This was one of the most positive car-buying experiences of my life. And I don't say that lightly; for the most part, I try to stay away from car dealerships (or "stealerships" as many of them are reputed) because I get aggravated. However, this was the most pain-free car buying process yet, and I say that after buying a car completely online early last year without even having to walk into a dealership. My son has been wanting his own car, for which he had saved his money, but every time he found a car online that he wanted to look at, it was some run-down shitshop in Ohio or Uniontown or somewhere 100 miles away that you know whatever car you buy would disintegrate five seconds after you drove it off the lot. Not only that, every car he wanted to buy was some ancient POS like a 1989 Dodge Daytona or a tuner like a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse - two cars with limited visibility that are not ideal first cars for a 17-year-old. When he sent me the listing of the 2011 Honda Fit that was listed by this dealership, I was both intrigued and relieved that he was interested in a car that didn't look like he was about to enter it into a drift competition. The car had been dropping in price, and as the high demand for used vehicles is now essentially no more, I figured, let's take a look at it. It turned out to be a good Fit for him (see what I did there?) Adam Langer made the entire process easy. I had done my homework on the Doc fees and such, and we were able to come to a quick agreement on an "out the door" price. Half hour later, after they cleaned the car up, and after Matt helped us with quick and efficient financial documentation signing, we were "out the door" and on our way home. My son is happy as heck with his first car, and the people at Baierl Acura made my son happy for making his first car purchase a positive experience, and his dad happy because my blood pressure was stable through the entire purchase (not that I measured it, but let's just say I had no reason for it to be elevated.) I recommend both this dealership and Adam Langer as a salesperson - stress-free, not pushy, and very honest (is that a thing? An honest car dealer? Apparently it's a thing!) While i don't know what the future holds in terms of car buying, you can bet your sweet bippy that if ever I am in the market for some new wheels, I'll stop by Baierl and talk to Adam. read more

I am beyond frustrated and unhappy with Baierl Acura. I have been trying to make a service appointment with them since June 2025. It is now almost August. I call and get an automated voice. I can't leave voicemail. I can't talk to a human. I am referred to the online booking, but I can't use that due to the nature of the car issue. I have called, I have texted, I have left voicemails. I have paid for maintenance plans that I cannot even use because they are unavailable. This company bills themselves as higher quality and higher level of service. They always ask for 5 stars, saying that anything less than that is considered to be a failing grade. This experience is a true failing, and it appears that no one cares. read more

8-9-2024: My sons and I visited today to look at a couple of cars. My one son really liked a couple of them. I told him to go inside and ask to see if he could test drive the one while I waited outside by the car. He came out discouraged. He said the woman asked how old are you? He told her seventeen. She said you look like you are twelve (kind of like making fun of him), let me see your license, he did show her. The policy is you must be eighteen to test drive the car (which we did not know). I did call and talked to a manager, he said he did see my son walk in, but did not hear the conversation with Brandy. I did complain and told him that what she did was wrong and was discrimination. Yes, my son looks younger than he looks, but Brandy should have talked to him like a regular customer. Instead of saying what she said, she should have asked if he has a parent with you since you are not 18. The manager was very apologetic, but that still does not excuse how she spoke to my son. The sad part of this was we had enough to pay for the car if it all worked out. read more

