She's extremely ANNOYING and her laugh is like finger nails on a blackboard. She clinches her hands in front of her like she's having an anxiety attack! She appears to be very Tense all the time and her occasional commentaries are often inappropriate! She's been there for a LONG time, too long! Fox 5 is politically biased in favor of Donald Trump and doesn't accurately report anti-Trump news. I have been a Fox5 fan for 25 years, but I'm planning on switching to another network even though I think that Tucker Barnes has the best forecast in the DC area. read more

I like the station and programs. There is parking in the building and metro is just a few blocks away. Tatted Cafe is on the first floor of the building. I love "The LION lunch Hour," "Cooking with Como" and "Lights, Camera, McCarthy!" The old "Fantasy Island" was a better format. The new show is not the same. Poor judgement on a recent news update. Identifiers (vehicle description) were given on the death of a woman who was run over by her husband in front of Montgomery County bank. While authorities were in the process of identifying next of kin the news station got way too close to the scene. Very tacky. Its possible that the children of the couple saw the incident on TV before they knew about it otherwise. Clicks and views seem to be prioritized over investigation and learning. I used to LOVE watching the morning show and the 10:00pm sets but now it's like watching and listening to a college news station with valley girls ranting in the shortest dresses, telling the dumbest jokes and competing for who thinks they are the greatest! I really enjoy watching Like it or Not but lately the show seems to have changed where the anchors sit there laughing and not really giving opinions on things. I really like when Sara Fraser is on she is very funny. Tonight (Valentines night) the show was a joke. it was more like the Angie show. Spent a great deal of my morning here. I was working g with the talent on Good Day and had some time to waste so I hung around. Didnt know that the studios were so close, and I enjoyed watching what goes on between commercials. Let me let you in on a secret shhhhhhh...... news broadcasters talk so much during the taping that they are Quiet during commercials and I....GET.....IT!!! Maureen, Holly, Steve, Tucker, Allison, and Erin are great at what they do. The production staff was very nice, and security was nice as well. read more

Doing a great job, however, today there was a comment about why a school wanted girls to be more covered up for splash day. As a teacher, we have children as young as 4,5,6 trying to touch and grab girls. Yes, cover up your girls. I like Fox 5 DC as they cover so much local events the other networks don't cover. However, I agree with many that Goff needs some toning. She yells, doesn't talk in a normal tone and constantly interrupts her peers. But on that note, for some reason, all the reporters on Fox shout. Just watched Blake McCoy and Marina Marraco interview Larry Hogan on their 4pm newscast. Both McCoy and Marraco were very rude interrupting Governor Hogan numerous times during the interview, not letting him fully answer their questions, before they moved on to another question. I learned nothing from their interview. Totally unsatisfactory. read more

Watching Fox 5 10pm news on Saturday. I became very angry when one of the anchorwoman made a comment about a African American young lady with the assistance of two African American police officers. They helped her to delivery a baby. "I'm glad I know she got a pedicure", this comment was not needed. I truly think some of the anchormen/ anchorwoman needs to think before they make a comment. But tonight, Monday June 22, 2020, there were such blatant missteps, errors, from Lafayette Park and hooligans trying to destroy Andrew Jackson's statue. So FOX had on-the-scene reporter Lauren there making us all wonder if she's the Fox News "head" trying to stumble through. In one reporting alone, she stated "4 police officers were arrested" and quickly changed that to "4 police officers were injured." Big difference. Huge difference. But wait. It's not over. Next she used the word "incense" quickly changing the word to "insults." One comes through the nose, the other comes through the ear. Neither is welcome if you don't want it.
