Technicians lying to customers If anyone has any service done by an Xfinity tech and is told there is no charge GET IT IN WRITING. The tech tells you one thing and writes up another.... before you know it you are paying $60. Why would Xfinity believe their customers? We are probably lying just like they lie to us. The WORST customer service I've ever had!! Their technician came to my house free of charge to enhance the fiber optics and erased 2 app on my main tv. They sent me the equipment to replace the cable box and the modem but I called and told them I couldn't do that myself because I am a senior citizen and I am not physically able to do that!! Jackie who was the manager told me that they could send somebody to do it but it would cost $100!! I don't think I should have to pay for something that the company did wrong!! She was just rude and insulting, scoffing at the idea that I didn't have anyone to help me!! I explained to her that I live in a senior community and her answer was that she was a senior citizen also!! She was 66, and I'd love to be 66 again and I'm sure she would get someone to come to her house and do it for her!! She also wouldn't give me the phone number for X-Finity corporate!! My bill is over $200 a month and I don't think I should have to install the equipment myself!!! I will be looking into Direct TV!!!! read more

Xfinity online and this Delray Beach location sent us the wrong box TWO TIMES. When I contacted technical support because the 2nd box, that Xfinity Delray Beach assured me would absolutely work correctly, I found out that it was AGAIN the wrong box to fix our issue. The technician on the phone told he would absolutely make sure that this was resolved and we would get the right box this THIRD time and they were so very sorry about our experience with this and they would make it right for us, not to worry. He said he would have an Xfinity technician bring us the right box and install it for us to make up for this frustrating situation we were experiencing. We found out AFTERWARDS that we are being charged $100 for the this because a technician came to our house since no one else at XFINITY could get the right equipment to us. WE DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS $100 charge. We did NOT need someone to do the install for us...we are perfectly capable of doing it ourselves. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS...SHAME ON YOU XFINITY!!! I have been on the phone since 12:30pm today...a total of almost 4 hours with this situation and it is still NOT resolved! This is RIDICULOUS and UNACCEPTABLE for us to have to pay $100 due to the incompetence TWICE of the Xfinity staff who determine which boxes are sent out. read more

Their TV, Internet and phone service are quite good until you have a service issue. My internet, TV and phone service has been out for 5 days and to date Xfinity service people have been unable to resolve loss of service. Xfinity is great until you have a tech issue then good luck. read more

I made an appointment a week ago to set up cable and internet. It was very busy with a line out the door. I was ask to have a seat and someone would be with me. 45 mins later I was still sitting and ask if it would be much longer. I was no longer on the list, an email showed my appt was canceled. Very frustrating as I spoke to the receptionist 2-3 times leading up to the 45 mins. Finally, just under an hour I was sent to Andre Moore for assistance. He quickly helped me pick a package for cable and internet. He then provided his cell number to add my MAC address when I got home so I did not have to wait on the phone longer with Xfinity. On this review Xfinity gets a 2.5 star but Andre gets a 5 star. Thank you for going above and beyond. Customer service make the business so that is why I gave a 5 star. The rest on the review is for them to work on that location as they are very disorganized and no system in place to get walk ins in with appointments in a timely manner. read more

This store doesn't even deserve 1 star. Worst customer service I have ever encountered at Comcast. Just got connected to cable internet and tv and had weak signal so an agent said I could go in a store and get a couple of xFi pods for no additional charge. I waited 15 minutes at front desk, then told the store rep what I was told on the phone and she said that she can't provide them at the front desk and I'd have to wait for an associate. So I waited another half hour to ask an associate and then she told me that the Comcast agent was wrong and that I would have to purchase them in 3 or 6 pack. She was totally rude and unprofessional. It was a total waste of time, especially when the first person at the front desk had me wait a half hour for something she should have known or told me when I got there. After this bad experience I'm tempted to cancel my service and go back to ATT! read more

This was my worst experience w/a cable co. Ever! I was trying to get another cable box for a new t v. I was told would add $10 more to my bill. A new bill for my cable was e-mailed to me w/ added cost of $54? My community has a contract w/Comcast which the agent told me was cancelled. Notttt. He lied! i made an appointment at 4:00 am saturday for a 1:15 pm time slot,the store was packed.i should have called the fire marshall as it was over capacity,at least 150 people waiting.i had an appointment as i needed help with my wifi monthly limit.the clerk was as interested as looking at a blank wall as he continuously was looking over my shoulder at the crowd and was disinterested in my concerns.i have traumatic brain injury so i need things explained,plus im deaf which didnt make a difference.ive been paying $240.00 per month for cable,3 box rental and showtime,over 14 years ive paid out $24,000.00 to xfinity as i have a few accounts,all i was asking for was to give me unlimited so i can watch netflix and prime as xfinity has sequinced there channels to have commercials at the same time.i got a black friday deal for $55.00,unlimited wifi,hbo max for a year and a flex/router,they wouldnt honor it stating i have a package deal??why did you send me this $55.00 deal.anyway,wasted at least 5 hours saturday and got no where unless i want to pay another $25.00 a month,t mobile has unlimited data wifi for $55.00 a month incl taxes,at&t has similar for same price,both unlimited but xfinity is limited to 1000tb a month,ridiculous.time to change!good luck if you think your going to get assistance. read more