This review will be for the buying experience and the aftercare - bought a 2007 gmc envoy denali from their used lot Dec 5th 2016 - the price was good for the miles and i was looking for a specific type of vehicle + they stated it had gone thru a 128 point inspection and they inc a 6mth/6k power train warranty . First warning should have been when I was told there was a cd stuck in the unit right before I was getting ready to buy it , they weren't having it removed and thats why the price was so low - the price was not that low 11850.00 w/86k miles -Then the cargo mat which was shown in the sales pictures and when i test drove it went missing during the cleanup of the car and i had to settle for a universal one after they looked for it for about a month I have purchased 6 used cars and 2 new cars so i'm not new to this and i can say I have had better care from buy here pay here /corner used car dealers than i have had here- - i took the car in about a week after buying because the drivers side window would stop going up when it was cold - i had just bought it - any other place I have bought a car this type of issue would have been fixed but apparently a working window is not guaranteed here . - I noticed the self leveling suspension making noise as soon as i brought it home but didn't know what it was till further reading or that it shouldn't be doing it till later ( why wasn't this noticed during the inspection?) - The heater/ac blower does not work when you choose the floor option - again - why wasn't this found at their inspection ? - They did replace wheel bearings under the power train warranty - tho i had to pay 100 $ - better than the 800 to 1k it could have been if not caught before the power train warranty expired - The last straw has been a whirring noise that has progressively gotten worse since I bought - didnt notice at first because i listen to alot of music but when driving with my mom - she asked what it was . I took it in with 250 miles left on my power train - I made the reservation 2 days in advance - put exactly why I was going in the description and was charged 70$ ( was not told before they worked on it ) for them to tell me it may be a serpentine belt tensioner or a power steering pump I will never buy from a Baierl dealer again mainly due to the lack of actually caring after the purchase and I am very disappointed with the whole experience -i wrongly assumed that by buying from a higher end dealer I would be treated better - I had a better experience at JD BYrider - no one has been rude or disrespectful but i felt like no one actually cared about what my issues were they only cared whether it was covered under something - every place i have ever bought a car has taken care of all issues within the first 30 days ... anyway - sorry so long but just very frustrated - read more

In Response to Baierl's comments below, as for the vehicle's condition at the time of purchase, I may have signed something saying the vehicle passed inspection but it was never mentioned to me that the tires are wearing unevenly. Had I even known the vehicle needed an alignment at this price point and the dealer was too petty to align it I would have walked away. Yes, my tires measured 4/32" at the time of inspection. They currently measure 4/32" as well, but only on the outside. The inside is quite different. At the time of the picture in my initial review, the mileage was at 34,200, approximately 800 miles after the inspection. You said it yourself Rob, that wouldn't happen in 800 miles. Your service department passed this vehicle for inspection with the inside of the tire being completely bald. If you look at the picture of my inspect sticker, the front right tire was pulled, which is the tire in question. Do you realize how dangerous your negligence could have been Rob? Luckily I caught this, but it could have ended with a blow out resulting in an accident. Or is that Baierl's goal in order to hopefully sale another vehicle? I purchased this Jeep thinking it's just recently been inspected it's safe to drive and good to go, as anyone else would have. But with all of the dirty underhanded tricks Baierl has pulled, it's obviously not the case. Imagine if a woman would have bought this Jeep and never looked at the tires, just got in and drove. And expecting me to split the cost of what you rightfully should have done before the vehicle even hit the lot is a joke. I'll buy my own quality tires from an HONEST business, which Baierl is not btw. Your GM keeps saying you people aren't the people I think you are, but the truth is, you aren't the people he thinks you are. In my experience any person who has said they are a "good person" is anything but that, and quite the opposite. You're all a bunch of crooks and I would never recommend your dealership to anymore or do business with you again. read more

Generally I hesitate to give 1 star reviews, but this was the worst sales experience I've ever experienced. My wife and I were in the market for a used vehicle and saw one in their online inventory that we decided to check out. We stopped into the dealership and, seeing that they were busy, had a seat in the waiting area. A few employees walked past us as they were helping other customers. Nobody acknowledged that we were there. 10 minutes passed. Then 20 minutes. As I'm in sales myself, I was curious to see just how long we would be ignored. It took 30 minutes before a sales associate (who had stopped to watch the Pens game) approached us and asked, "have you been helped?" We told him we had not and that we were here to check out the vehicle. He simply said "I'll get the keys." There was no name exchange, no conversation, no apology for the wait. He simply pulled the car around and sort of stared at us indifferently. We decided to take the car for a test drive - I wanted to get a feel for it. It was obvious that the car had not been detailed. There was dirt in the seats and a lingering smell of dog. My wife noticed old hair bands hanging from the gear shifter. The sales rep offered us his card at the end of the drive. I wouldn't have known his name if it weren't for that. He never asked for ours. Overall this was the worst attempt at securing my business that I've ever seen. We were prepared to purchase a car, and we did purchase an Acura from another dealership. I do not recommend this location for a car purchase. We had a better experience from their service team, but that's a separate review. read more

