We've been taking our Class A motor home to these guys for the last year and 1/2. Had a great…read morerelationship and had upmost trust in their workmanship and knowledge of diesel engines. Fast forward to a few months ago, our engine was overheating. They were unable to diagnose the problem, and we were told we had to physically take the mechanic on a test drive (2 test drives later..)to show him how it overheats. 3 hours of my time while I am paying their outrageous hourly fees. Finally, they fixed this problem. Our most recent issue, and the icing on the cake for us was that we were losing coolant in the overflow tube. Received a call from Ramone and advised me they are unable to fix the problem and I need to find a Cummins diesel shop that had a dynometer. I called Cummins tech support to find a location, they asked me if the Freightliner shop checked the air compressor head or the EGR cooler. Why didn't the technician from this location call Cummins to help find the problem? I guess they didn't want my money as this "was" a big ticket item. Add insult to injury, they raised their hourly rates to $190/hour. Which is incredibly high, but I was willing to pay if they fixed the problems the first time. It appears they don't hire either knowledgeable or motivated technicians. So, my money and I will be going elsewhere. On another note, problem was fixed in less than 2 days and for 1/2 the price it would have been at Freightliner. Cummins of Knoxville rocks!
