Gary arrived on time, as promised, accessed the proposed gas line, took the time to answer all questions raised by my husband and I and provided several cost options for installing the new line. We were more than please with Wyatt's customer service and willing to keep our appointment as scheduled today. Wyatt made sure we were satisfied and went above and beyond to ensure GREAT service was provided. We would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND WyattWorks to our neighbors and family. The appointment was for a free estimate to run a gas line (currently located in the garage, to the adjacent interior laundry room wall) for a gas dryer. Received a text Wednesday morning stating the technicians were "tied up" for the day and asked if Friday worked to reschedule. I agreed to reschedule for Friday (after some back and forth) between 12n-2p. Sent several follow up text to confirm Friday's appointment - with no response from Wyatt UNTIL Friday morning at 9:40a. Wyatt states "several people called off sick" and forced to reschedule. It is apparent WyattWorks does not value the customer's time nor their commitment to customer service. I scheduled an appointment with these folks for a Monday afternoon at a vacant property and needed to coordinate this so someone could be there. They cancelled shortly before the arrival window BY TEXT and asked for a reschedule. I did not reply to the text, but did get a phone call later that afternoon. The person apologized and we rescheduled for Wednesday after 12 noon. At 11:30 a.m. on the day of the scheduled appointment, they cancelled again BY TEXT. This company wastes your time and energy. The only reason for 1-star review is the $480.00 charge to do NOTHING except replace a kitchen sink faucet with no extenuating issues. I blame myself for doing my homework after the fact rather than before. Because their radio ads emphasize their respect for the customer, I stupidly interpreted that to mean they were also a reasonably priced company. I was so wrong. Digest this for a minute... $480.00 just to replace a faucet! Google: $100-250. Lowe's does it for $99.00! They tried to justify the price by "reminding" me that they highly train their techs (by the way, I had no issue with them; although, in hindsight, their friendliness now just feels like part of their Marketing Plan rather than anything authentic.) All said, the only feeling WyattWorks left me with is feeling like a chump for trusting them. I was stupid. I should have paid their 59.00 charge and sent them on their way. Mistakes were made, but solid 4 stars for the way they made it right. Our main water line was leaking and we needed it replaced, Wyatt works was the best price and we liked their explanation of the issue and the repair. Unfortunately the team that came to make the repair made mistakes damaging our irrigation system and then bungling the repair of that system. When the water line was replaced all was good for a day or so but then the connection they made under the house burst apart leaving us with no water in the house and hundreds of gallons spewing in our crawl space. I called them and they had someone out in 30 minutes to take care of everything. To make the situation right they paid for a water mitigation company to inspect the crawlspace and dry it out, they paid for my irrigation company to repair the damaged system and gave me a credit for my water overages for the buerst connection. plus they sent us cookies and a card letting us know they were sorry for the whole mess. Every company makes mistakes but Wyatt Works they own up to it when they do and they make it right. I will definitely use them again because they will make it right if they screw up. read more

The plumbing install went great. We added a new water softener. However the installer added a four way plug to an outlet under our crawl. This outlet was connected to our condensate pump for hvac. It's been throwing a breaker daily for 2 weeks. They say they can at fox they aren't electricians. This situation was created by this very statement Tired of crawling under my house to reset the breaker. read more

I was really looking forward to leaving a positive review, because I like the ethics that they advertise. Unfortunately after Wyatt Works not showing up after three appointments, I had to write them off. The first two times they called on the morning of the appointment to reschedule due to people being out due to sickness. The third time they didn't even call, so I called them and they had no idea why no one was at my house. While the person on the phone was very nice and offered to let me reschedule, I had to decline because I could not afford to reschedule my life around a service provider who does not value my time. IMHO I would avoid using Wyatt Works for anything critical or at all, while they have nice radio commericals, I don't think they have the organization that supports their advertised service levels. read more

Called Wyattsworks for to discuss service - the main location is in Ohio. The rep was kind and communicated well. The two technicians were professionals and seemingly knowledgeable access the issue at the complimentary initial encounter. The recommendation was for next day was hydro jet and sewer inspection video. I asked for a quote and that the guy had started while chatting with his boss. He then informed me he was instructed not to provide an exact quote but initially it would be $1200 approx. He then requested a deposit for the work and I wrote a $300 deposit (check) it was around 3:35 or 4pm I discussed this quote range with my family and spouse as well as called around and spoke with other professionals in the industry. Next I googled hydro jet cost and video. The price range varied $550-1100. We decided to get second opinions. I with in an hour I called Wyatt's the local number and spoke with Josh Wyatt's and he asked me to let him see what he could do with the numbers he would send a quote via email. He did exactly that. We played phone tag - then I spoke with him and agreed to reply to his quote - he stated that he would honor the quote if we decided to used Wyatt's (Attaching the quote and fine print to this review). He came down some and it was around the amount he stated he would via a phone chat. I acknowledged receipt of the quote via email. After taking part of the evening to review the quote and fine print. We decided to take another route. I emailed Josh that night to state we would not be moving forward and to please discard/ destroy the check written for the deposit. I never heard back from Josh and thought indeed to were clear - silence means you understand and agree. Well the check was deposited / cashed. I immediately email Josh it was too late to call. Now we are on the next business day. There has been no response to my email so I called this morning. I we planned the reason for my call the check being deposited. I was informed Josh was on a call. I requested he respond by both or either my email and or my call. Nothing- no response either way. I would be alert and careful about doing business with Wyattsworks --if this is their true business model - I believe it is. read more