I should have listened to the reviews about this place... - I had scheduled an MDX test drive, but when I arrived, the salesperson I was to work with was "busy". Their replacement looked about as excited to help me as someone headed to the dentist. - The vehicle brought out to test drive was filthy inside and had a broken power outlet with exposed wires. - It took 1 1/2 hours to get my information and provide me with an absurd low-ball trade offer (over $3,000 less than what I ended up accepting elsewhere). During this time, I was left to sit and twiddle my thumbs. Not a single person asked how I was doing or if I needed anything. - After mentioning how low the trade in offer was, I was met with complete indifference. This is usually where the sales manager comes in to try and figure out what I'm looking for financially. These guys just didn't care. Walking out made no difference to them, either. They said "bye" and that was it. There was zero effort to try and earn my business. Acura may have some nice vehicles, but they are lost when it comes to the dealer experience. Cross-shopping Lexus and Infiniti made that more apparent than ever. A dealership that thinks they have no competition + a manufacturer that thinks they have no competition = bad news for customers. read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced at a dealership!!! Ken acted like we were a complete burden. It took over 4 days to finally get the car we wanted to purchase. Day 1 we test drove it and offered cash to buy it but we were sent away because they couldn't be bothered with an out of state purchase on a Friday. Saturday we called and asked what time to come in to get the papers signed. After we arrived, we waited 3 hrs to sign papers for a cash deal--the finance manager was awesome though once we finally got to him. No one offered us anything to drink or acknowledged us sitting there all afternoon. On Monday we waited all day until 4:00 for something minor to be fixed but finally got the car. I guess they don't need to sell cars. We were told multiple times how busy they were and made to feel like a bother. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

The sales team was a joy to work with during the purchase of our car. However, I can't say the same about the service team just for the simple fact that it usually takes an incredibly long time. When we bought our car, we worked with Mary Beth and she was very friendly, knowledgable and even followed up on us from time to time after the purchase of our car. Every time I've been here, I've always been greeted by the sales team and sometimes by more than one. Even if I'm not shopping, they understand and are still willing to answer any questions we have even though they know they won't get a sale out of us. 5 stars goes to the sales team and especially Mary Beth. At any time that I need to bring the car in for maintenance, I dread making the appointment because these guys take forever. Don't get me wrong, they are a really friendly crew and I'm sure they're super busy with many service orders, but they usually underestimate the time it will take. The last time we brought the car in for an oil change, it took over two hours which went way over the the estimated completion time they gave us. Just to be safe, I recommend having someone drive you home and drop you off when the car is ready. However, they do have a nice waiting room with a TV to keep you entertained while waiting. The couches aren't that comfortable, but it's better than nothing I guess. It's a decent dealership. I would definitely buy another car here; in fact, I plan on it. However, I would recommend planning some extra time when it comes to maintenance service. read more

