle until repairs were complete on my car. After a week, I was informed that the repairs were completed but warranty would only cover parts for 30 days if anything should go wrong with the used engine. I would not accept that and through negotiation the dealership agreed to give a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty on parts only and labor for the first 30 days only should anything go wrong with the used engine. This was the most horrifying experience that any customer could have to go through. This establishment took a car in showroom condition and totally blew up the engine. Then they gave me back a "Frankenstein" car and didn't even want to warranty their work. I have had the car back for about a month and I notice that the lifters are tapping like mad. Thanks Wright for taking a perfectly good car and screwing it up! Oh, and when I asked to talk to Mr. Wright, the service manager told me that I went up the chain of command as far as I could. Such a shame. Take my advice: DON'T TAKE AS MUCH AS A BICYCLE TO THESE PEOPLE! Terrible technicians and absolutely the most horrible service department on the planet. read more

Bought a 2018 Genesis G80 and it could not have been a better experience from start to finish. Randy in sales was patient and professional. No pressure whatsoever and no "what can i do to get you to buy today" which I hate. After I test drove the car I went home, did my research on price discounts and trade in value, reached out to Randy and gave him the numbers. There was absolutely no haggling or negotiating nonsense. He pointed out that I was mistaken regarding one corporate discount I thought I qualified for. I said no problem, was ready to buy without the added discount and the dealership found a different discount to apply that I was unaware of. They sold me the car at a lower net price than I was prepared to pay. How rare is that. Bill in finance was thorough and efficient. Again could not have asked for more. Oh and the car. I have had multiple BMW and Lexus vehicles. Loved them all but REALLY love the new Genesis. Thanks Wright Automotive (especially Randy in sales, Bill in finance and Rick the general Sales Manager). My 2015 Nissan was hit while parked. I called State Farm and told them there was damage to the right rear quarter panel, I took my car to Wright Collision for an estimate where a scratch was also noticed on the rear door. All damage was supposedly noted and photographed at that time and was to be part of the estimate sent to State Farm. I scheduled an appointment for the repairs. A few days before I dropped of my car I called Wright to make sure that the repair to the rear door was noted and I was assured it was. I dropped my car off on a Sunday and I called them on Monday morning to again to make sure the door was being repaired and once again I was reassured it would be taken care of. When I picked up my car the following Saturday the quarter panel was repaired but the door was not. I brought it to the attention of Mike who also was the one who did the estimate and he apologized and said yes it was to have been repaired. I was told to call to get an appointment and he would give me a loaner car to use while the repairs were being completed.I dropped my car off for repairs and I also brought to their attention that all of my windows and rear tire were full of paint over spray from the first repair and was assured it would be taken care of. A few hours later I received a call and was told that the damage to the rear door was not noted anywhere and that it was not part of the original estimate and that it was preexisting damage. I explained what transpired and instructed him to talk with Mike. After not receiving a call back I called them and was told Mike did not recall my conversation, but they did touch up the scratch on my 2015 Nissan with a PAINT brush.When I picked up my car and was looking it over the paint over spray was still all over my windows when I brought that to their attention they apologized. If you need collision repair I would recommended that you go elsewhere or if you do go there do yourself a favor and get everything they are going to do in writing. read more
