I currently have Xfinity for home Internet. I seen a great deal they're offering on mobile. I called them to verify exactly what the deal was and there would be no limit and how many trade-in phones I could bring for a new iPhone 17s! I was needing to bring five phone lines and one watch. Three of the phone lines would be upgraded to new iPhone 17 this was all OK. We went through the entire process to transfer out of Att. It was a total disaster and once two lines were already in and I pulled the third and said I wanted the iPhone. This is when they said no And everything became a disaster! There is absolutely limit of lines because there is a $2500 limit on how much you can take on these phones. The phones each are over 1100! I only could get two lines. They tried to tell me to get something cheaper and pay the difference complete utter nonsense! This all started on Tuesday. This is now Saturday. I finally got my phone back to AT&T. I am so disgusted with Xfinity. And just to put the cherry on top .....I currently enrolled in school and I have 1000g for Internet. I currently pay almost $100 but students can get the same Internet package for only 40. Do you think Xfinity would allow me to get it for 40 absolutely not because I am an existing customer even though all of our Internet providers honor our deals for students for pre-existing customers or new so that's what I did. I told Xfinity they can shove it. Not only did I remove all three phone lines plus my watch I will be disconnecting the Xfinity home Internet why should I pay more than double?! I decided to give Verizon Internet a try. I should have it in just a few days. Xfinity has absolutely the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. They are absolutely outsourced. The gentleman even asked how my weather was and where I was located. Come to find out he was located in Egypt.!! I talked to at least 9 to 12 representatives none from this country all with different information all extremely rude! I've never felt like such shit until I dealt with this company I am a long-term customer. My family are long-term customer because of this disaster I just went through not only is my Internet being removed so is my families and so are my friends everybody is walking away as they are also sick of the customer service xfinity provides their an American company that can't even hire Americans to work! By the way, I went into the store to get help and if you've gotten help from online, the store is not willing to help they say because you started working with people online you have to stay with them so going to the store is just as bad! And they could care less in the store they were more worried about each other than the customers I will be making one last stop there. The idiots not only brought my three lines from AT&T, but they also opened me two lines on Xfinity with two brand new iPhones. They canceled the one but decided to ship the other even though the account has no lines. I was not home yesterday to receive the iPhone and FedEx will not leave it. But as soon as it comes on, I will be taking my happy ass down to my local Xfinity store with my Internet box and this iPhone. I have nothing left for this company. They have wiped me out. I'm so exhausted from five days of nonstop calling between Xfinity and AT&T trying to get back. Thank God for AT&T. They have a win back program, if you leave within 60 days, they do everything to get you back waive fees with many other perks ! Armond went service by service to see which plans matched our needs and budget. Ultimately we kept the same lineup and speed with a better rate for the next two years. We added an additional mobile line and switched from Unlimited to Premium Unlimited for less than expected. Between switching plans, trade in and promotional offers the device fee worked out to less than $20/mo for three iPhones. read more

Went in to drop off a box the representative at the door took it scanned in, and I went on my way. It was super fast. They're definitely some cranky old people in there that irritated me, but I was there felt bad for the team that was working. I switched cell service from Verizon to Xfinity, it took 7 visits to the store and numerous phone support calls to after 2 months finally be able to call international. Went in to the store and spoke to service reps that did some keystroke on their I-Pad told me it would take 24-48 hours to go in effect, 2 others signed me up for a Global Travel Pass that I don't have any interest in and did not solve the issue. Vince came to the rescue and took the time to resolve my issue and made sure my issue was resolved before leaving the store. The only reason I gave this 3 stars is the 6 times I came in prior did not fix anything, I f the first person would be Vince this would have been a 5 star review from a very satisfied customer. read more

I've been a Comcast customer for over 40 years. The last few years have been difficult with overbilling issues. One example was after spending an hour on the phone with an agent, I was told that I would need to visit a local Xfinity store. After arriving at the store, and waiting for a while, a very young agent told me that I needed to call the customer service hotline. Go figure!! Today, I spent an hour on the phone with an AI agent. We visited the store on 2-9-2025 and received a written price on a phone upgrade. We were short on time so went back on 2-16 to trade in old phone and purchase new. They would not honor the price written down last week signed by employee. The manager Vanessa said she doubted her employee even looked at our phone. I said why would she write down a price with trade in if she didn't look at my husband's phone. She said she believed her employee would never quote a price even though she signed the quote. Left the cover of the equipment 1/3 of the wY shut so now water, rodents whatever can get in there. We have recently changed over our wifi service to Xfinity. While on the phone (Oct. 4) to change our wifi, we were sold their phone service to receive (for$9 a mo) an iPhone 16 pro max. The phone was supposedly backordered till Oct. 18. When the phones never came, we called and Xfinity had no note of the phones being added nor the deal set at that cost. We were told that there was nothing xfinity would do to make good on this promise. So now that we have cut our services with the phone company that we loved and Xfinity walks away unscathed after supporting their customer service rep that blatantly lied to gain our business! the absolute worst!! we only had internet, we cancelled it to move to T-Mobile, they then started telling us that we had a cable box to return, when we NEVER had cable! they threatened to charge us for it, when we NEVER had it! we also had a set bill every month, but they tried to overcharge us multiple months, without telling us anything. like $60 more than normal, when they guaranteed it would be the same every month. I can't stand this company and I hope they go out of business. they are the worst, T-Mobile internet is WAY better, Xfinity went out 3-4 times a day. we will NEVER be back to xfinity. they are slimey and so scummy! read more

