Service: Bizarre Quality: N/A Value: 0 I went shopping to upgrade my iPhone. The model I wanted to see was not on display, but they did have one unopened. The sales rep advised me that he could not open the box for me to see the phone, yet he assumed I would purchase it anyway. Turns out the phone had double the memory than what I needed. He said he could order the phone I wanted but I needed to be home to sign for it. I work full time, so that was not an option. He upgraded my mobile Xfinity plan prior to any sale, saying he had to as a part of the discount being offered on the phone. He then recommended I go to the Apple Store in Boca Raton and buy the model I wanted and bring it back to Xfinity to activate. Conclusion: no phone. He was supposed to cancel the mobile plan upgrade, but I have received an email saying the upgrade is done. Now, I have to call their mobile service to turn it back to what it was! read more

Not even deserving of one star. I entered the Xfinity store at the Delray Marketplace in Delray Beach. The purpose of my visit, was to discuss my bill, nothing else. Bart, the representative I was assigned to, proceeded to discuss my bill. Without me asking about a new phone, told me that my existing phone was eligible for an upgrade to the newest iPhone 16E The price of the new phone was $599 I was told by BART, that my iPhone SE, was now worth $500 towards an upgrade. I questioned his assessment, as I only paid $429 for my phone brand new. He assured me that, nevertheless, he could proceed with the upgrade. Apparently, BART was mistaken, and the "upgrade" did not take place. I understand that a mistake was made, however, instead of an apology, I was completely ignored, hoping I would just leave. Instead, I was ignored and left sitting there, while BART was moved to a different station. No apology, no explanation, just completely 'ghosted'. In top of all this, I was asked to leave by LINDA, the assistant manager. No explanation, just insults as if all of this was my fault. Was told on the phone by someone in customer service to go into a store and they would be able to help me with my billing issue. Upon arriving into the store I was not greeted by a man sitting behind the counter but stared at in a strange way. He was not very polite and very short with his attitude. It was 10:10 they were only open a few minutes. After taking my name and asking me to go sit down I waited 30 minutes before being seen. When I finally spoke to someone and explained the situation they told me there was nothing they could do and that I needed to call customer service. Round and round we go. I'm very disappointed in the few times I've had to interact with Xfinity employees. From on the phone to in person nobody is friendly nobody is polite nobody is helpful. I will not be an Xfinity customer for long. Save yourself the aggravation and look elsewhere for internet and phone service. read more

Be cautious, Xfinity bills for third-party apps. It's advisable to review your bill. My mother-in-law was charged an extra $22 per month to use the Netflix app through them, in addition to her existing $17 Netflix account. Since her TV isn't a smart one, we assumed it was included. However, they deliberately charge for it. When we contacted them over the phone, they refused to assist us. During our vacation, we had to go to the Delray Beach location. Upon arrival, while parking the car, I entered and two employees loudly demanded I check in, which I found inappropriate. I then informed them I was with "them." We asked to speak with a manager but were informed he would be in a meeting for an hour. I find it unacceptable for a retail store to prioritize a meeting over customer service. The overall experience at the Delray Beach location further reinforced the negative impression of Xfinity, adding to the frustration caused by the unexpected charges. Had an appoint, my name was called Person I explained the problem to said he couldn't help. Only 1 person in the store could assist. And at that moment the one person decided to go to lunch(4:20) I'd have to wait for him thru his 30 min lunch. The other woman at the counter was rude to making a big deal that it was Lunch and he has to eat. I tried to figure it out after a little help from the billing guy. At the front entrance I asked the 2 guys there a question and it was their lunch too!! 4:20 pm I was totally disappointed in the care, help and treatment at this store than has always been outstanding and so helpful in the past. I had a 5-star experience at this location and although many yelpers are trashing this place, I am here to report my outstanding service and experience visiting. I have been a Comcast customer for many years and own my modem and router and was frustrated at how slow and flaky the service was lately, so I stopped by here to investigate solutions. I discovered they had a new Xfinity xFi system that sounded great on paper and when I mentioned to the sales person that I prefer to own my own equipment and not rent, they said that the $13 or so monthly rental is the only option for a combination modem and router and I could not buy it, but I could take one home for testing and if I did not like it, bring it back for a refund, so I figured that was a deal too good to pass up. I took the Xfinity xFi Advanced Gateway modem/router home, disconnected my old router and modem (had tons of cords and cables), plugged in the new box (much more beautiful), added the cable line, and installed the app on my phone, and BAM --- SUPER FAST INTERNET. I was stunned to run Speedtest and get over 170mbs and the most amazing thing was walking into each room of my home (were previously I got 15 mps) and was getting about 150mbs and SMOKING FAST INTERNET everywhere in my home. Thus, I am 1000000% satisfied that I got a new modem and router, only pay $13/mo for the equipment and have MEGA FAST SPEED. Then, I went back to the same store to swap out my old cable tv boxes and got the new ones and BAM - beautiful tv with builtin apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime, voice remote, and other features I will barely use. So, there you go, I replaced all my Internet and television equipment, even reworked my service contract to lower the price, and have outstanding Internet speed and great television. I recently visited the Xfinity Store in Boynton Beach and was helped by Jeisy Hernandez. She replaced some old equipment and now it works fine. She also upgraded my Internet package to the fastest speed for no extra cost, and said I could save $40 a month using Verizon cell phone service. She was extremely pleasant, listened to my issues, and went above and beyond to help me. She is an asset to Xfinity and I'm glad to have met her. read more