I don't usually leave or read reviews on yelp. If I had I might not have called Wyatt Works but I am very glad I did. On the 3rd of July (yes, the day before a major holiday) I discovered the city of charlotte had left a notice on my front door saying "You're using a lot of water, we checked our meter and it isn't broken so you probably have a leak!" I have Morris-Jenkins priority advantage for my HVAC and now they've branched out into plumbing so they came out that evening; the 3rd of July, and verified it was the line going into my house from the meter and nothing leaking in or under my house. They offered me 3 different services: Standard, Deluxe or Premium for replacing the line. I picked the deluxe package. No one is open on the 4th so I had time to realize that I should really get a 2nd estimate. Called Wyatt Works the morning of the 5th. They came out that day and gave me an estimate several thousand dollars less than Morris-Jenkins. I said "sold". They moved things around to get to this quickly since it involved water leaking at a pretty good rate. They said I could finance it thru Greensky which may have been an option with M-J but it wasn't offered. So with my good credit I got approved for Greensky thru Wyatt Works very quickly. That made it so Wyatt Works could start working on scheduling me asap. Plumbers and most other people who come work on your house want payment on completion of that work so getting the job financed was a big deal for me! This is now the 10th and the line is replaced. They were great guys that were friendly and respectful. Did not run into any issues and were able to get everything done in about half a day. Had to spend some extra time on the phone trying to let Greensky know to accept the charge Wyatt Works was making to my newly made account. But it's been a very good experience using them and A LOT cheaper than M-J. A LOT!!! I mean a BIG difference! Always get more than 1 estimate and I'm happy I got Wyatt Works for this job. read more

Really good experience with the team here! Very quick to respond (via Yelp, text AND phone) and were very detailed and clear in their responses, pricing and suggestions. They were competitive with the handful of other quotes we got as well. We thought our water heater needed replaced and they were going to be able to get someone out same day! Even with the influx of business during the Covid madness, they were very accommodating with scheduling since we had no hot water. Our technician (Mike) arrived when scheduled and was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. Turns out we had an issue with our pilot light and was able to get us hot water back in minutes! He did a thorough inspection before just proceeding with the replacement and was very honest. We didn't even question that we needed a completely new tank (which would have cost us a significant amount of money) and could have easily been taken advantage of us. Instead, it was a small trip charge and we were back in business. Also, if that fix doesn't hold up, that charge is applied to the work if they need to come back out! Not sure how much time the fix will buy us since we have an older unit, but when the time does come for a replacement or any other plumbing needs, we will be sure to call the team at WyattWorks Plumbing right away! They came out within a few hours of our plumbing backup and promptly figured out the issue. They immediately got started digging and replacing the damaged portions of the line and limited the repair to the necessary sections. They went above and beyond and replaced an extra portion of the old pipe without charging us extra. We felt very confident in their knowledge and ability and they put our minds at ease. Customer service was good but got charged outrageously. It wasn't an emergency service and made an appointment. Got charged $540 for a less than $50 part I could have bought. Service guy showed up at 8AM and was finished by 8:40 AM. So not even a hour worth of labor. My mom doesn't speak English very well and I was here to help with translating. We feel like we got taken advantage of. Should have shopped around for a better quote. Not impressed with the amount they charged us. Granted they gave us a $30 dollar off coupon but still upset about the up charge for the part. Can't give zero stars. The plumber was friendly so I gave a star. Posted photos of the invoice, the part that was installed, and a quick search on the same part. read more

The charges seemed a bit on the high side but I attribute this to the urgency and would still use this company again based on the value. This company does not schedule actual appointments. They only schedule update phone calls. These are calls to inform you if/when they would be able to come out (that day or another day). If they have business deemed more important they will not come out. Ultimately due to this system, they were never able to service our property. In addition, this "appointment" (or lack thereof) policy was not clearly communicated during the initial phone call. If it had I would have sought out a different company. When I recommended that perhaps the scheduling system be communicated during the initial phone call, to save everyone time (as I mentioned we wouldn't have continued trying to schedule with this company if we had known that was the case) the customer service representative was combative, argumentative, and dismissive. They wasted a week of time during a critical time constraint period. Would not recommend wasting your time trying to schedule with them. read more

I would not waste time with this outfit. They tell you what you want to hear ("We'll be there tomorrow") and, they won't quote their rates. They say they have to go to your house before they can quote their rates. I am an out-of-state owner, and needed a plumber to work on a house I own in Gastonia. I contacted WyattWorks, and they stated someone would call my tenant to set up an appointment. Jeremy Wallace was assigned to the case, and he arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. He took a look at the plumbing issues, drew up an invoice, and called me to advise what he found, and the cost to repair. We gave the go-ahead. The office emailed the invoice to me, I was able to sign, scan and email back for Jeremy to begin the work. Jeremy called when he was finished, emailed photos of before and after, and took the payment over the phone. First rate service from start to finish.
