I would give it 30 stars if I could…read more So we came off I240 onto I40 in Asheville in our 28 foot box truck and BOOM our tire burst and we had to pull over at the worst possible spot DURING RUSH HOUR and tried figuring it out for about 1 hour and called these guys and a VERY nice guy came in a flash and changed it ALONG A GUARDRAIL AT NIGHT ON I40!! And it was changed in about 30-50 min and if you know how box truck tires are and how hard they are to change then you know and this freaking guy made it look SOO easy. Frady's came out and fixed everything and found other things to…read morebutton up. they seem to really enjoy their job, and their happiness was so contagious that it made me feel so much better about my situation. what I enjoyed most is that they didn't just fix what DOT officer said... they looked my truck over completely and caught more things than the cop... took them 8 hours and I was ready to drive. as you read this you probably think..." bet that was expensive" but NO! their shop rate is half of everyone else, plus their mobile and will come to you. semi truck, cars, farm equipment, they do it all!! We've been taking our Class A motor home to these guys for the last year and 1/2. Had a great…read morerelationship and had upmost trust in their workmanship and knowledge of diesel engines. Fast forward to a few months ago, our engine was overheating. They were unable to diagnose the problem, and we were told we had to physically take the mechanic on a test drive (2 test drives later..)to show him how it overheats. 3 hours of my time while I am paying their outrageous hourly fees. Finally, they fixed this problem. Our most recent issue, and the icing on the cake for us was that we were losing coolant in the overflow tube. Received a call from Ramone and advised me they are unable to fix the problem and I need to find a Cummins diesel shop that had a dynometer. I called Cummins tech support to find a location, they asked me if the Freightliner shop checked the air compressor head or the EGR cooler. Why didn't the technician from this location call Cummins to help find the problem? I guess they didn't want my money as this "was" a big ticket item. Add insult to injury, they raised their hourly rates to $190/hour. Which is incredibly high, but I was willing to pay if they fixed the problems the first time. It appears they don't hire either knowledgeable or motivated technicians. So, my money and I will be going elsewhere. On another note, problem was fixed in less than 2 days and for 1/2 the price it would have been at Freightliner. Cummins of Knoxville rocks!