Went to return a router but had to wait a bit, I wasn't signed up for the app. After registering my new self purchased router I ended up getting a great discount on my internet plus some extra for doing paperless billing. Technically I got the bill in the mail before but always had autopay. My only fear is that I won't see my discount next month but I'll keep an eye out. 250 feet of orange cable across yard left unburied for just under 4 months until I canceled my service. Rude Russian contract installer didn't even tell me he put cable across my yard and I saw it after he left. When I called, he said they will bury it "in a couple of days". Multiple trips to xfinity store to expedite burying cable useless. Service appointments arranged, and on day of scheduled service, no calls and no one came. Multiple daily spontaneous outages and incompetent office staff focused on getting me a refund for outages rather than addressing the ongoing daily outages. When I moved from out of state, had to establish new account rather than transfer service, but again incompetent office staff did not cancel out of state account when establishing new one so I was double billed for months. No phone for the store (number given was for the mall offices). Store employee indicated I should have called number on his card. When I told him I did and there was no answer, he checked and confirmed that I had in fact called. No apologies. 250 feet of cable still in my yard and I know no one will disconnect even though I have terminated service. Disgusting excuse for a company. read more

Comcast is a bunch of thieves. I signed up for internet only, the representative Tom knew this. We discussed internet is all I need and it was only $20/mo. Well first bill was $55 and he signed me up for cable and internet. I put down a $50 deposit that was going to be used towards my first three bills well they said they used it towards my first bill of $55 that they signed me up for the wrong service. So I ended up paying more, and losing my deposit all because they are liars and greedy. They did not refund my money, or give me my deposit. They charged me for a service I didn't use and told me to deal with it. AT&T might look like it's initially slightly more expensive than Comcast but Comcast will surely lie and rip you off. I loathe Comcast. If we had other options, I would be rid of them from my life. It's nothing but crappy customer service, lies, sketchy service (our internet runs nowhere close to what it's supposed to) and let's not forget to mention STRESS and time consuming. Let's talk about their customer service. First off their customer service sucks. Whether it be over the phone or in person. Out of all my encounters I have talked to one fairly competent person and he was both friendly and upfront. I try to deal with him when I have issues, but that's not always the case. Recently I had to go in because I couldn't understand charges on my bill. With the so many changes Comcast pulls and the fees they tack on, I try to closely monitor my bill and refuse to hand over any money until I have a clear understanding of what is going on. Every few months they try to nickel and dime you... anyways had the displeasure of speaking with someone. Someone who seemed disinterested in his job and lack any personal skills. No "Hi." No "How can I help you." Came with my kids and he couldn't even offer to grab an extra chair, I found one and dragged it over. He didn't answer my questions just kept looking at his computer and stared at numbers on his computer. Then would state things I stated I finally got fed up and told him straight up that he wasn't answering my questions and I'm not just going to hand over my money. He then told me he'd get his manager. His manager strolls over and lacks the same enthusiasm or personal skills. No "Hi, how are you?" Or "my name is so and so and I'm the manager. I'll be happy to help you today." Nothing. Apparently Comcast lacks any customer skills 101 training. They monopolize the market, which to them may be enough to justify crappy service since there aren't many other options out there... He does the same thing his employee does and stares at the computer. Starts jotting down numbers finally answering some of my questions. And then tells me we need to open a ticket for an issue were having and walks away. Not sure if I'm done or not, I let close to a minute go by and watch him interact with his employee I was initially "working" with and finally got up to leave. I start to walk towards the front where they are at and I'm told we need to still open up the ticket. Well it would've been nice if the manager had addressed that by simply saying "I'll grab so and so so we can get that ticket started for you." Not just get up and walk away without a "thank you. Do you have any other questions? Is there anything else I can help you with?" Comcast get you ish together. Your customer service sucks and I would love to jump ship if there were any other comparable options out there. read more

I when into the Rockford IL. store at 10:08 am, they open at 10, there were about 3-4 people already there, a greeter ask what I needed, I stated that I wasn't receiving voicemails, apparently for sevreal months, she said make a appointment, I asked how long the wait would be to have a technician take a look, she said 3 hours, unbelievable! I had already spend a couple hours with the service people in Pakistan, or India, extremely broken hard to understand English, and they're all clueless as how to fix the problem. This is insane. They try to be the "Apple Store" and waste money on a store design and commercials yet their customer service is still awful. There are 15 people waiting and every rep is with a customer. Guys - the cost of doing business and expansion is paying for customer service - in this case bodies to speak with your customers. I have eight Smart Plugs and two Echo Dots. All worked fine with each other, ei: give one Dot a command and it could be canceled by the second Dot. I changed internet provider from AT&T to Xfinity and now all is he__! Some times (interestingly (over night)) the connection will change (fine during the day but not connected the following morning!!). What is changing during the night?!?! and How?!?!
