WARNING: Sneaky "Bill Cramming" Tactics under "Free" Promotions!…read moreI am writing this review to warn my neighbors to inspect every single line item on their monthly statements. Spectrum is engaging in deceptive billing practices, specifically a tactic known as "bill cramming"--adding paid services to your account without your permission. A few months ago, I called to set up Internet and TV services. The sales representative told me I qualified for a promotion for a "free mobile service line for one year." I accepted the free line. What they CONVENIENTLY failed to mention, and what I never authorized or gave permission for, was that the agent snuck a paid monthly "Mobile Insurance/Device Protection Plan" onto that supposedly free account. Because I was told the mobile plan was 100% free, I didn't notice the hidden, unauthorized insurance surcharge for six months. When I finally caught the charge and called customer service to voice my concerns, things got even worse. Even after escalating the call to a supervisor, Spectrum flat-out refused to issue a full refund for the charges their own agent fraudulently placed on my account. They would only credit back a single month. Essentially, they got caught adding unauthorized fees to my bill and told me I could only have a fraction of my money back. Since Spectrum refuses to take accountability for their deceptive trade practices, I have officially filed formal corporate billing complaints with the FCC and my State Attorney General. If you are signing up for their "free" promotions, check your bill immediately. They will sneak unapproved charges onto your bank draft and then hide behind their "corporate policy" to keep your money when they get caught. Absolute scam behavior.

Chuck came out and explained in detail how the two antennas on the mast were not oriented correctly, and how there were some dead spots or weaker signals in our area. He tested both antennas, determined which one was better to receive the channels we wanted, and expertly realigned the best antenna and adjusted the cables. The digital channels on the TV are working great now. Chuck and the team at Al's TV Antenna & Satellite did a.great job for us at a reasonable price.

I had a simple question about my bill. :-( In addition to broken screen the touch functions completely stopped. I could not even turn the phone on. My Verizon rep tried and couldn't restore life either so... I bought a new Galaxy s21 fe. Later that day I googled how to restart a dead phone & fiddled around until my phone came back to life. I rushed back to Verizon and downloaded old phone to new. So much easier set up. I decided to keep old s9 as an audio book player & catalog for my photos but for weeks had to keep saran wrap on the screen because the cracks were so sharp and cut my fingertips. Last weekend I found Gizmo Depot! I am so pleased with the quick replacement of the screen at a reasonable price. I did not get the name (unfortunately) of the great rep I worked with. She was friendly, offered what options I had and I am very happy with the job that was done. She also spoke about various phonecases I might consider to protect it since my house is all tile over concrete floor. It just took a few minutes to choose & install the perfect one. My experience with this business was excellent, more than I could have hoped for. I will suggest this location to any of my friends that ask about techie services like this one!