Without a doubt, the worst dealership I've had the displeasure of doing business with. Salesmen used bullish sales tactics to force customers into utilizing their financing company. I opted to use my bank and they held the car for several days (which they later admitted was unnecessary). Now, 30 days later, my temporary tags and registration have expired only to find that the dealership has yet to process any paperwork. Their excuse? "They forgot and they have new people working." Overall, Baierl has continuously ignored phones calls, not returned voicemail messages, and displayed general incompetence as a car dealership. Good service does take time so if you can't wait, be sure to make arrangements to drop your vehicle off, etc. They will drive you home/to your office if you live/work close enough. This review is ONLY ABOUT THE SERVICE department. I walked in around 10am on a weekday, asked to get my car inspected. 5 hours later (that's modest wait), my car was done. The mechanic told me my car has passed inspection, but there some things I need fixed down the line, and told me how much it would be. I decided not to fix them and he was ok with everything. Not a pushy salesman type. Great place, great service and they have a courtesy shuttle to take you anywhere you need to go. Great place. I once went to a mechanic for everything. He was very accomodating and quickly showed us several models on the lot that were used. He gave us enough information to allow us to do our own research later. When I returned to the dealer with more time, I took a test drive and sat with Ken to negotiate a deal that would work for myself and family. They took all the time that I needed to answer all of my questions and arrive at a fair deal. Christine Cunha was very helpful and completed the purchase process with no issues. Ken is very knowledgeable and reviewed the many features of the car. As I was driving away I really felt like I received terrific treatment and have the benefit of a great vehicle and a great dealer to back it up. Having confidence in a company's integrity is important. My experiences in service diagnosis and delivery since beginning my relationship with them have been positive. My latest trip was another example of this care. Clear understanding of what is being done, without any effort at unnecessary upselling while I am there, makes such visits refreshing. Another local dealer would pull customers apart and quietly explain why the visits would require more work than expected. Baierl has confidence in their work to explain when repairs or maintenance to explain in public. Wow what an insulting experience. Not only do they treat you like your stupid. They treat your like you can't do simple math. Here's my story. After being solicited to sell my current car by them. After I waste my time going to the the dealership. They come back with a trade in value $4200 below blue book. The most insulting part was they claimed the trade in value was in part of them getting the car ready to certify the car. I thought this was the cost of doing business. Way less than one star. Avoid their dealership and service department at all costs. They have no concerns for your satisfaction, safety, or fixing their mistakes. They only care about their bottom line. I brought my car in for inspection, they said the rear rotors needed to be replaced and said it would cost $400. I told them I didn't want the service done because I could do it myself for $50. They did the service anyway and didn't even do it right and sent me home in a loaner car. Instead of discounting the service I didn't want them to do or doing their best to make the situation right, they undid the service, scraped the inspection sticker off my car, and gave me my car back calling it "unsafe to drive." This scare tactic did not intimidate me as they intended, and seemed bothered by this. They wanted me to pay for a failed inspection and a new inspection. They did nothing to show care for my safety, my satisfaction, or to make anything right. Of course I have not received one of their automated "please review your experience" calls that I've gotten immediately in the past. They sent me intimidating messages on other review sits trying to blame me as well. I could go on for hours about how bad they are, but I think my point is clear. read more

Horrible dealership and even more horrible service! Dealers treated me like a moron. Could not even come close to trade in deal on my existing Acura- offering me thousands below book trade in value- claimed it had many faults- yet they did all the service on it! On to the service dept.- brought it in for a recall- walked out with a $1500 bill for a new radiator and rear brakes they said were needed. To add insult to injury, they broke the hood latch on my vehicle- did not even apologize- and I had to drive around for 10 days with a very shaky hood I thought would fly up any minute (they had to order and wait for the part). Please avoid this dealership and service dept. at all costs or enter at your own risk. Because of them, this will be my very last Acura. read more

I drove my brand new Acura TLX off the lot and immediately noticed on my home that the car was vibrating. I immediately called the service department and explained my concern. They told me to bring it in. They told me that it was probably the brand new tires that are on the car. OK that's possible so I told them to replace them. OK I'm happy, the car is ready to be picked up. While there I noticed that there were 60 additional miles on the car!!! So when I asked why there so many miles put on the car, after only changing tires. The answer was well I'm not sure. They couldn't tell me where they went and why they needed to drive it 60 miles. Incidentally that was more than I had put on it, since it was brand new. OK I let that pass, all I wanted was my car back so I left the dealership. On the way back home, the exact same thing, the car vibrated as it initially did. Now I'm really pi$$-off. So the next day I brought it back to the service department. There answer is that they had no idea what's wrong. So in short drove it 60miles gave it back and still vibrating. INCOMPETENT LIAR'S. So at this point, 4 months later and calling Acura NA, they decided they are sending a rep out to look at it. In short stay away from the dealership!!! Also stay away from Acura!! Consumer Reports December 2015 rated the 2015 TLX as a one of the most unreliable cars. Stating problems with transmission (vibration!!!) and electronics. Google Acura TLX vibration.
