Mary did such a phenomenal job making me feel welcomed I signed up. I recently moved back to Akron after living in Arizona for ten years. I've been a member simultaneously at different gyms for various reasons. I must say Personalized Wellness Center holds up with the best of them. After being a member for two weeks at PWC and coming in at different times here is my sincere review. 1. PWC has a nutrition bar where they make fresh smoothies and offer supplements. (get a fresh smoothie after/before working out) 2. PWC is open 24/7 so you can work out at your convenience. 3.PWC has free weights,bicycles,treadmills,ellipticals, a track and a ton of machines. 4.PWC also has a daycare for kids,a rehabilitation center and also personal trainers. 5. PWC has a practical and reasonable monthly subscription 6.Mature crowd 7.Sauna I've been to gyms on the west coast were you pay $129 a month and gym's were you pay $19 a month. It's the same workout,whether you pay 10k for a rolex or ten dollars for a timex they both tell the same time. The more expensive gym's, yes did have newer equipment, fancier tv's, state of the art sound systems, big smoothie and supplement stores. At the end of the day your body & health transformation depends on YOU!! You have to go into the gym you have to lift the weights,you have to get on the treadmill and you have to want it. Typically not always but typically those big "franchised gyms' it's more of a social hour and people wearing too much cologne/perfume. That doesn't happen at PWC I highly recommend PWC it has everything a big franchise gym has but yet gives you the at home feel

It is a very well designed concept- you work out at one of 9 stations for 3 minutes in succession. This means there are no set start times, but you still get the advantages of a directed workout. The owner was on site and was super welcoming and was encouraging without being overbearing. My partner works out probably ten times per week, and she enjoyed it. I am super out of shape and also enjoyed it, so it is definitely great regardless of fitness level. The owner explained the workouts and was very helpful, but I never felt stupid or out of place. At the end of the class, the owner explained the membership options. He was very clear and open and didn't pressure us. In a sea of fitness options, 9Round stands out and is a great option.

I wanted to wait to write my review after having taken a months worth of classes. I am happy to say…read morethat my opinions of the studio have only improved because my experiences this past month solidified the positive first impression I had on the day I walked in after seeing a sign posted outside. I have taken a range of the beginner classes, including gentle yoga, intro to yoga, yoga basics, and the amazing restorative classes, which are offered several times a week. I could write pages about how much I love this place, but I will try to keep this brief. First of all, the studio is a warm, cozy, inviting environment, and I always immediately become more relaxed by just walking in. The front area has tons of yogi apparel and accessories for sale, and I love the convenience of that. Both of the practice rooms are tastefully, yet simply decorated and the dimmed lights and candles give the rooms a vibe or relaxation and quiet focus. I have taken classes with Melissa and Tricia and I hope to get around to taking classes with the other talented instructors at the studio. The real star, however, is Debbie. As the Brian mentioned, Debbie is one of the warmest, most friendly, genuine people I have met and she welcomed me with such kindness to the area and to the studio on the day that I happened to walk in. She truly cares about each and every person who walks into the studio and she takes her time to make sure you are properly aligned and doing each move correctly when you take her classes. She makes you feel comfortable with trying new things, but she is respectful of personal limitations and varying levels of expertise within any given class. I always leave Lifesource with a renewed sense of calm and relaxation and I am excited to make this place a part of my life here in Akron. I will certainly be extending my membership.

Excellent studio, though the soft-ish flooring is kind of odd. Also have never been in a studio…read morewhere it seemed acceptable for people to come in a few minutes late for a session. But they have great instructors, ample props including very nice bolsters, a clean restroom big enough to change in, and ample parking too. Definitely will be back -- not taking points off for the floor since that's a very personal viewpoint, and not taking points off for the staff letting people come in late since it's a little annoying but not worth complaining too loudly about (forgive yourself and others, right?). (Also would be good for them to have an electronic sign-in process when arriving, but again, these are all very minor complaints and I will absolutely return here. Stacy in particular was an excellent instructor. My only other suggestion would be for them to incorporate more pranayama and mindfulness meditation (for example, I like when instructors advise setting an intention at the beginning of the session, or positive affirmations, or speaking about the value of letting go... all would make nice additions to their classes, unless you prefer more functional and less spiritual/thoughtful yoga practice).

If you want to lose weight he will help you determine your caloric intake and tailors a strength workout specifically for you. When I started with Jason, I didn't think I was very strong. But now I am dead lifting 290lbs, trap lifting about 300 and benching and squating about 150/160. The gym offers semi personal training. Everyone who attends the gym is super friendly and personable. We basically have a RevFit family. The location has ample parking and is always very clean.

I get nervous with any medical procedures, even if it's just a facial, so I did my research on the people who work there and was amazed by their qualifications. There are two Nurse Practitioners on staff who have done extensive training in aesthetics. Upon arriving for my facial, I waited for about 5 minutes before being moved to the back. Everyone working took the proper precautions to keep a safe environment; they were wearing masks, and sanitized everything. During the procedure we had good conversations and laughed. It was like I had known these people my entire life. They gave me great recommendations on what I can do in the future to achieve my goals. There's zero question that Modern Vitality Medical Spa is staffed with a group of professionals that work diligently to help you obtain your desired look. Everyone on staff is inviting and welcoming, and the procedure itself made me feel more relaxed than I've been in a long time. It's so easy to lie on the internet and say you're a professional , then you get there and see it's just careless individuals who try their hardest to scam you. I booked a consultation and I literally sat in there for 5 minutes before she rushed me out , It seemed like I did all the talking. All I got recommended was 900$ of "micro needling" in which I stated I wasn't interested in from the very beginning. I was told I needed to book an appointment to actually get the service done. SO I drive 25 minutes to speak with someone about my skin then leave ? That doesn't make sense. Then she said she could fit me in & that someone was using the machine and I'd have to wait 30 minutes until I'm able to use it. Speaking through a medical mask that makes me feel so comfortable , not really. I scheduled my appointment for a specific time, I expected to be able to have it. When I arrived I stood there for 10 minutes before anyone even came to the front to greet me. They didn't even ask for my name and just took me back, mistakenly about to start a service that was for someone else . The last name of the girl who was supposed to do my facial wasn't matching to the name I scheduled with. Her name tag was completely different then what is listed on the website. I don't believe the girl I spoke with here was a licensed nurse practitioner whatsoever, nor did I see any credentials anywhere in the office. I was gonna spend around 200$ for a hydra facial but I walked right out of there. Thank god I did. Obviously all they care about is money and have no actual knowledge on anything to help the client with skin concerns, so please go somewhere legitimate. This place should be reported for falsification.
