I'll be the first to admit that I had some anxiety going into my first appointment with Dr. Okuda since I was making a permanent decision at such a young age. The experience I had at Dr. Okudas office was like no other dental office I've been too. They live up their name dental day spa! Before the procedure started they had me choose movies on Netflix that I got to watch through movie glasses which made time fly by so quickly. I also had a foot, leg, arm and hand massage during the whole procedure. And when they gave me a quick break I also got a neck massage along with a jaw massage. I can't even explain how wonderful it felt and what an experience it was to have been so relaxed during a dental procedure! I had two teeth in the front and three teeth in the back worked on. I choose dr Okuda to fix my front teeth because I know how hard it is to match an existing tooth with composite. I was so amazed when I seen the finished product. You can't tell my natural tooth from my teeth he worked on. Oh Dr. Okuda, office and entire staff - ( especially the fabulous receptionist!) how do I love thee..! Dr. Okuda is extremely professional and knowledgeable, the facility is amazing - it really looks and feels like you are in a spa, not a dental office. Fortunately, I do not need cosmetic dental work ( but I have seen Dr. Okuda's work and it looks perfect). I go in for regular teeth cleanings and check ups. I love it! During my cleanings, I receive a hand and foot massage treatment, a warm blanket and listen to music ..... it certainly takes the 'edge' off of visiting the dentist. The teeth cleaning is actually 'relaxing' and my teeth always look smooth and shiny! I am giving Dr. Okuda's office 4 stars rather than 5 because of their payment policy. Be prepared to pay the full amount upfront ( even if you have dental ins.) Dr. Okuda's office requires that you pay the full amount up front and then they submit a claim to your insurance company and then the insurance company sends you a check for the covered portion. I am sure this makes it easier on Dr. Okuda because he gets paid upfront and does not need to deal with billing - but it makes it more difficult on the client because they have to wait for the insurance company to reimburse them. I wish they charged this policy. Other than the payment policy, this place is PERFECT : ) Parking is easy - underground lot and the office validates Beautiful office, amazing staff and great dentist! read more

Staff remembers me and is friendly, complimentary refreshments, gooooorgeous and CLEAN office, and care I trust. These are all to be expected of any professional establishment, but sadly is not always the case. In addition to all this are bonuses! They aren't kidding when they say "spa." Massages that relax you through the procedure can be expected as well as MOVIE GOGGLES, yes... I said it: MOVIE GOGGLES (where you watch movies through goggles) while a procedure is being done.
