Still in love with This place! Wouldn't go anywhere else! My dog comes out soo cute it's seriously my fav !

I usually don't book my appointments until the week of, and noticed they do get booked quickly. So that's on me. But my doodle girl always looks fluffy and amazing when she comes in for maintenance grooming. We are currently scheduled for a full Summer cut and make note - they only take a limited amount of doodles since they take a longer time to groom. Hence, the appointments are more difficult to get for us. It's not located in the nicest area and often times, there is poop on the street walking to the groomers. I do wish they would clean up that part of the neighborhood more. In summary, they do a great job. My girl smells great when I pick her up and their prices are reasonable. Please do not change that! 100% WOOF Recommend!

After moving to downtown Long Beach, I still have yet to find a groomer until today. I called this morning thinking that there would be no way to get serviced the same day, especially on a Sunday, but they were able to accommodate me. I'm very picky when it comes to my Princey Pooh, but they did a excellent job. I was not disappointed at all

Love this place! They do such a good job with our dog Tucker. Perfect amount of trim and do a amazing job with the face. Wrigley's exceeds expectations every time. 10/10

Our fur baby named Skye, a maltipoo she likes to get her hair cut off here. Patronize her neighbor.

I brought my 2 husky here today for the first time and oh they are so friendly. Best customer service ever, and my dog a freshly clean and groomed. I would recommend this place 100%, and will be going here from now

This is by far the best grooming my dog has had since moving back to California. I was able to schedule her grooming a week prior. My dog is 2 years old, a spoiled precious baby that cries in my absence, and weighs 12lbs. She's tiny. It took them an hour and a half to do a full grooming. I am VERY pleased and happy. Very affordable.

Wrigley's Pet Spaw is a special venue for your fur babies. I am so pleased with their treatment of my "babies".

I'm so glad our paths crossed. This establishment is best in the business when it comes to dog grooming. I have been patronizing this establishment for several years now and there has not been a problem with the grooming or an incident of injury. I'm grateful to a neighbor who recommended this establishment to me. We would meet occassionally during the time we are walking our "babies". I highly recommend these groomers. For a family business to go all out of their way to assure great treatment of your pets is very appreciated.

Unfortunately, my experience left me very disappointed. I was quoted a base price of $120, with the first 30 minutes of dematting included and any additional dematting billed at $1 per minute. I understood there could be additional charges if my puppy required extra work. However, what I did not expect was for the cost to continue increasing without any communication. Around 8:40pm, I checked in and was told they had just started drying him. Based on that update, I told them to take their time because I believed the appointment was nearing completion. I was never contacted to let me know the bill was approaching several hundred dollars or to ask whether I wanted them to continue. Instead, my puppy remained at the salon until approximately 11:15pm, nearly seven hours after drop-off. After waiting all evening, I was the one who finally texted to let them know I was coming to pick him up because the appointment had gone on far longer than expected. I also let them know it was okay if he wasn't finished, as it was already very late and the appointment had gone on for nearly seven hours. When I arrived, I was told they had spent four hours dematting him, resulting in a final bill of $400. What was especially frustrating is that, despite the lengthy appointment and significant cost, the groom was not completed. I was offered the option to bring him back another day to finish the service. I understand that severely matted dogs require additional time and that groomers deserve to be compensated for that work. My concern is the lack of communication as the cost continued to climb and the amount of time my young puppy spent at the salon for an unfinished groom. A quick phone call to discuss the options or to place a limit on the charges would have gone a long way. I do want to acknowledge that Sivan was kind and professional during our interactions. My concerns are not about the friendliness of the staff, but rather the communication around the cost, the length of the appointment, and the fact that the groom was not completed. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won't be returning.

