I let…read morethem know my dog is a rescue and had been abused and would need to be sedated.. so I muzzle my puppers bring him in to the room mind you this is our first visit ever since we just moved here... Dr. So called Bob comes in very aggressively doesn't even try to sit down let my dog try to feel comfortable or ask any questions he immediately tells my husband to grab him from the front and he then proceeds to grab my dog from the back to lift him on the table well my dog got scared and lunged at the doctor with his muzzle on and the doctor kicked him in his side which even the vet tech was in shock and kept apologizing to us over and over... The girls there though are amazing but dr. Bob is a ass and should not be allowed to ever treat animals again... I will be reporting him to the board...

You and your dog (or cat!) will be cared for here! I remember bringing my dogs here 30 years ago,…read moreso when we moved back to the area I was so pleased to be able to bring my Maltese here! He had a lump near his ankle that needed removal and Dr. Bob offered to remove the tartar on a few teeth while he was under anesthetic. He did a beautiful job and we were able to bring him home the same day! The bill was half it would have been anywhere else, which was appreciated since we're seniors on a fixed income! All in all, it was a great experience! Thank you Dr. Bob and Staff!!

I consider myself a well informed and involved pet owner and expect my vet to be a partner in my…read moredogs' care. Vets vary in quality and their level of knowledge, but Dr. Wright set my mind at ease. She took the time to go over the pros and cons of types of spays and the things she brought up align exactly with the studies I read. She also shared some things I did not know about a skin issue she has. She was patient and understanding with my malinois who can be a real pill at the vet for certain procedures. This office acknowledged the challenges and mentioned that there are things we can do together to help alleviate my dog's anxiety over time including how she is handled by staff which is more important than just jumping to the strongest drugs and ripping through an exam. In the dog world the Pet Doctor is considered one of the best reproductive vets you can see and one of the only to offer an ovary sparing spay so across the board I feel like I am in good hands at this vet for a spay and ongoing care.

If I could give zero stars for my recent experience, I would, but I want to be fair, because this…read morepractice once deserved every star I could give. For nearly nine years, The Pet Dr was the place I trusted completely with my dogs, my family. Dr. Fujie was exceptional: knowledgeable, compassionate, and always took the time to explain what was happening and what our options were. When you have a dog who is more than a pet, he's your companion, your shadow, your best friend, that kind of care means everything. Then things changed. My dog is 13 years young. I brought him in for vaccinations and a wellness checkup, where Dr. Romman heard a heart murmur and recommended an X-ray. The results showed an enlarged heart, later confirmed by a radiologist to include tumors on his heart and thyroid. When those results came back, I called to speak with Dr. Romman -- not only to understand what we were facing, but to ask something as simple as whether it was safe to board him while we traveled. I never got that call back. What I received was a call to schedule an EKG. When we returned from our trip, I called again. And again, the following week. My wife finally did hear from Dr. Romman. When my wife let me know what was shared, I asked if they would do anything because of his age or how much time he has left. I called back to have a conversation and when I did get a call from Dr Romman, she spent more time explaining they had tried to reach me than talking about my dog's care. We were eventually referred to an oncologist at Blue Pearl, where we learned that surgery and chemo were not options at his age. We were told to enjoy the time we had left with him. Today, I called because my boy's stomach had become severely bloated and he was gagging more than before. He had lost weight because he was not eating and by switching to canned food, he got his appetite back. I got an appointment to be seen that afternoon, only to receive a callback minutes later with a staff member relaying that Dr. Romman wanted to know "what I wanted to accomplish from the visit." I stated he has a bloated stomach and what I read online, it could be serious like a twisted stomach and my goal was to hopefully address this health issue. She replied that I needed to see a specialist and they were a general practice clinic and do not have the specialized equipment to treat my dog. The Pet Dr. website says 'Our veterinarians offer a wide variety of medical, surgical and dental services. Our hospital has advanced equipment and technologies, including comprehensive in-house testing for accurate diagnosis, digital x-ray, surgical suite, dental suite and a pharmacy. I asked if he did not have tumors and we just called for a bloated stomach would he be seen or sent to a specialist. She said to a specialist. She told me Dr. Romman would see us if we wanted palliative care. I am trying to keep our best friend comfortable and happy for whatever time he has left and not just put him down. This is a dog who has been a patient here for nearly a decade. He is not a case number, he is family. He deserved better. We deserved better. If you are navigating a serious diagnosis with a senior pet and simply need a compassionate vet in your corner, please consider whether this practice will show up for you when it truly matters. Based on my experience, I'm not confident they will. To Dr. Fujie, wherever you are: thank you for treating our boy like the family member he always has been.

This review is long overdue, but I want to express how truly wonderful Dr. Erickson has been over…read morethe past six years. She has cared for all of our special little rescue dogs, and we've certainly kept her busy! Through it all, she has consistently gone above and beyond to provide exceptional care. Dr. Erickson is kind, honest, compassionate, and always takes the time to listen. She is incredibly knowledgeable and never stops searching until she finds the best solution for our pets' health issues--and we've had plenty of them over the years. Through both the happy moments and the difficult ones, she has been our guiding light and voice of reason. She is the kind of veterinarian every pet owner hopes to find, and we feel incredibly fortunate that we found her. The entire staff at Chambers is equally wonderful--friendly, compassionate, and always willing to help. We are so grateful for everything they have done for our family and our beloved rescue dogs.