Unfortunately, my experience here as not as good as it should have been. I had (or thought I had) made a reservation on the Comcast support line for an appointment to upgrade my modem. This mas the closest location to my home. Once I got there, I was told, that no, they don't make appointments, and I would need to wait with everyone else. Okay, some sort of mixup, no biggie. But after my nearly 45 minute wait, I was then informed, that while the Delray store was the closest to my home, they couldn't help me, since I lived in a neighboring county, and that system, although Comcast, used different equipment. Entering the store there wasn't a proper greeting. He just called out - what's your name with no eye contact, he had his head down throughout our interaction looking into his system. What made me laugh was he said have a seat and someone will be right with you, if he had bothered to look up he would have noticed there wasn't any seating. Lol! As I stood there he was on his cell phone smiling. It was about 7 to 10 minutes later he addressed the ones with return only to come to his desk. I had a problem accessing On Demand programs after having no problem using them. Per the error message I reset the cable box with no luck. Called customer service and they tried to send a signal to the box which did nothing. Ultimately they said my 3 year old boxes were outdated and made me an appointment at their store to get new equipment. Always fun to do!!! I was glad I had an appointment because there was a long line out the door of folks who didn't have an appointment. The store was seriously understaffed and the few workers were slow moving and didn't seem to care about the customers frustration for service. Unless the staff size was guided by Covid-19 restrictions I can't believe they couldn't afford to hire a lot more help. I had WIFI coverage issues at our Delray Beach home and Xfinity Store in Delray Marketplace (AWFUL PLACE) sold me 4 XFI PODS which DID NOT WORK for $99 each. I pinpointed the issue to a faulty router. Tried to return to defective PODS which dropped the connection to the router all the time, and the Store Manager Filipe would not issue a store credit for $396! This is a terrible company with hostile policies and horrendous customer service. They don't give a damn about their customers. Lazy and useless employees. I went in to return a device that was sent to me that I didn't want in the first place. A woman in the front put my name on a list and I sat down with a bunch of other people to wait. One employee spent the entire 40 minutes I was in the store sitting and talking with one couple. Two other employees were calling customer names and helping people. At one point, one of them finished with his current customer and refused to call for another until the other guy called for a customer. Then, after helping one more person, he started cleaning his desk. When finished, he stared at his monitor in full view of us and refused to call any of us who were waiting. Eventually the woman who had taken my name asked us again what our names were and for the guy to help us. He claimed the list was empty. Someone (wonder who) had erased our names. She put our names back on the list and this guy promptly got up and ran to hide in the back room. After ten minutes, he came out, walked around the store, then went back to hide again. I'm getting a firestick and going with AT&T for wi-Fi services at $50 a month. giving Xfinity direct access to my bank account was the biggest mistake ever, they literally scam me every month. My bill should be $55 a month every month they find a way to charge me $83 or more. They literally charge me for services that have already been paid for and take money out of my account without asking or informing me, they don't give you this money back, they claim that they'll cut it out of the cost of the next bill but they never do. Now if you're like me living in Financial hardship and you have a multibillion dollar company stealing from you monthly and leaving your account short for things like rent, Insurance payments etc. I don't think you'd be so happy about this. FRAUDULENT business dealings! I signed up with Xfinity for a year. At the end of the year, they doubled the charge. I cancelled the service, paid my bill, and returned the equipment on May 9, 2019 to this store. Xfinity kept charging me but didn't send a bill to my home address. Now, after more than 10 phone calls over the past 16 months, wrecking my credit score, and causing much emotional distress, they say there's nothing they will do to correct their own mistake.
