Before making an appointment, I visited their website and noticed that the Ultherapy service I was interested in was listed as available at the Fort Collins location. I called ahead to schedule a consultation specifically for Ultherapy. When the consultation began, I was asked which services I wanted to discuss. I mentioned Ultherapy along with two other services. Surprisingly, the consultant seemed confused and asked me to clarify what I was referring to. I repeated 'Ultherapy,' and she responded that she had never heard of it. I explained it was listed on their website, and that I specifically told the receptionist this was the service I was looking for. To my surprise, the consultant then informed me that she specializes in fillers and doesn't know much about lasers. She left to check with the front desk and came back to inform me that the machine for Ultherapy was currently out of service, with no estimated time for repairs. She suggested that someone would call me when it was operational, but also added that it likely wouldn't be any time soon. This entire experience left me with zero confidence in this place. From the receptionist, who set me up with a consultant unfamiliar with Ultherapy, to the lack of alternatives or recommendations for the other two services I mentioned--it felt very unprofessional. When I arrived, the lobby was empty, and there were four employees seemingly standing around. I was called in right away, but the entire interaction felt dismissive and unorganized. The experience was fine until 2 weeks went by and I saw zero results. When I called they informed me I needed to contact them within 7 days. Botox doesn't set in totally for 2 weeks so I waited until that time. My body usually responds quickly to and type of injection. I saw no change at all. After talking to other injectors they informed me that the injection was obviously diluted and done wrong. Not being in a great financial situation for awhile I saved and saved. I still had red spots five weeks later after tattoo removal on April 11th. They told me that they have a new laser that's just really strong so it's not their fault. They don't know how to use this laser properly. If it's too strong they should be adjusting it down. I've had tattoo removal before at a different place and have never had an issue. Every experience at Xanadu has been wonderful, positive and inviting. I have been going there for years. Mark and his staff are helpful especially when I wasn't sure about the injections I was having done. I had three different ladies. I have returned feeling sure that I was in great hands. My Aunt from Florida recently visited me and wanted to get a lift she's 70 she was hesitant to do more than her cheeks, but needed a lip lift really, she said NO all the way there in the car. " I am not doing my lip's no way!!" Well, she met with Alexis and she felt so comfortable with how Alexis explained to her she would have a subtle change that would enhance her look and her husband of 55 years would love it but not really notice a huge change. My aunt was convinced that if did this she would look like she did THAT to her face. Worst experience ever, and I did not even get a massage there. I went on line and booked a couples massage, set up a time, took the day off work, planned the day with the girlfriend. Paid in advance, got 3 different emails confirming a couples massage. 20 minutes before the schedule start time is get a call sating they only have 1 massage therapist there because "I only booked 1 couples massage not 2 of them" turns out when you schedule a couples massage you need to schedule 2 couples massages in order for you each to get a massage. That to me sounds like just booking 2 different massages. Why even call it a couples massage if you need to book 2 of them. I was already there so when I went in and talked to them, they were both very dismissive acting like it was my fault for not knowing a couples massage was not a couples massage. Did not offer anything to make it right. I for one would never go there and I warn everyone to avoid them. It also looks like it is never the fault of the spa and always the fault of the customer. If you look at every bad review it is always someone else's fault. Also let me state that I was told since no service was done I would get a refund. It's crazy how unprofessional they are about making and keeping their appointments. My first appointment with them was canceled without them actually informing me, so I showed up and the person who could do the treatment wasn't there. So I had to come back weeks later, and they'd canceled the first part of the Groupon I purchased because there was a fundraiser somewhere, so if I want to get something I'd paid for done, I'd have to go there again. If I could give Xanadu no stars, I would. Before booking my appointment, I read through their website to be sure there was nothing else I needed to do. A few days before my appointment, I received an automatic email that my appointment had been canceled with no other communication. I called in to inquire and was told they had to "move me to another provider" because of a system error and they booked me a consult in addition. I asked twice if my regular appointment to have the service done was still in place and was told yes. If the aftercare and consult were so important, why didn't the person who I talked to stress that? I stressed that I had a tight timeline so I needed to be sure. Took time off of work and showed up to my appointment on time. I was told that they could only do the consult and there was nothing they could do otherwise. Completely disappointing experience and a waste of my time. I had an opportunity to book with my normal salon and should have taken it! EDIT: The owner responded below with a whole bunch of BS. No message was ever left for me - I have double and triple-checked. Not sure why I would have to take an antiviral when I've never had a cold sore (unsafe? Quite a word to use here). I saw Spencer for a massage and I can tell you he is AMAZING. I had asked for someone that is good at deep tissue massage and they