I was signed up for a paw plan in which they continued to charge my card through the government shutdown. Additionally, told us they would no longer provide us services despite continuing to charge my card. They misdiagnosed my puppy after having diarrhea claiming that she had an obstruction and made us pay $800 then and there then refused to give her back to me so we could transfer her to the Emergency vet 1 hour away. We ended up going to the other vet. Find out that $800 more for nothing - that the radiology report was not read correct correctly by the vet. Even the radiologist confirmed that it was food. The manager did not reach out to me about this at all. Nor Did she have staff check on my dog. They charged me a large amount of money here, and continually their front desk was beyond rude not to mention, not helpful. Never involving higher leadership or other staff to navigate complex issues. And overall a general, extreme unprofessionalism. I do not recommend this place. They are terrible people and treat clients poorly. They did not even give my dog fluids prior to her transferring despite her having a large amount of blood loss. They did absolutely nothing and cost me an arm and a leg. I don't know what happened to this place as initially it was great. But whatever change there -was avoid them. They also don't keep their patient waiting room clean. It is disgusting.-*****Also put personal opinions of clients on medical documentation without consent written to transfer said document. I know that one bad review probably won't hurt this clinic, and honestly, that is not why I am…read morewriting it. I'm writing this because I hope another pet owner reads my experience before trusting this clinic with their animal and takes the time to look carefully at the reviews and make an informed decision. Please don't assume that the negative reviews are simply people being difficult or impossible to please. These are real people, just like me, who love their animals and trusted this clinic to take care of them. I brought my cat in because he was walking oddly and had a fever. After the examination, the doctor told me she couldn't find anything wrong with him and couldn't understand where the fever was coming from. We were sent home with antibiotics for my cat. I was left believing that they had thoroughly examined him and that there was nothing obvious causing his symptoms. The next day, I decided to carefully examine my cat's body myself because I was still very concerned about him. I was shocked to find open wounds and scratches on his head. (Photos attached )These were not hidden or impossible to notice. I was very surprised that after a professional veterinary examination, I was told they could not find anything wrong. I paid for the examination and additional testing because I trusted the clinic to properly evaluate my cat. Unfortunately, I ended up finding the physical injuries myself after being told there was nothing wrong.I went back to the clinic because I wanted someone to take responsibility for what happened and, more importantly, they giving me options for how to properly address the problem with my cat. The money was never the point for me. I wanted accountability and for the clinic to acknowledge that something had been missed. I spoke with the assistant manager, who asked me to give her a couple of days to look into the situation and talk to the Manager and get back to me. She never did. I had to physically return after 12 days to the clinic again because I never received a call or any follow-up. When I finally spoke with the manager, he gave me one explanation that how this could've been missed... After a long conversation he told me that he was not going to give me any refund because doing so would mean admitting that the clinic/vet had made a mistake. That was extremely frustrating and disappointing to hear. As a pet owner, this experience has been incredibly upsetting. I trusted this clinic with my cat's health, and I expected a thorough examination and proper follow-up. Being told that they "didn't find anything wrong," only for me to find open wounds and scratches on my cat the very next day, is something I find extremely difficult to accept. The lack of accountability and communication is what has disappointed me the most. I want to make one thing very clear we were never doing this to get a refund but the least they could've done after failing the physical examination...What we wanted was accountability. There were several reasonable options the clinic could have offered after the situation came to light. For example, they could have offered to perform another thorough physical examination to make sure there were no additional wounds or injuries that had been missed, or they could have offered to clean and properly treat the wound to help prevent it from becoming infected. Even simply taking the time to examine him again and make sure he was okay would have shown us that they genuinely cared about making things right. I truly hope sharing my experience helps another person avoid going through the same frustration, disappointment, and worry that we experienced. Please read the negative reviews. Don't automatically assume these people are lying or exaggerating. Behind those reviews are pet owners who love their animals just as much as we love ours.We trusted this clinic and we felt let down.

TLDR: got a bully? Don't go to DuPont Vet…read more From visit one with my rescue, we were mistreated. He was an untrained dog who needed care. I spent thousands on training. Nonethless, each visit we were treated as though my pup is something to be feared. I worked diligently to support him, providing treats and a muzzle as needed. I took the staff feedback yet I always felt like they did not care and were afraid. Feelings are not facts so here are some facts: He presented with allergy issues. I started cytopoint at $275 every 4 weeks. This totaled over $3,000. He was having paw issues. Never was he given a cytology. I continued to bring him every 4 weeks for care with no improvement. My concerns were dismissed from every staff member I encountered. I saw another vet and he was immediately tested and turns out he had staph. In his paws. Which required an extremely high dosage of antibiotics for 3 weeks and a prayer that his staph was not drug resistant He also had a significant reaction to anxiety medication for pre vet care. I describe it as doggy psychosis and detailed the scary symptoms. When I reported my concerns I was dismissed and in fact told to double the dose. In a text. From a Receptionist. No call. No concern for his well being despite me calling and asking for a call back. When I stated I would not give those meds again I was told pre vet med was not optional and I should consider a mobile or other vet. No asking how he was doing, is he getting better or offering care. I met with the hospital manager. She listened and affirmed my concerns. I appreciated her time. I checked in a few times and was told it was being investigated. More than 7 weeks after my initial meeting I was given a response via email that stated I did not share any concerns and that his staoh could have been uncontrolled allergies. There has been zero effort from corporate to rectify this, only blaming pet and owner. Yet again this team is dismissive and unprofessional. Never will I ever recommend this vet for any pet care. It is disgraceful and shameful the way I and my pet have been treated. The greatest disappointment is this vet center used to be exceptional- my previous dog had amazing care under the previous vets. Selling to a corporation has been a massive decline in quality of care and staff.
