I've been wanting to get the windows on my 2012 Acura TSX tinted for awhile now. I've been hesitant because I didn't want my windows darker, I simply wanted the UV tint. I want the UV tint because I drive a lot and it will help protect me and the interior when we are out and about. I also park in the sun at work. My boyfriend scheduled the appointment and negotiated the price. I got the color stable series in the lowest tint. There were some moisture bubbles in the tint when I got my car back. They eventually disappeared within three days. My trunk had a lot of water in it and they left plastic wrap from the tint material in the back seat. It was just really unprofessional in my opinion. My boyfriend called them about the water (which got over all my stuff) and they said that some water probably got in the trunk when they were installing the tint on my back window. Overall, the tint turned out great. However, the execution wasn't so great. I would take my car back here again...but I would take all my stuff out of the trunk. read more

It's tough to find a really good, reputable, reliable, no nonsense automotive window tinting place. That's why when I discovered this hidden gem, it's been my go-to place to get all my cars done. Including my wife's car. Ive been a customer since 2009 and it's 2018 today and still going. I just got my windows tinted recently and my wife will get hers done next weekend. What I find most attractive about this place is the customer service, the quality film they use, lifetime warranty, and the years and years of experience installing tinted film of different kind. They stand by their work. Any issues, you just bring your car in or make an appointment. They're always busy but that's because they have a large customer base. When you've been in business for 25+ years, you know they're going something right. Price wise, you'll pay a little more than the local tint shops, but you're getting higher quality tint and workmanship. Returning customers get loyalty discounts so it's all good. My lower end car's all get the 3M Color Stable tint. Dark on rear and passenger windows, medium on the front. This is a very common combination so most likely if you're reading this, you'll end up getting that too. For high end cars, I recommend the 3M Crystalline tints. Now they don't get as dark, but the film is specially designed for almost near heat blockage. Huge difference than the tint I'm getting. They do cost double the price which is why you want this on more expensive cars. The darkest Crystalline tint is a medium, and it's a brownish color. Their light Crystalline tint has a nicer bluish tint to it. That's what I would most likely end up getting. If I have an Audi or a GT-R lol. The person that helped me was Fillipe and was very easy going, and worked with you on what you want. Because they're so busy, I recommend setting up an appointment. If you get lucky, they may be able to squeeze you in due to a cancellation. read more

I seriously thought I wrote a review for this place...? I was referring ANOTHER person on the club lexus forums to this location and decided to check out my sweet photo of my Nebula Grey Lexus RX 350 F Sport with clear bra and tint. I got the car almost a year ago! I took my car to Louise and Felipe and got my car with a full front xpel ultimate clear bra as well as the door cups, edges, a pillars, and front part of the roof. I also later did the rear trunk as it got alot of scratches there. I also did 3m CS tint for the front, rears, and pano moon roof. I must have got over 10 quotes from the valley, to even norcal. The prices of this place blow out every other competition out of the water. No job is perfect. I had to go back a few times to get a few things adjusted and fixed. There was a cut in my tint and although it didn't affect the tint at all and was on the roof and hidden, it bothered me. He took it back and redid it. Sometimes the edges of the clear bra didn't line up. He simply trimmed it and it was good to go. They stand by what they do and are not afraid to REDO the job free of charge. They take their time and don't rush and don't push you to buy more stuff. The wife just got a Prius Prime and we needed tint badly. I called Louise and he did a great job with the crazy curves of the windows. No problems and the best prices around the OC and the valley. read more

I let them tint 3 of my vehicles based on a referral. I knew I was paying a lot but allowed the jobs to go through. Returned to request a price to do a new car, they tried to get me for $800, when other shops, reputable shops were at $475 not to mention I got a better deal at another reputable shop for $200. Same quality, same sun rays rejecting type film, lifetime warranty etc. its just window tint. This place should evaluate price gouging and understand people work hard for their money. I've been a loyal customer at tint zone in rowland heights for the past 8 years. Had about 6 cars tinted at TintZone. I go through cars like pair of underwears... lol. Joking aside, unfortunately TintZone was closed for extended period over the holidays. Thus, i was reluctant to try different shop. But with my current availability and new car, I decided to call around for some quotes. Many shop were already booked for the day... but luckily I found Xact tint shop in Ontario. After assessing the location, price and quality of the film used... i decided to jump and take the chance. I can say with much confidence that my jump turned into a good decision. I am not a fan of llumar or johnson films from past experience. The film tend to be thinner and doesnt reject heat too well. After using 3M film for the past 4 vehicles.. i have become a fan for 3M tint films. I called the shop and spoke with the owner (Luis) who quoted me for the 3M FX premium film. These are decent tint film and was pleased with the price quoted for my car. Upon arrival at the shop, I did notice the FX premium film has slight greenish tone. Although the UV protection is 99%, i preferred little more heat rejection and more gray tone color. Thus, i opted to upgrade to the 3M color stable series. It cost me $70 more, but was well worth the price. I opted for 5% limo tint for the rear window... and 20% for the side doors (i like mine to be even on the doors). What i really appreciate about the shop was they use laser cut to mfg specs... so the lines are perfect along the edges. The while process took roughly 2 hours, but i could tell it was done with much attention to detail as i found no air bubbles or irregular streaks. There are some visible water bubbles.. which will eventually disappear once dried. The shop is clean and the work bay area is even cleaner. Probably one of the cleanest tint shop I've seen. All work comes with life time guarantee as well. If this works out...i may be coming to this shop for future tints as it is closer to my home and use of authentic 3M products are hard to come by unless you pay so much more elsewhere. read more

Luis has tinted for me since 2001. Back than he had a mobile service and tinted my 01 accord. Today that same tint is still perfect, no change in color or bubbles. Since than I've taken to him the following cars: Honda accord, Honda del sol, Acura CL, Honda CRV, Mazda RX-8, subaru Impreza, Toyota Camry, Saab 9-2x, Lexus IS300 sportcross Never an issues with the quality of work that he does. Every time I'm there, he is working on either a Lexus, a BMW, or a Merc, and he always stops and make time for me. I just bought a 2014 BMW 328i GT (Gran Turismo) which is a car that BMW does not make many of (i.e., it is rather rare) but it is also the first year of production for it. Regardless of how new this car is to the market, Chris and Felipe were able to accommodate my request. Luckily for me there was a cancellation that afternoon (11/14/2014) so I was able to get it completed promptly. The car looks even more awesome now and people can't look in to the back (dark 3M Color Stable [CS20]) and the front was done to make it a bit more difficult to see in (medium 3M Color Stable [CS35]) which may be illegal but should not garner enough attention to get pulled over. After 3 days of driving with it I am very satisfied. I'll update my post in the future and will post a picture as well.