Lily recently had an eye surgery, so I was paranoid reading reviews for other groomers. We'd prefer to keep the eye we still have. Soggy Dog definitely lives up to its 5-star reviews! Just in case anyone else is reading this that has a one-eyed dog (or any dog with blindness), Tanyss's most recent rescue is a one-eyed dog too, so that made me feel much better :) APPOINTMENT/COMMUNICATION: I called on Thursday but they were closed for a staff event; they got back to me asap by text & I ended up scheduling for Saturday afternoon. Elle called when Lily was almost done (only 30 mins later). Their communication is very quick and clear so if you have any questions regarding services, feel free to ask ahead of time! PAYMENT: They accept cash and check, but you get free enzymatic teeth brushing if you pay cash! My dog is 9-10lbs & pricing depends on weight, but for an all-inclusive flea bath (nails, teeth, blueberry facial, gland expression) I paid less than $50 before tip. That is significantly less than I've been charged at other places. Tanyss even explained that with the rising costs of living, they strive to make such services affordable :) MY FEARFUL REACTIVE DOG: was very comfortable here. When I picked her up, Elle (we share a name!!) was holding her & Lily wasn't shaking?? She also wasn't desperate to leave; she was so chill?? Keep in mind this is the same Lily who loses it if I bring her to a pet store (another place that smells like a bunch of dogs have been there). Do not get me started on the vet--this chihuahua acts like she's being deployed. She was confused when we first tried to enter, & Elle (as in not me Elle) suggested I pick her up so she doesn't get out of her harness, which is TOO accurate bc that exact thing has happened to us sooooooo many times. Elle clearly knows dogs, haha. But when I picked her up, she couldn't be more chill! PARKING: So turns out you can stop at the red loading zone right in front for pickup/drop-off, & Elle even explained that if the police pull up, they'll bat for you as a client who was literally unloading a dog, LOL. I didn't see the text about the loading zone & ended up parked a few blocks down the street, because parking in this area is a struggle. Use the loading zone! Save yourself! SUMMARY: Lily has her new grooming place :)))

It was a last minute appointment needed for the little pup and with the help of Yelp, we found Sara. I put in a searched which came up with places for what I was looking for. There were a few places that came up but she was the first to reach out. The sweet conversation explained what I was looking for and she replied professionally with what services they offered. Between a few back and forth we were able to get him in last minute. She squeezed us in day off which we were very thankful of. The place itself was in a mini strip mall with a few other businesses. A thrift/vintage shop, a bar, a few coffee shops, hair salon and nail shop. There's a decent size parking lot but when we arrived it was packed but lucky enough to find a spot. When we walked in, it was a little confusing as it was a vet. The ladies behind the counters were all sweet when we checked in but wasn't sure we were at the right place. Well, it's a vet and groomers on site. It was just a couple minutes wait till Sara came out to greet us. First off, she's such a doll and sweetheart. Very professional and takes pride in what she does. Chatted with here for a little bit about what we wanted before handing over the little pup to her. We were quoted about 2 and half hour or so which she'll call us 20 minutes before hand to let us know he'll be ready soon. Freddie Mercury was in good hand. Picking him up, he was such a cutie. The bathing, cut and grooming was great. Nails were cut and file for that nice finished look. Also he had the cutest little bow tie on which was the little icing on the cake. From the chat on Yelp, Sara explained all the pricing and services ahead of time to give us the breakdown. As it was our first time, she did take good care of us with everything. Total for everything and extra add on including gratuity and discounts for first time, it was just short of 130.00. Price wise for everything was good. It was worth it and her service was very well worth it. Even though we're not from the area and it was a last minute appointment, we're keeping her in our book as we'll be back in town again and know Freddie will be in good hands next time. The place was very professional and clean. There's a drinks section with a mini fridge of drinks and a water station for refilling your bottles and coffee machine. It was busy which is great for them. Sara, a professional and sweet person who has a special skills for what she does. Friendly, sweet and a doll. Highly recommend Sara.

Very Disappointing Customer Service and Extremely High Prices…read more Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with this dog grooming business. The prices are significantly higher--roughly 30-40% more, in my experience--than what I've found at other comparable dog grooming businesses in the Long Beach area. What was especially frustrating is that they have fixed pricing regardless of the size or weight of the dog. For example, I was told that a 4-lb dog would be charged the same price as a 20-lb dog. I also found their policy regarding nail trimming very unreasonable: if you want your dog's nails trimmed, they require a wash as part of the service, which adds approximately $65 to the cost. I initially spoke with Jacqueline and asked to speak with the owner. Jacqueline seemed reluctant to transfer me, but eventually did. I was hoping that speaking directly with the owner would lead to a more customer-focused and flexible response. Unfortunately, I received essentially the same unfriendly and inflexible response. I understand that businesses have policies and set prices, but good customer service should also include listening to customers and making an effort to address their concerns respectfully. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Based on my experience, I would recommend comparing prices and policies with other local groomers before booking.
