As we were getting ready to head home, I had read in their ad in the local newspaper that they featured fresh Florida lobster. So I delayed our departure a couple hours just to make sure we stopped here for lunch. The restaurant has an outside bar and patio dining plus inside a/c dining. We chose to sit in the inside. I'd asked the server what Florida lobster dishes they offered and the prices. She said they had two -- lobster bites and a lobster tail. I order the tail with sweet potato fries as my side. When the meal came, I saw that what was delivered was NOT fresh Florida lobster. The manager (?) told me they hadn't pulled the traps yet and didn't have any Florida lobster -- which was strange as it was almost a week into the season and their two ads touted it. Anyhow, he suggested the snapper instead and I chose the coconut yellowtail sandwich from their specials. This was barely edible -- over fried, over cooked, and dried out. I took only a couple bites and coins t even eat the rest. Meanwhile, my husband had ordered the cracked conch appetizer. We've had this all over Florida (he's a native) and in the Carribean. This version was quite different. It had large square pieces of conch in a heavy fried batter. I would not recommend this dish, either.
