Just... the worst! SO RUDE!!! I had an appointment with the very capable Dr Hankwitz. I am familiar with her and like her quite a lot. She is an excellent vet. Here is the problem. The office staff. The ridiculous manner in which I was dealt with... was inexcusable. I had an appointment booked and unfortunately, we had an emergency and I had to cancel. I do not do this very often anywhere really.. but this was an exception. I had to cancel. When I did, the person I had the misfortune of speaking with was just so incredibly rude. I literally couldn't believe it. She was nasty. She was rude. She was argumentative and sounded troubled. I'm sure she is troubled. I have never had an interaction like this before. LOL I couldn't believe it. Sadly, I cannot recommend visiting this office simply because ... well you will be forced to speak with the most ignorant, rude, unbalanced office person. I don't know if it was the large woman in front, or the dark haired woman off to the side.. but .. whichever person interacted with me was pretty troubled and extremely caustic and just omg so damn rude. Hankwitz is an OK vet.. I like her. But I won't ever go back to this office and sorry Dr. Hankwitz, but none of the ladies I hang with will either. Your receptionist that schedules needs a little couch time. She was angry, she was rude, she was just the worst! Just, the WORST! I give her a -99 out of 10. *(math was hard for me, sorry) I can't recommend your office because of this nightmare of a receptionist/or possibly back office scheduling person. WHO EEE she was horrible. So, steer clear of this spot. There are many veterinarians who you can visit that have normal front office personnel. Just... ahahahah the WORST person, I believe I have ever dealt with.. in any office situation anywhere. Oh my, goodness. Horrible experience.

Dr. Kazokas delivered the life threatening news with care and was calm and gentle with his recommendation while on a quick timeline. When he said there was not even a second for me to see our boy before surgery, I left feeling broken but trusted him and felt he was taking the best care of our boy. Arriving after the procedure, he sat with us again and told us our boy was a champ and was honest about the slight difficulty in the procedure. We transported Jeter to the 24 hour sister vet close by and the only thing I would "complain" about is that Dr. Kazokas wouldn't be with him anymore (not because I expect him to be rather because I wish he could be) as he was calming, realistic and caring. Our boy is now at the sister hospital for 48 hour supervision.

My cat has been having skin issues and I felt like they were much more at ease handling him. They gave us a prescription to give to him before his next visit so that he's able to relax. My husband made it right on time, it took 10 minutes to get back into a room, and him and my cat were on their way by 10:30 WITH shots, I was told my cat was seen for less than 5 minutes, and its extremely disappointing to think we were charged as highly as we were for what my husband described as a 2 minute once over. We didn't get an answer or investigation on why her leg was tender. I requested an invoice and was shocked to find how much it cost compared to what I was told took place. It's a massive bummer to have to make this but the response I received from the team suggests notes were made on her profile that did not reflect the reality of her visit, and I feel we are being swindled out of quality care for my animal. only received a response after leaving a review and there is a massive lack of accountability from the leadership here, defensiveness to valid concerns and more care put into being ensuring my animals medical records reflected my complaints then her actual care. Nugget has been pretty itchy and has a very irritated spot on her paw; we also wanted to make sure she was caught up on vaccinations since they're so important for puppies. We were new clients and our appointment wasn't for another couple of weeks. I called because I was worried about her paw, and they were so sweet and compassionate to get us in the next day even though we weren't established yet. Dr. Boone was our veterinarian. She was so sweet and treated Nugget as if she were her own. Nugget loved her and the rest of the staff; it was amazing for her first veterinarian experience--they made it so special. They explained everything to me and told me about next steps if the current treatment plan didn't work out. We already have our follow-up booked for Nugget's next vaccines. They gave me a ton of helpful puppy information and I am so happy we were able to get in here.
