Wrigley's Pet Spaw is amazing! I have been taking my dog Bobby since he was 1 and he just turned 4 in April. The service they provide is amazing and they have never let me down, ever! I love the owner and her dogs because they are all so friendly and the dogs are just too darn cute. For my dog, they usually take up 2-4 for hours long which is what great because they give my dog the appropriate amount of attention for his type of fur. The equipment, shampoos, shower, cages, and the actual building it self, is super clean and it's a very nice environment for everyone; you can just tell right as you walk in the door. They are super gentle with the dogs and they offer a lot of services down to brushing teeth to de-matting fur and everything else your pet might need. The prices are extremely fair for such spectacular service, for example ($25-60) and compared to many other places, it's one of the best places in Long Beach to get a deal on grooming. So a personal thank you to Wrigley's for being the best that they can be and for loving our dogs as much as we do! Love this place! They take such good care of my terriers. The little one won't let me comb or brush her at home, but she loves to come the the Pet Spaw! My Scotty boy loves this place! He use to go to Wags to Wiggles but I decided to switch after I just wasn't completely happy. He has sensitive skin and this is the only place he has been to that doesn't make him itch nonstop when he comes home. I looked here on Yelp and found Wrigley Pet Spaw which is just a few blocks from my house and I haven't went anywhere else since. The people that work there are really nice and gentle with the animals. I have a mini-poodle /maltipoo mix. While I love the fact that my baby doesnt shed, his fur is really high maintenance. It has been a long 6 year journey getting a groomer I can actually say I love. The groomers/owners have poodles! They are usually in the store and are very calm and friendly. I can usually just call ahead and drop my dog off and he is ready within an hour or two. If she is busy, she will ask me what my time schedule is and work with me so my dog isnt there all day. Pros: availabilty pleasant staff great with mini poodles the dog really does smell good when you get them (really!) Cons: not in the best neighborhood they don't require you to bring in proof of current vaccinations except for rabies. Now that I think about it, that is BAD Okay only four out of five because of the vaccine issue. read more

They give great service for a very fair price, they communicate well and are just very pleasant in general. Our golden retriever is a hairy beast and they make him look like a prince. $65 for an "outline" trim where they do the tail, ears, undercarriage - basically everything except his back. Not like a dog needs much of a haircut on their back anyways. That includes teeth brushed, nails trimmed, anal glands and a bath. We highly recommend. So does Gus. read more

The girls there seem like they hate there job. Last time I took my princess there the grooming wasn't good at all and they took literally all day and they had lots of missing spots. I kept calling to check on her and she was still not ready. Just rescued my puppy from the pound and walked to the nearest pet grooming for his super long claws. This is my first dog and so I was relieved to find the ease at which the staff there handled my puppy. I absolutely love this place. I moved to Long Beach about three years ago and now I am back in West LA. I love this place so much I still bring my dog all the way to Long Beach. They are caring and gentle with my dog. My dog did not like her feet groomed but over time she has become accustomed becasue they are very gently with her. The gommers are very knowledgeable and know exactly what they are doing. My dog has pink ears and she re-does them every so often. I love the fact that she has her own pets at the shop and they are super friendly. I will keep comming back here. I would highly recommedn this place to anyone who has pampered pooches. read more

I think we've finally found a groomer in our area. I did my search on Yelp, called a few but, we decided to give Wrigley's a try. It's such cute little shop, the staff is friendly and informative. She was patient and gentle with both of our dogs, espececially Isabella. Isabella is a rescue dog with abandonment issues and she yelps out when anything she doesn't like is happening to her. The main groomer explained Isabella's possible breed(no one ever knows) which helped explain her temperament. There is a large friendly white poodle with pink dyed ears walking around behind the staff area. Their nails clipped and buffed within a few minutes, since it was her first visit we decided to muzzle Bella. All went well. Looking forward to taking them back for their regular groomings. They had a good amount of regulars that love bringing their dogs in for hair coloring and grooming. Comfy little waiting area with a love seat. read more

Wrigley's Pet Spaw staff and service are just wonderful. My husband and I have taken our two lovies Princess (a Pom) and Pebbles (a Chihuahua mix) since we moved to Wrigley a couple of years ago and absolutely love it. We were very hesitant to leave our previous groomers since Princess and Pebbles are like one of our kids, we needed a very special place to take them and we found it. They have taken them at the last minute and got them done really quickly many times now. Chelsey Brown, CJ, Sparty & Honey have been going to Pet Spaw also from the time they opened. My Mother lives in Mexico and she can't wait to come for a visit to have her dogs done. The owner and employees have been friendly from the beginning. Girls- they even provide matching nail polish and ribbons for Chelsey Brown. Polish is a little extra. During major Holidays they provide matching ribbons for Chelsey and the 3 boys. It is soooo cute, We get many many compliments. I have been to several grooming shops including the one in Pet smarts. Pet Spaw is the place we kept coming back to and now it's "our" grooming place. Even our family members & friends who don't have pets know where Pet Spaw is and how happy we are with them. Relatively cheap and they are so nice! I have a short-haired and a long-haired cat. They give them baths, the Furminator, and whatever random shavings (I usually get my long-haired cat's belly shaved) for about $110-115. I always tell them I don't care if my cats look stupid when they shave them but they always try to trim around it to make it look more natural. They're usually done with them both in about 2.5-3 hours (but I always take them in right when they open). Take your pet here, you won't be disappointed! read more

This place is not a safe place to get your pets groomed. Please take your pets elsewhere. I had both of my poms groomed here, At first I was satisfied with their service. Come to find out that one of my poms developed a skin infection because of the tools they were using we're unsanitary. They cut my second Pom and had told me that he had come in with a scab, I check my poms on. Daily basis twice a day and I'm SURE he didn't come in with a scab. This business is no good. I recently adopted a miniature poodle and was looking for a decent groomer. When i took Lily to the Wrigley Pet Spa she was a curly mess!! She had just healed from her spay and because you cant bathe them for over 10 days she was filthy!!!! I called and they took her right away! Its not the fanciest grooming place in the world but it was ok and i did see the doberman in the corner without a muzzle or anything but it seemed pretty socialized and not bothered by the other dogs coming in. There was also a tiny poodle there that was probably more agressive than the Doberman...lol. But anyhow for $45 they gave Lily a full service package and gave her a puppy cut which is the average price for the area. They did a great job aside from a few uneven cuts here and there but i assumed it was Lily's fault since it was her first time to the groomer to my knowledge anyway. All in All they did a very decent job. read more

I got on yelp and Wrigley's Pet Spaw was one of a few places that came up...I liked their name, gave them a call and got all 3 dogs in same day! They do really nice work here I have brought my dogs here and they always come out looking beautiful and smelling great! The price here isn't cheap but understandable for a great service. Although sometimes the staff seems only friendly to their constant regulars but that doesn't really bother me. As long as my dogs come out sharp that is good for me.
