Had truck towed to XIT Dodge where I first met Steven one of the shop guys. Steven spent the rest of his day working on trying to find out what the deal was with my truck after a few hours and it finally starting we went for a test drive and the truck decided it didn't want to shift gears so again Steven spent the rest of his day trying to figure out how it went from not starting to not shifting gears well after a few more hours of doing several diagnostic test and communicating with Nick the shop manager it was the valve body in the transmission. Now as far as this shop goes I can't begin to say enough great words about how professional Steven the shop mechanic and Nick the shop manager are these guys did everything in there will and Power to make the time go by so easy and mind you I was there for 2 days I mean great professional shop great Professional Service all of these mechanics there are very very well knowledgeable and know their stuff and will bend over backwards to not only get you in and out of there as fast as they possibly can but they do the job right. Also had the privilege and great opportunity to meet the lady that owns the shop very nice professional woman and again I can't even begin to say how grateful and thankful that I am to not only have the opportunity to be able to meet Nick and Steven but I always know that if this ever happens again that I have no doubt in my mind about taking it to the shop again I can't thank you guys enough for everything you guys are done for me and I have successfully made it home and the truck still runs and performs wonderful thank you again so much for everything you guys have done at the shop for me. And oh by the way I can't forget Dave one of the sales guys there had a few minutes and opportunity to meet with him and talk with him about a couple different vehicles and he answered every one of my questions that I already actually knew the answers to so this is a guy if you are looking for a truck or car or SUV you've got to talk to Dave great guy very professional. And the parts guys there they are on top of their game they went above and beyond in hunting down the part I need it for my truck and found it and got me out of there again great job and truly a great shop. I was towed to Dalhart, TX, and was relieved to find there was a Chevrolet dealership in such a small town. I arrived about 45 minutes before closing, and in hindsight, that may have contributed to my experience. Unfortunately, I didn't feel that anyone seemed particularly concerned about the situation my family and I were in. My first interaction was with Lori in the service department. I explained that my Blazer, with fewer than 40,000 miles, had suddenly begun slipping and shifting harshly, the transmission warning light had come on, and the vehicle was rapidly losing power. Given the vehicle's age and mileage, this was completely unexpected. I asked about transportation options, including a loaner vehicle, but none was offered. Instead, I was directed to a nearby hotel that provides a stranded traveler discount. For anyone unfamiliar with Dalhart, there are no rental car agencies or rideshare services in town. When I asked where I could rent a vehicle, I was told Amarillo--roughly 90 miles away. After taking my information, Lori explained that they likely wouldn't even be able to inspect my vehicle until the following week. She also said it appeared to be a major repair that would be expensive and could take several days. Since they were closing, I was told to unload my belongings, figure out my next steps, and leave my keys in the overnight drop box. As a result, my husband, my autistic daughter, and I walked to the hotel in 80-95 degree weather with all of our luggage and personal belongings. I had hoped the dealership might offer a short shuttle ride given our circumstances, but that wasn't available. The following week, I called for an update and was told that parts had been ordered and could take a week or longer to arrive. At that point, the estimated repair timeline was approximately two weeks, leaving me effectively stranded in Kansas while waiting for updates. It wasn't until nearly two weeks later that I learned, through my own research, that GM offers several programs for customers stranded by warranty repairs, including limited reimbursement for rental cars, hotels, and meals. They can also arrange to transport your repaired vehicle back to your home so you don't have to remain near the dealership. I opened a case directly with GM and began working with them. I wish someone at Hart Chevrolet had informed me of these programs from the beginning, as it would have made a difficult situation much easier to manage. I also learned that GM sometimes had difficulty obtaining timely updates from the dealership. In the end, my vehicle wasn't returned to me for seven weeks. During that time, the updates I received were generally limited to "we're still waiting on parts," "we're hoping to start it next week," or "we're waiting on a special tool." It wasn't until later that I was informed several parts were on backorder. I understand that supply chain issues and backordered parts are outside the dealership's control. My disappointment isn't with the length of the repair itself--it's with the lack of communication, guidance, and empathy shown throughout the process. Being stranded hundreds of miles from home with my family was incredibly stressful, and I felt like we were largely left to figure everything out on our own. I sincerely hope others have a better experience than we did.

A very nice man in Napa recommended this shop, and I am so happy he did. The owner and two other mechanics took my car in FIRST THING!!! All of them were kind, caring, and compassionate. They talked to me about all the services they were performing, and even took the time to look the rest of my car over as well to make sure I wouldn't have any other issues. I was really stressed out and upset about making the rest of the drive with the issues I was having, and they really took care of me. I was offered water, and the owner even took the time to ask me if I had eaten breakfast. You won't get that level of compassion from anywhere else. Had to make the safe decision of turning back for the time being, but they tightened up my steering box, tightened up my wheels to torque spec, and aligned my truck two or three times. Specifically shoutout to PARKER (Dalhart) and EDGAR (Texline location). These two are the MEN. If you can get your stuff aligned my Edgar in Texline you'd be in for a treat! We were driving from Denver to…read moreDallas around 8pm on a Saturday night and so we stopped at the gas station "toot'n and totum" to pump gas & fill up a-tire that looked air-low but then exploded..We have asked the cashier lady if she knew any tire shop open & she replied call this guy & he will go out to fix it .The shop was already closed,but when we called him he didn't hesitated to open the shop after hours. These boys are amazing!! We were traveling from Arizona to Illinois when the brakes went out on our…read moretruck. We were pulling a 42ft 5th wheel and couldn't go on until brakes were fixed. On a Saturday morning we called these guys and they dropped everything to squeeze us in! On top of that we discovered that the back panel of our 5th wheel was hit by something and was pulled away from the camper. They offered to patch it back together for us so we could at least pull it home. The price was 1/2 of what we were quoted on brakes prior to finding them. Can't say enough about this great group of men! Lifesavers for sure!!
