The contract included wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping. Across multiple visits, only the floors were swept and mopped. Surfaces were not wiped at all -- even after my staff clearly labeled areas that needed cleaning. My team personally observed the work each time and had to clean afterward. When I raised the issue, the worker on site told me he wasn't paid enough to do the work being requested and that I should take it up with the owner. I did reach out to the owner, offered opportunities to correct the issue, and even suggested different staffing. Instead of addressing performance, the response shifted toward enforcing the contract and later attempting to reprice completed work. I ultimately discontinued the service due to repeated nonperformance. The experience did not match what was sold to me in terms of professionalism or results. I would not recommend this service for businesses that need reliable, thorough janitorial work.

We went through what I was looking for and she reassured me that there wasn't anything they couldn't or wouldn't do. She sent me an estimate and we went from there. We scheduled a day for us to meet up, since I had to drive 3 hours to meet them at the property in order to give them enough time to complete the task required. It was a lot to do and a few things were added along the way including additional time to complete. Garrett was super friendly and extremely positive. They did an amazing job and I am very pleased. Initially I told the owner that I wanted to have her clean the fridge,…read morestove, oven etc. She said "OK" Well when she got to my residence/ new home she said that the fridge, stove and oven were extra as well as cleaning the inside of the cabinets. I then called the woman who was going to clean my apartment. She was charging me the same exact price to do her cleaning yet the inside of the cabinets, stove, oven and fridge were included in the price. Well the owner then told me that she would throw in the fridge and cabinets. I really just wanted her to communicate these extra charges before she came out to my home to clean. When she cleans windows she charges separately for each side of the windows e.g. inside and outside. I told her upfront that someone was coming in to change out the toilet. This is the only way that I could schedule it before my move in. Well when the plumbers were removing the old toilet some of the water from the tank got on the carpeting. The cleaning folks also steam cleaned my carpets. I mentioned to the owner that I wanted to reclean the carpet where the water from the toilet dripped on it. She said with a big smile "we're not going to bring out the steam cleaner again" I told her that she should give the client what they need or ask for. As long as it's reasonable. Nope, they were not going to bring out the steam cleaner again. I told her that when she refused to help me reclean the carpet in that tiny area I decided that our relationship would end. She told me that I should of had the toilet fixed BEFORE she got there and that she shouldn't have to clean up someone else's mess. I then said to her "well didn't you just clean up after the individual's mess who used to live here?" I told her that schedules don't always work exactly like you want. We didn't have a written contract. There was nothing stated about my needing to have the toilet put in BEFORE they did their cleaning. I am the boss. I pay their salary. They do what I ask or I find someone else to do the next job. Re-steam cleaning that tiny area of carpet would have been very easy. She also chose to set the oven on self clean. We ended the cycle early because it was taking too long. Well when they were waiting outside I opened up the oven. She had not cleaned at all in the oven and it was FILTHY. She could have checked it one more time before they left so she could have finished the job. When it came time to pay she threw a number at me. I told her that I would like to see how she got that total. She said "but you told me you would pay whatever" She kept repeating that statement over and over. Yes, I did say that I would pay whatever the cost was relative to the items I asked her to do. I didn't mean that she could just throw any number at me without showing me a breakdown of the charges or that "whatever" meant that I would give her a blank check. She said angrily "I want to get paid for my work!" Yes, I know that, but first give me a breakdown of charges. I am not going to pay you "whatever" without getting an accurate number. When she totaled up the charges I actually had to pay more than the first number she gave me. She also spent a lot of time on the phone while working. A couple of times I needed to ask her questions, but she was tied up on the phone. She didn't bring oven cleaner. I went and purchased some for her. I will end up cleaning the oven myself. I told her upfront that I have incurable stage 4 cancer metastasis in my spine. I was originally going to pay her through PayPal, but with the negative dynamics going on I chose to write her a check. I will find a more professional cleaning service for my future needs.
