I first used Jeff when I was referred to him by the contractor who was renovating my entire condo in 2016. After meeting Jeff, I hired him to install remote control shades on 12 large windows, and to install a wall-mounted large-screen television complete with a Sonos surround sound system suggested by Jeff. Michael gave him very good advice on installing the TV, as well as his new stereo system that may just cost more than my entire purse collection (and I spend a lot of $ on purses!). Michael also helped him figure out the best way to build shelves for the dvd player and tivo since we didn't have any need for an entertainment system on the wall. After a few weeks of emails over these very important matters 2 guys from tech connectors showed up and put together our brand new entertainment system! Installed TV and Soundbar 4.) Took off existing component mount 5.) Installed two new mounts 6.) Installed IR repeater which allowed components to be rotated around corner 7.) Installed in wall HDMI cabling Michael was great, and so were the 2 people that came to do the work (sorry I forgot their names) They called to let me know they were running a bit behind (but they arrived well within their time window) and came in, did a great job and cleaned up all the dust and packaging. Another company I had spoken with had quoted me more than twice the price, I guess because the cameras they use are fancy or something? I don't know, because the ones Ernesto installed are great and doing precisely what I wanted. When I was on my search for home security cameras, I kept mostly finding things like ADT, SimpliSafe, or something else that was largely about selling you the monitoring plan; the equipment I think was less expensive but then you're paying for the monitoring. I am not generally a fan of the everything-is-now-a-subscription-or-service thing nor do I want to be beholden to whatever rates a company decides to charge. Some of those also were self-install options, which didn't interest me at all. They hooked up several cameras at our home to provide various views, including the basement since I wanted to be able to see what's happening down there when I'm upstairs. The system has a hard drive that can support up to eight cameras. We can save photos, videos, and also play back to see what happened earlier in the recording on the various cameras. Although they could have provided a monitor, we don't really have a place for it so we simply have an app on our phone through which we can view the cameras. I'm not sure why, but I thought it would go much more quickly than it did. I have no frame of reference to know how long it should have taken so that's not a criticism. It took about six hours total but having it done well was the most important part. I would highly the crew at 606 installs for their professionalism, reasonable rate, and excellent work.

Two of the TVs were straight forward but the third one was extremely complicated. I wanted all the components hidden in a closet 5 feet away. As a result, the wires had to not only go down vertically but also horizontally to the closet. In addition to Pro Technology Solutions, I called up two other companies and both seemed uncertain about how to get it done. Jeff and Dave from Pro Technology Solutions came out and without a hesitation, told me it was not that big a deal. Furthermore, after discussing speaker options with them ( I wanted really small speakers that seemed almost hidden), they convinced me on a sound bar that fit the length of my TV and almost feels like it's part of the TV. They suggested a great sound bar that is appropriate for the room saving me almost $500. I have this 10 year old Denon receiver that is very dear to me and ideally, I wanted to use that instead of buying a new receiver. Again, Jeff and Dave came through for me and it sounds better than ever. I now have it connected to my BluRay DVD player, my I-pod and HD cable. Now, it's a real joy to watch movies or listen to music in my living room. Also, the sound bar they suggested was out of stock on all websites so when it became available, Jeff and Dave came back for a few hours to hook it up. With regards to price, they are extremely reasonable. I actually felt they didn't charge me appropriately for all the work they did and the hours they put in so I paid them more than the invoice. I used Pro Technology Solutions to do my complete custom built basement. The work they do is…read moreunbelievable. They did a matrix system for me in my basement meaning that no equipment other than the TVs of course live in the open space, all my equipment is in my utility room on a rack. They first designed the AV plan, then they did all the pre-wiring. When the drywall was done they hung three TVs, a 65 inch plasma, a 42 inch plasma in a custom bar (unbelievable) and a LCD in our exercise room. I have a very high end sound bar that they somehow mounted with the 65 inch plasma that will blow you away. They installed 7 ceiling speakers and two in wall speakers. All the equipment I purchased from them is high end equipment consisting of two receivers, subs, amps, blu rays, switches the list goes on and on. Also they installed Sonos players in my basement, upstairs family room and on our patio with outdoor speakers. As you can see I used them for everything, top to bottom and I can honestly say that it was the best experience my wife and I have had with any company we have hired to do work on our home. Jeff and Dave are also great guys and that means allot, they work with you and at the end of the day they just want to make sure your happy with your AV equipment and the work they did. I don't care what anyone thinks, you will be hard pressed to find a company in the Chicago land area that can do the work that Jeff and Dave can, they make it easy for what other companies seem they are uncomfortable doing and I am talking about the big Audio Visual companies.
