Terrible customer service. Manager has a bad attitude. Came in to pick up a new iPhone with my nephew that the previous store didn't have, it was already paid for. Two employees, 1 patron being helped. That left one employee that was doing nothing that could have helped us. My husband said something about it that he was just picking up a phone and it was already paid for, she said you can't talk to me like that in my store. Needed to reset our account pin #. Verizon Customer service said go to the corporate Verizon store in Lady Lake with a photo ID and they can do it. . . Saw Hudson at the store he said he could not do it and gave us a customer service number to call. Got home call the number and they said it has to be done in person with a photo ID. . . .call the customer service number again and a different person confirmed that is what has to be done. . . .also the second customer service person confirmed the the Lady Lake store is noted for not being very helpful. I have attempted to order a new phone for store pickup TEN times and every single time, this store has cancelled the order. No phone calls, no reason why, nothing. Because of this, my bill got messed up and I had to spend hours on the phone with Verizon trying to get this resolved, only to be told the only thing they could do was try again and that if they made the order for me, it would not get cancelled. Unfortunately, that was untrue. I even tried ordering a different phone and different colors. I'm not picky and would have been happy with any one of 3 phones in any color but they didn't bother to contact me to find that out. In the past I have made appointments and sat in the store for hours trying to upgrade and that is not practical for me to do this time, for several reasons. This store will be the reason why Verizon loses a customer. Normally, I would attempt to resolve the issue with the store directly but they have made it impossible. My mom went to this store to get a new phone. She had an $830 credit on the account against her old phone, so figured she could just go in and upgrade to the new iPhone which costs $830. They told her she couldn't upgrade, but that they could help her get a new phone. Ended up adding a line, telling her to keep her old phone, and increasing the data plans for everyone on the family plan for no reason. They even sold her a trial of Apple One individual. We already have Apple One family. Spent more than an hour on the phone with Verizon getting it straightened out. Not sure what they're trying to pull at this store, but it clearly helped inflate their numbers last month. Removed my mom as account manager so she won't be visiting this store again, or being talked into making unnecessary and costly changes. read more

Just left this store AFTED WAITING AN HOUR because they didn't even have the product I was looking for in stock. I got "accidentally dropped" from the queue line and when I brought this to the extremely incompetent manager, Donna, attention I was the problem not her or her employees even though one had been walking around the store with the same family since we walked in!! The other manager, Mike, jumped in being just as rude. My son went to the Apple Store at Mall of Millenia and was in and out in 45 MINUTES!!! I understand it's Black Friday but what just happened should not have happened. My balance hasn't been paid because I don't have a working phone but the employee told me I had to pay it BEFORE he would help me but I when I said "I'm not paying the balance unless I know I'm getting a phone that works" THAT'S when he said they didn't have the product I was looking for in stock. So why was he wasting my time!?! Seriously if you know you don't have what I'm looking for why make us wait an hour!?! I'm disabled and don't have a landline so me not having a phone can mean the difference between life and death, that's not an exaggeration, but there was absolutely no care or concern for a client of about 20 YEARS!!! I had an appointment @ 12:30. My instructions stated to check-in when arrived via the app. However, from the parking lot of the store there was zero cell coverage to check into the app. So I walked up. I stood in line and heard the gentle man tell people it was an 45-hour wait. While other people were leaving and saying take me off the list I'll come back. When It was my turn he said how can I help you today? I said my name is David Scott I have an appointment at 12:30 I was unable to access the app to check-in. He said what are you here for? I said I upgraded my phone and during the transfer-He cut me off right there. Did not let me finish, and preceded to tell me that was not what they did. They would not be able to help me. And that I needed to call someone preferable Apple. I said you didn't let me finish. He said I don't have to let you finish. We don't assist in transferring data. I said wtf? And he said don't swear at me. I said look I have an appointment maybe I should speak to a manager. He said I AM THE MANAGER. I said well I have other questions and issues. He said FINE IT WILL BE AN HOUR WAIT. I said I have an appointment at 12:30. He Said he didn't care. So I picked up my mobile and called Tennessee and they asked for his name I only had his badge was Bruce-When he realized I was on the phone to Corporate he yelled at me that Joe would assist me now. So I told Tennessee I would call them back with his name. While Joe was assisting me Bruce Berry (i now have his name) continued to harass me. And when I asked for his business card he tried to write his info on my personal property and when I objected he tried to eject me from the store. Joe was very helpful and answered my questions. Bruce Berry would be better utilized digging ditches. He and employees like him will be easily and anxiously replaced by Sophia Robots in the near future. Also after I left and was in The Parking Lot I kept getting text that someone with in the Verizen Store was trying to gain access to my phone. read more

Verison phone service. Had Verison for quite some time, have called submitted paper work for military discount for several months with no military discount being applied. Always the same answer, it could take a billing cycle or two. Well to bad for you Verison, enough is enough. Never again. Military personnel stay away from this provider. read more

