Another gentleman walked in, a salesperson immediately came up and talked to him, you know, like a typical salesperson is supposed to do. Hmmmmmm... Did that guy look like he had money and I didn't? (For the record, I could afford to buy half the store if I chose to.) Did they not see me because I was not a white, tall guy? Maybe. This being near the Landfill/Wrightsville areas, full of hoytie/toytie people, I wouldn't doubt it. Anyway, they lost a sale today and many future sales. Got married on Sept 20 and within 3 days, the ring was rusting. I was very open with the sales person about my concerns of needing something easy to maintain and was told that as long as I stayed out of salt water, it would hold up well. Then when it rusted, I took it back in. A new sales person helped and said she doesn't like selling them because they are often returned. I have no clue why they sell them if this is a known problem. Either way, I'm glad I got the care plan. I ended up going with another ring in white gold. Without the care plan, I may have been in a very bad position. It won't match the engagement or wedding photos. It also wasn't the ring that my wife put on my finger when we got married, but I suppose if you don't care about that sort of thing, it won't matter to you. It also took a very long time to process the change because they were having issues with their internet access in the store. I had to go outside to pull anything up on my phone as well.