told me Spencer would be perfect. They were right. I left a review here and they called me twice to argue that it was somehow my fault for not coming back and paying them more money. Well, I've doing botox since 2000 and I know a good treatment. I paid extra for the holidays and regret not investing my money elsewhere. The injectionist literally told me I was a liar on the phone when I said I'd been there 5x. She was so eager to prove herself right and the customer wrong that I hung up feeling defeated and depressed. That's the kind of salon experience I had for $500 and no results. Trying to converse with someone to get my medication has been difficult. They were very rude when I asked about getting my medication, and they suggested that I call to keep up with my own medication when it's ready. Telling me it's not their job to do that. It's very disappointing when you spend soo much money to receive this kind of customer service. I am pretty sure they filled my prescription with saline instead because it does not work since I took this first dose of 30. Edit: thank you for the reply, but the last thing anyone would want to do in my situation is go back to the same person to "talk about it". It wasn't accidental, she was careless. If that is your best solution for all this, then no thank you. I would've accepted an offer to see someone else, but it's not my responsibility to fix this issue with that particular employee. I've been getting Botox since the early 2000's. I know what works for my face and what I like to see. I've had a few experiences at Xanadu over the years, always good. I had my second appointment ever with Alexis and was so excited because she had done a great job once before. I check in, she comes out, ready to leave for the day. They tell her she has one more appointment and she is confused, complaining that I wasn't on the schedule. I mentioned that I had made the appointment 3 weeks before...she is clearly not happy. So we go back and she is in such a hurry. I've never had such a fast injection. It's like she was dotting me with a pen. Fast forward a few weeks. The Botox has set in and the major area I asked to have treated, the glabella (angry 11's) has been weighted down by the heavy amount she hastily put in my upper forehead. Both times I had been there I told her that I like to be able to raise my eyebrows, so go easy up above. She did it perfectly the first visit. Now it is 2 months after the rushed job she did, I still cannot raise my eyebrows and my glabella is worse (weighed down) than it is without Botox. I don't know about the rest of the staff, I would just not recommend Alexis. First appointment or last appointment of the day shouldn't matter; I deserved better treatment. It was only another ten minutes out of her day. There is really nothing I could do at any point but just wait it out. I decided to leave this review after seeing the owner's responses to negative reviews. It appears he is in the business of attempting to intimidate rather than make it right with the customers who had a bad experience one time. That is my reason for the one star and not just a bad review with more stars. Do better. read more

FYI you can get Botox and breastfeed you just have to not breastfeed 24 hours after you get Botox. Also there is very little information for your nurse with a god complex to know about it. I would strongly urge you to not give this place your trust or business. Per Xanadus first suggestion I purchased $1650.00 worth of Botox and filler (one of their Christmas "specials"). I went in to get my services done and then was told that I should do the Opus treatment and would need to purchase a total of three Opus treatments. I did one Opus treatment and it completely undid all of my Botox, hundreds of dollars worth that I had done at Xanadu. I requested a refund for the cash I had left over and Mark, the owner, refused. He told me I would have to use it there. They completely messed up my Botox. My eye lids are very heavy and they told me they couldn't correct them and that I just have to wait it out. I've never been so disappointed and dissatisfied with a business. It literally was like throwing all of that money away and then getting messed up Botox and still needing more to get back to where I was before. This place is a joke and would never suggest it to a friend again. I also fixed a friends wax that was done at Xanadu just after all of this nonsense. It was her armpits, bikini and full leg. They left huge patches of hair all over her after running out of wax. Once again, I would not recommend Xanadu. It's been a complete nightmare!! They also changed one of my appointment times without even asking so I ended up waiting and then missed my doctors appointment that was after. Your scheduling process was a nightmare, I called 3 times, each time I was promised a call back but it didn't happen until the 3rd call when I complained. The fine print upon buying the groupon mentioned the gratuity but it should state how much its gonna be almost $38! So the whole cost was $110 which was more than I wanted to spend. Then I was texted to confirm the appointment, which was irritating since it was known I wanted the appointment since I tried so hard. Upon arriving, I felt awkward and the receptionist was very pretty but unwelcoming, no smile, no warmth. Then a man walked past me several times as I was sitting waiting and gave off a vibe of pretentious and snobby, he kept looking at me which felt like he was sizing me up. The regular costs for services is really high, much more than competitors. What saved this whole experience was Annie aka Antonia, she was masterfully skilled, kind, listening and exceptional! Went in for a Botox consult. Didn't care for the lady and didn't care for the place. Super dark and dreary. Didn't feel like a luxurious spa. I sought out a few Botox consults thoughout Fort Collins... while they offered 20% off they also said I would only need 23 units whereas 3 other places said I would need 40-47. Then she tried to sell me on face products and devices. No thanks. Her office was a mess too. read more