I should have paid attention to the negative reviews on this store. I am sure they are all accurate. I was treated rudely, with complete disrespect and made to wait about an hour. My appointment was 4 to 4:30, and I finally got an employee to help me at about 5pm. He was as rude and confrontational as the store manager, and gave me completely incorrect information that would have cost me at least $500. I left the store and spent 10 minutes on hold with Verizon. They saved me the $500, which the store assured me was wrong, apologized for the way I was treated, and took my order. I have been dealing with Verizon stores for more than a decade, and have never experienced this level of bad treatment, and inaccurate information. In fact I can't think of any interaction with store employees that would even come close to to what I suffered today. Plus watching four employees chatting while customers were waiting was hard to believe, yet that's what happened. Another Verizon location would have to be better than this one, there's nowhere to go but up. This was so bad I keep looking for those guys with the TV show that do off the wall stuff. i wish I would have read the reviews before dealing with this store. I was told we could bring our phones for trade in to this store since it was a corporate store since our labels to return were sent to incorrect address. The manager (Mike) said that the 1-800 # didn't know what they were talking about and we couldnt do it there. He was very snarky and rude saying he wouldn't help if we continued to give him a hard time....who does he think he is. This is supposed to be a service company. I called him an a$$hole of the way he was treating me and again he said he didn't have to wait on me if I continued to cuss at him. Oh boy, I was being gentle!! All there adds are for NEW customers...new lines only....if you have Verizon you don't qualify... They are all the same..... 1 Star is too much. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE, and definitely do not let Lisa sell you a phone. I walked in to buy a 256 GB new iphone, we had a conversation about the lease price for a 64 gb versus a 256 gb, but regardless of the $33 (for 64) versus $39 (for 256), I spoke with her and the business guy (because i inquired about a biz account) and told them I work from my computer and phone and so I was specific about needing the 256gb. She even said before checking me out "okay so 5gb plan with the 64 gb phone." and i said "oh no I need the 256." So she went to the back (and as I came to find out, STILL did not get me the right phone). Once I realized her mistake 15 hours later, (the very next day at opening when I realized my phone wasnt right) to get the right phone, I was in for a treat. I was clear I did not want to pay the restocking fee because Lisa gave me the wrong phone. But because she couldnt be a woman and own up to her mistake, the manager said she was the one he would believe because "if his employees make a mistake they own up to it" as if being HUMAN wasnt a thing. Some people dont like to be wrong. Some people DONT always own up to their mistakes. And maybe she didnt remember our conversation from 15 hours ago, but unlikely. Lisa is the absolute worst. Came out and told me I WAS WRONG about what I had requested and there was just no go. Im taking further actions against this store. the managers James and Bruce didnt want to do the right thing, they looked at me like I had 6 heads. If you value customer service** and honesty**, DO NOT visit this store. UPDATE: corporate verizon is also disgusted that this happened to me, i DID receive about 2 months worth of bill credits over this scandalous*** scene, a free phone case, a charging kit, and so many apologies from people who matter I lost count. I have and will keep following up to make sure action is taken against Lisa, Bruce and James who should not have jobs here, let alone customer service. The funniest part is they recently started replying to bad reviews on their google page from a couple years ago, and totally ignored my review on google and Facebook, but said something here. Not sure if that's a comment here from the actual store people in lady lake or corporate Verizon, but if that reply is from the store themselves I do not accept anything and will not rest until they call me and admit their fault and apologize. Good job guys! maybe try putting the customer first, the company who owns all of you certainly does. Don't mess with people, stop treating them like second class to your less than superior selves because one day someone like me comes along and will not stop until people like you are in shreds. I mean seriously, look at these others reviews! Traumatic and abusive behavior on their part. Verizon as a corporate who handled this have been excellent. Advice to anyone who visited here and was abused; call Verizon have them turn this store around with different employees and if you must visit a store go to the one in oxford or the villages. I bought a Mophie for $99 + tax from this store. The paint on the Mophie started peeling off on all parts of the phone only 6 weeks after I bought it. I brought it to this store and told them my problem. The 23 year old manager said it was from abuse and there was no recourse. He basically showed me the door. He was also cocky and rude. I am a mature adult and do not abuse my possessions or lie about it of I do. He refused to listen to reason. It was obvious that the paint on the Mophie was defective. I cannot understand why someone so young with so little life experience would be a store manager. He clearly knew nothing about customer service. I was ready to purchase a phone and went to this store. After ordering my phone, which was supposed to be 1/2 off, I was first told the phone never made it there. They had to put in the order again (I was told the manager of the other store does this all the time). I went in on a Saturday to pick up my phone and set up the order. I was passed off by my rep that first helped me to a new employee that had no clue. He had my credit check, which showed that I needed to provide a $400 deposit, which I was ready to do. Since he didn't know how it worked, he went to ask the lady working (who was a higher position than the store manager), and she said I couldn't even set up an account, although I saw clearly on the paperwork that I could pay a deposit. If I wanted to become a new Verizon customer, I was to pay for this phone outright ($800). $800 for a phone????? No way. They told me I could purchase a prepaid phone, which was an old iphone7, and that would be $75, but there was no warranty on it. I'm paying for a product with no warranty? Do I look like I have "stupid" written on my forehead? When I balked at that, he and the top dog lady huddled in the back, and he came back and said they'd give me a 2 week warranty on it. If it quits, I'm out. Needless to say, I was ready to pay the deposit to become a brand new Verizon customer, and they showed me right there they don't care.
