Terrible customer service. I've been in contact with this company for two weeks. I opened an account and closed it the same day because I didn't realize I needed to install the equipment and couldn't afford it at the time. Even after I canceled, they sent the equipment the next day and charged my account an initial fee. Even after returning the equipment, I haven't received a refund, and they haven't even acknowledged receiving the equipment back. I hope they don't charge the full price of the equipment to my account as well. Too many inconsistencies all around. read more

The XFinity Store is very clean and the people are very nice at the store. This review is solely on my experience after signing up. I was scheduled for an appointment to have Internet service started at my home on a Sunday between 1pm to 3pm. The technician didn't get to my place until almost 4pm. He was unable to start the internet service after working for almost 2 hours. I was told that there was an issue with a line and that the appointment had to be rescheduled. Although it was an inconvenience, I understood that things happened. I was rescheduled for Tuesday at 5pm which is pushing it for me to get off work. The next tech came and told me the exact same thing as the first tech from Sunday. He was also very rude when I asked him if he could reach out to the supervisor that agreed to reschedule. He told me he wasn't chasing anyone down. Very unprofessional. I was forced to reschedule again for this upcoming Saturday which really is an inconvenience for me because I have plans to move soon and my packing time is getting interrupted. I reached out to Xfinity's 1800 number, and they went around in circles with me. They continue to offer me eco billing and auto pay which I wasn't calling about. I tried to explain to them that I was inconvenienced several times by their lack of communication between the different techs. I was told by one representative that I wouldn't have to pay a $70 service charge for the tech and then another representative told me that I would still have to pay the $70. I was furious. I requested to talk to a manager but was placed on hold for a very long time. I was denied a chance to talk to manager because the representative said that the manager was busy. This is a very unprofessional company, and I'm very disappointed in the service they have provided. The only reason why I'm am still dealing with them is because they are the only internet server in this area for now. Hopefully, I will be able to cancel my service with them in a year. read more

Xfinity is charging 10.00 late fees if you pay on the date that your bill is due. Example my bill was due on the 22nd I paid on the 22nd but was told I have to pay on the 21st otherwise I will pay 10.00 late fee every time. Imagine how many people have been charged with this foolishness I would like for someone to address this and refund everyone their money back.When I question this with Xfinity representing he immediately removed the 10.00.This is Bogus Everyone please check your bills I'm disgusted with Xfinity. read more

If you're trying to find a reliable Internet connection in Jacksonville, let me say without hesitation that Xfinity is NOT your solution. It is just horrible. Worse than horrible. Almost as bad as a deliberate scam. I pay $200 per month, and I get a wifi router that is as slow as any piece of hardware from the 1990s, and an Internet connection that craps out -- and this is NOT an exaggeration -- at LEAST twice a day. Good luck calling the vegetables they hire for tech support. Yeah, unplug the router, plug it back in. Oh, it's still not working? Let me read off this script to see what's "wrong" with what you are doing! In all seriousness, if you want anything remotely reliable, go with ATT Uverse or some other solution, even if it means overall that your max speeds are lower. They will be more reliable. Returning cablemodem, as I purchased my own. Had to wait about 15 minutes after checking in. Their displays showing one's position in line we're all powered off, but I had selected the feature to send a text when I was at the top of the queue. Once I was called, the process was pretty quick. The store was clean and relatively quiet. I discovered that I could have called ahead for an appointment, but I'm not sure that would have saved any time... perhaps if I called from the car when 10 minutes away. I'm not a huge fan of monoplistic utility providers, but the experience was above what I was prepared for. read more

Do not come to this store! They billed me for multiple months of service prior to any installs actually being completed which means I had no service. When I went in to speak with the manager, she refused to even come out and greet me. The young guy working the front was definitely a "kick the can down the road kind of guy." You know the type, when you walk into a business and ask them a question they try to find the easiest way to get you out the door type. Lazy people, long waits, and terrible customer service from the manager on down. If you have Xfinity do yourself a favor and find another location. Everyone here is very nice. My hate for Comcast xfinity is to infinity and beyond.... But almost done with our contract. My service never works internet is always down. Home security is crap and never works at all. The store is clean and they are organized. We couldn't be more pleased. We drove from Amelia Island and arrived 30 minutes before they closed. Jermaine took his time in helping us. He had no problem staying later and didn't rushed us. Great customer service. There were two other employees that I could tell were ready to leave. We keep saying we would return the next day but Jermaine tried his best to complete our transactions. We did return the next day to the same great customer service. We bought three iPhones 8plus. Thank you Jermaine! read more