I read the negative reviews on this store, they are totally correct. The attitude I encountered at the at this location left me in disbelief. How they find people with such negative attitudes is beyond me. They work in customer service and have no clue how to handle people. The initial set-up service received was helpful, but after a few days, cell service was abruptly and inexplicably suspended. After hours at this location, no one could answer how this happened or how to fix it. Most of the associates generally seemed not to care, only concerned about closing cases quickly. The specific associate handing the issue could not or would not investigate, claimed there was no manager available, and stated it might take 24 hours to get the phone operational again. Who can wait 24 hours to have a phone turned on again? She also told me to call the customer service number, but how could I without a phone? read more

I'm also surprised this store is being trashed here. If you just walk in, you get in the queue and the guy told me I could wait 45 minutes or set an appointment. I set an appointment and when I got there and signed in, my name was called in less than 5 minutes. Negative stars! Had to give them one to poSo unbelievably incompetent a business I have ever seen! Moved 2 months ago and I am still battling with the utter incompetence of this company to communicate to one another and solve problems. Here I still sit, a tripping hazard running across my front walk and a lingering bill they promised to cover but have not. You know the bit on the phone that says your call maybe recorded for training purposes? Well, They need to listen to mine. They could train the entire company on my endless pleas. I'm a teacher, with boundless patience but it's run out for these folks. I have the names of 7 people that I have talked to on the phone that have promised to solve my problems. I have permanent holes in my walls, inside and out, because one guy said, "I can't stay any longer because this is over time and my boss says I have to leave. I'll just have to do this the quickest way." Nice huh? One dude came all the way over here to burry the first line in my yard and didn't even hook it up to my house! Really? I have spent 3 full days away from work watching guys (I have had 6 so far) scratch their heads, tell me they don't know what is wrong and for what? Crummy TV service that still can't move into the wireless age. Oh they are trying alright but buyer be AWARE! Their TV commercials are a lie. Customer service-ha! When I read these reviews, I clearly understood the problems and headaches customers are having. I too am dealing with incompetent employees of Comcast/Xfinity. I believe we need to do a Class Action lawsuit against Comcast/Xfinity. I had the installation done in May 2017. After the technician left, I could not get the so called 175mps high speed internet to work. The following day they sent another technician. This technician told me I had to buy an adapter, which cost me $49.00. Needless to say, the adapter did not work. I called again and they sent another technician out. This technician blamed the previous technician for installing the wrong modem. This technician installed a different modem. The following day, not only did the internet not work, but I could not get the 150 channels I was given. I called Comcast again and the issue was somewhat fixed over the phone. But low and behold, now the internet was not working again. Called Comcast again and another technician was sent out. This technician moved the modem to the other end of the house and hooked up a Ethernet cable. So now the internet works, BUT I do not get wifi at the other end of the house. During all this time while I was having these issues, I received my first bill from Comcast/Xfinity, which was correct. The following month they over billed me by $60.00. When I spoke to a Comcast/Xfinity agent on the phone, she stated the bill would be corrected and I would see the credit on the next bill. Needless to say, I did not receive a credit and was now charged a late fee along with again being over charged on the next bill by $70.00. I again called Comcast/Xfinity and was told I had the wrong quote and that their billing was correct. I informed this agent that I had the initial quote I was given on recording. This agent said I needed to speak to a supervisor and said she would transfer me. Yes, you guessed it, I was disconnected. This last bill I was overcharged another $70.00. I have called Comcast/Xfinity repeatedly and receive the automated system only to be left on hold for over a half hour each time. As I stated, it is time for a CLASS ACTION lawsuit against Comcast/Xfinity. read more

Most of the time we all hate our cable companies. But I've gotta say today Comcast and their Xfinity store in Delray were awesome. I had an X1 box that failed on me. I took the box, the remote and the power cord in, expecting to wait in line for an hour+. I welcomed with a smile by a very nice young lady whose name I didn't get, my apologies, told no problem and within 5 minutes "Tony" had me a new box and I was out the door. That's no-nonsense service with a smile. PS I love my Xfinity X1 service best User Interface in the industry. Thanks Team Comcast read more

I had the worse service , i drove about 15 minutes to the store , all the employees were standing around having a chat while i was waiting for service , i had to get up and ask for help , the lady that helped me then put my wrong cell number into the system and did not confirm the correct one , i then had to drive all the way back and the second person that helped me was unprofessional and Also standing around chatting away with other employees..... once i got home i called customer service because my WiFi was still not connected and i found out that the employee did not give me the Proper cords .... i would need to wait untill the store opens again tomorrow and fetch the missing cord , they wasted half my day for a simple WiFi purchase. read more
