I've had an injury in my hip that Lauren has worked on 3 times. The first 2 times were right after the injury occurred. She did deep tissue work to encourage healing. In May 2016, this charlatan, under the guise of doing physical therapy with me in a medical office, caused me to have a tear in the meniscus of my right knee. She is not a licensed physical therapist. The chiropractor in the medical office prescribed PT treatments with Lauren and I complied. I have weak ligaments due to hypermobility. She was helping me work on my core to protect my knees & ankles. Then an issue came re my mixed brain dominance & how that affected my motor function. So she had me do an exercise that's called a grapevine. I didn't know it at the time, but this exercise is contra-indicated for anyone with weak knee joints. I didn't know it then, and the result was an excruciating knee injury. That office had used up all my Medicare Therapy coverage. In fact they had gone way over the limit, but I had no idea. They must be very good at gaming the system; somehow they kept getting reimbursed. And in the aftermath of the injury, the chiropractor treated it like it was an arthritic inflammation for a couple of weeks, but I was in constant debilitation and severe pain, and it wasn't getting any better. That's when The chiropractor finally admitted that I should probably go for an MRI. The MRI revealed the torn meniscus. Lauren and those other people threw me under the bus. They turned their backs on me and wouldn't help me. I couldn't afford to pay out of pocket for the physical therapy that the orthopedist prescribed for me in order to bring my knee back to a functional state. I had to go months and months doing what I could for myself. That resulted in permanent damage!!! The problem moved from knee to ankle, from one leg to the other. My hips started having problems. Because when one joint is injured other joints are called upon to function in ways that stress them. And now after two years and a few months, my left hand is in dire condition. Why? Because I've had to use my hands to help support me in getting up because my legs have lost the strength to lift me on their own. I had stretched ligaments in my left thumb for a number of years. Now the muscles have atrophied. The brace I had been using for salon was obviously not sufficient to protect me from this added stress to my thumb and wrist. I'm waiting to see a hand doctor to find out what if any help I can get. (And how much do you think I trust medical practitioners and therapists in the aftermath of this iatrogenic catastrophe??!?) All because Lauren didn't know what the fuck she was doing. Because she needed to take into consideration my knees when she was having me do an exercise to help coordinate my brain with motor functions. But she wasn't thinking! Oops! Her "oops" is a lifetime of misery for me. You will think Lauren is a fairy princess who is just so kind and mellow and "spiritual". To me she's a self-serving whore who didn't give a damn, didn't apologize, didn't check to see how I was doing. Nothing. Because all those people are worried about is liability instead of worrying about the patients whose lives they take into their hands. Douglas Davies is the So-called neurologist in that office. Jill Ruesch-Lane is the know it all chiropractor who obviously doesn't know it all. She should have been supervising the person who was doing physical therapy treatments on me. This is on her too...BIG TIME!!! Lauren et. al. ruined my body for the rest of my life! The system does not make it easy to stop them, because I tried. They are very nice to you until they hurt you, and then they tell you to go "f" yourself and close the door in your face. A little lesson: This seemed like a personal injury to me. When these people would do nothing to help me out, I tried to get help from a lawyer. But it turns out that it's considered malpractice. Do assholes like this turn it into their insurance company?? Because they have to carry malpractice insurance. Well, no they don't. They take no responsibility whatsoever. And NO Malpractice attorney will touch a case like this. It's too labor-intensive for them and too hard to prove. Nobody is there to help you when you're injured by medical people. It is a travesty. Lauren Haze should be ashamed of herself. What she did to me has negatively affected my ability to properly do my work. And sometimes in the process of working I have to do things that take a toll on the joints that are already so compromised. There's no way around it except to stop working and end up unable to support myself. It's taken away the mobility I used to have. I can't walk for exercise the way I used to. I was trying to fortify my joints and my physical body in working with those people. I knew that as I aged, if I didn't do that I was going to have severe problems. Well look who caused me worse problems than I could have imagined...the "HEALERS"!!! read more

I've gotten treatments before from Lauren at Xalted Body and when she suggested doing a remote treatment on me--given the pandemic--I wasn't sure how that would work, but I decided to go for it. The long and short of it is that whether she's there in the room with you or working on you from another location doesn't really matter. I was suffering for a year from a knee problem that required deep icing after each work out. I had spent thousands of dollars at the physical therapist, which only gave me short-term relief. Luckily, I turned to Lauren for help. She took time for a deep evaluation of the history of my pain, and then to observe my gait and positioning. Her keen observation led to the discovery of a fundamental misalignment that the PT had missed altogether. By teaching me to use different muscles and to strengthen them through some simple exercises, my problem leg got realigned and the knee no longer had to bear any stress. That, along with an anti-inflammatory diet, has helped me to be pain-free and I am able to dance and work out without further injury or ice downs.
