Tried to plan a relaxing trip for my daughter and I. Even though we were the only two there at first, they completely rushed through everything. My daughter didn't even have a chance to soak her feet as they rushed her though and just painted her toes and nails in under 10 minutes. No relaxing or enjoying it. I explained the color I wanted and they told me it wouldn't look good then put on a color I hated then said they had other customers so they couldn't change it. They didn't rush me through each portion because I wanted it all done separately. First pedi,mani, dip then wax and it was accommodated. Weekday is better not crowded. Weekends expect crowds and a wait is what I was told. It was clean and spacious. I have had bad experiences at other places and refuse to ignore bad service again. All work was very thorough and complete. No short cuts. They gave me a bottle of cold water at no charge. "T" did a great job with my toes and nails. Best foot massage ever. I like them both short. I have been dreading writing this review. The staff was friendly and it's close to my house so I thought I would give it a shot. I have been getting dip nails for over 2 years now and I can say this was hands down the worst experience. I'm not sure if this shop is new at dip nails but it was just disappointing. The whole process took over an hour. The nail tech was using too much pressure or the wrong tool to buff the nails and it kept chipping off. I'm not sure if it's necessarily the product or the nail tech. All of my nails are a different shape. I like rounded nails and these were more square. My thumb nail is so thick it looks like a toe. By the time I got to my pedicure I was ready for the whole experience to be over. I did get the basic pedicure and I will say it looks great. I called and spoke with Linn. I made an appointment with her for July 6th after stating I needed a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. She said just come in and I said no. I want an appointment and was looking for someone who would do my nails/pedicure every two weeks at the same time. She said "yes" The woman speaks 5 languages and is proficient In English as she was raised in the USA. When I arrived, she asked what I wanted and I responded that I had a 1:00 appointment. She did get to me at 1:05. No problem. She then stated that she didn't do nails only pedicures and that they didn't do gel nails because it took too long and they didn't like doing them. Needless to say, I just got a pedicure. It looks like a child did my pedicure. I had explained I was driving in from an hour away. Located on the main white sands strip road and squeezed in between a nail salon and a pizza hut Xanadu offers up a great value massage without all the gimmicks. Walking in, the lobby is pretty small. they offer up some of their massage products. But getting straight to the point you want to get the foot massage ( this includes some time on your body as well as light stretching and a face massage.) For only 35 dollars you get a 1hour massage that's a bomb.com deal and that's their regular price. You get your feet soaked and they massage you with scented lotions. A good deal for the price. As far as the pressure level It was average. Most Chinese massages will make you a sore in a good way. But their pressure is relatively light. You can always ask them to tone it down depending on your threshold. Service was good although the lady who helped me did not know much English but that's fine. Some pointing and talking slower is a universal language. I was greeted with smiles and strong hands. The massage room is dark and soothing. Soft music plays in the background while your stress melts away. Overall if your in town and don't want to spend an arm and a leg for a massage and get most of the fixings of full body massage for half the price stop by and you won't be disappointed. You'll get the stress kneeded out of you, and when your done your skin will feel smooth like a baby and your muscles will feel loose like jello. I always go to T for my nails! I tend to chew my nails so when getting a fresh set on he's always so gentle and does an amazing job! I highly recommend him to anyone and I love telling people I get my nails done by him when asked. He will even come in on Sunday when they are closed if you need anything! I would give T 5 stars. There is another guy who works there is okay. He doesn't do a terrible job but doesn't do a great job. I've gone to him a few times and he has cut my fingers and also burned them with tools. The over look will be nice but the process to get there is not pleasant. Plus everytime I go to him I have nails fall off the very next day. One of my thumbs was crooked and the guy tried to fix it three times and it just got more worse. He never cleaned his station so debris kept getting caught in the nail polish. The man who did my pedicure was very rough and abrasive, and it was one of the most painful pedicures I've had in a long time. He caused my toenail to bleed, and it wouldn't stop. When his wife polished my nails, she did a rush job, and painted my newly infected toenail over the blood. I won't be back! read more

Horrible. I came to this place cause they had pretty good reviews but my personal experience wasn't great. I went in to get my dip removed and get a manicure no color. The lady who did my nails rushed it as soon as another customer came in. My nails weren't even straight. They look horrible. Then I got charged $5 more than I was originally told. They need to put up a prices cause they always change it up. A friend of mine went in and got charged $35 for dip. Second time she went in she was charged $40. read more

Just moved to the area, and tried this place out as a hopeful new go-to. I've been getting dip with no issues for about 3+ years now (with the exception of the beginning of the pandemic). This salon used almost none of the correct techniques and/or tools. They drilled off layers of my real nails trying to get my existing dip off of my fingers. They applied only 2 layers of dip and then drilled to "smooth" a TON, to the point you could see my nails through the polish on multiple fingers. I asked him to add an additional layer after seeing this, which essentially just replaced the second layer (typically I get three layers at my normal spot because I'm so heavy with my hands). My cuticles were cut from him being callous with the drill on every single finger. Dip typically lasts like 3-5 weeks for me (depending on how rough I am, how much has grown out, how busy I am, etc), but at day 2 these started chipping and I have lost about 75% of my manicure at the 6 day mark. They are also WAY overpriced even compared to Austin. read more
