It's literally floor to ceiling random but neatly organized merchandise (think Bed Bath & Beyond meets Ollies) all at crazy reasonable prices. The cashiers were super friendly and neatly bagged everything with care for the easiest and safest lugging back to my car. Check them out for home goods and also for party and kids books and toys.

Instead, it's a garden store mixed with decor, chachkees, unique items, and a little book nook + coffee/tea shop. During the Christmas season, this would be an amazing place to get a thoughtful, curated gift. They had the MOST unique, handcrafted ornaments. (I love weird, different decor and this is definitely the spot for it.) The prices are a little elevated, but certainly worth the gems you'll find here. When we strolled around, we found multiple accessible greenhouses. There was a cute station with a seat for Santa, and a warm greenhouse with chairs and tables where I could just sit forever. An artist's paradise! My mother-in-law shared that the decor and layout changes every season. Can't wait to stop by now that it's spring to see what this beautiful spot has morphed into. It's not a huge property but they have it laid out in such a way that it feels like it is. Pathways adorned with sculptures, fountains and archways leading through gardens of unique plants organized by theme and exposure. Plants that do well in shade are located in shady areas. Those that do well in sun are in sunny spots, etc. There is a cafe located on the property where you can get a very proper latte, cappuccino, espresso and enjoy it in a garden setting complete with vintage and rustic tables and chairs. They also have a little gift shop with plant themed decor and accessories. I have been a La Serra customer for a few years now. It used to feel like a best kept secret kind of place. However, the secret is apparently out. It can get pretty busy from time to time. But go with the flow. Even when busy it's still a great way to chill for an hour or so. Check it out.

The buildings have red awnings and right next to the Wells Fargo. You'll also pass the Goodwill so you can get your thrift on before or after heading to the café. There's a lot of parking available and I got a spot very close to the entrance of the café. The exterior is super cute and has a few tables. I arrived around 10:30 and it was pretty busy, but there was plenty of seating available. The barista was nonchalant, but polite. I ordered the plot twist with almond milk and Matcha instead of espresso. I asked the barista about the brand of the matcha they use and she replied "Dona." LOL. Super nonchalant. I also ordered an everything croissant. While I was waiting for my drink, I looked up the Dona Matcha and found some helpful info about it. It didn't seem to be that green tea powder stuff, so I was intrigued. This interaction almost ruined my experience, but after a sip of my drink and finishing that everything croissant with scallion cream cheese, I felt better! The plot twist Matcha had white chocolate syrup, some lavender, stawberry, and topped with fruity pebbles. It was sweet, creamy, and complimented the Matcha really well. The croissant was savory, soft, and flaky, and the scallion cream cheese went well with it. There were outlets under each of the tables and along the counter, which is really nice if you're planning on getting work done, which is what I did. It was really cold inside, so bring a sweater! Overall, I would say this is worth visiting. There were groups of moms with their kids, girlfriends, guys. It's a nice space to gather with community and of course - buy and read books.

We visited today for the Mother's Day Queen's Tea. I called to make a reservation 2 months in advance since they book up so quickly. In general, reservations are recommended as seating is limited, especially on weekends. When you arrive, you are presented with a prix-fix menu. On non-holidays, you usually have a choice between the soup or the salad of the day. You select your pot of tea from over 60 premium tea flavors. Today, I chose the "Paris" special tea, which had notes of vanilla, caramel, and bergamot. For the Mother's Day Queen's Tea, we had the broccoli and cheddar quiche, a pear, goat cheese, candied walnut, mixed green salad, scones, assorted mini sandwiches, and several mini desserts. Every course was fresh and excellent. The caramel scones are one of the best things I have ever eaten. They are served warm with clotted cream and lemon curd. The caramel is so goey and melts in your mouth. We brought some orange juice and prosecco to have mimosas with our tea. They have glassware in the back that you can request when making your reservation. The service is always top-notch. Holly is the best server! She is super sweet and always hardworking. At the entrance, there is a little gift shop with lots of cute vintage items, tea-themed trinkets, and some of the loose lea tea available in small bags. My first visit, a few months ago, I was so pleasantly surprised by how much they had packed into that store but yet it didn't feel chaotic. Even visiting just before the holidays you'd expect the place to be a mess.. not this one! All the good stuff is there... pillows, fluffy bath towels in every color, photo frames of every size, dishes, baskets, and some crazy furniture pieces. And of course it's all at the price point we know and love. Bonus points for the fact that this location is (a) easy to get to right off of 46, (b) next to a Marshalls, and (c) offers plenty of parking.
