Tried Comcast's texting system at home to troubleshoot issues with my cable box. Took about 15 minutes to figure out that we needed a new box (which we had already had assumed, but you have to go to through the steps). We were told to go to a nearby store and get a replacement box at no cost. We arrived at the store around 12:30p on a Sunday and we were first in line. Annabelle assisted us and answered all of our questions. She was honest and transparent about costs and different options. We got everything resolved in less than 10 minutes. I have heard many horror stories about Big Cable service and was expecting the worst when I took on the project of setting up Internet for my grandson who we were visiting after his move to Spokane. I was absolutely blown away by the outstanding customer experience at the Xfinity store on Division Street. I signed up for service and got an excellent price from a Comcast vendor. That was done online. Rather than wait for my Self Install Kit to come by mail, I decided to visit the store. Got a warm greeting from the concierge lady just inside the door who found out what I was there for and logged me into their automated cue. She said it would be about 10 minutes and that was about right. When I got called up to one of the 7 customer service stations, the rep was knowledgeable and very accommodating. I had our new cable modem with me (good selection at Walmart) and he registered the device on our account - do this, it saves a ton of time. I wanted to help grandson by paying his first few months. No problem, they took care of it right there. He sent me off with a sack of all the cables I would need. Wonderful experience. Back at the apartment we setup the computer and cable modem. Moved to spokane and tranfered my xfinity account about 6 months ago. I have called weekly at first for the first few months that my internet not working..then it got crazy. Yew last few months it would work for one hour a day. Your second tier would say it was my fault for 75 bucks u would fix it. They were rude and never fixed it. Finally I said ok a technician can come. He fixed it. It was your wire that was installed improper. Hmm the technician was great and no charge. I got a lousy 60 buck credit. Really. Poor customer care etiquette. I am returning the Xfinity equipment in its original box. As I walk through the door a Xfinity employee standing behind a desk about 15 feet away shouts "How can I help you". That would require an explanation as to why I am there. Not wanting to shout my business affairs across the busy store I wait until I walk up to the tall desk where the Xfinity employee is showing obvious signs of being perturbed that I hadn't responded prior to reaching his desk. I explain I am here to return my equipment & he takes the box and tosses it on a pile of 2 other boxes setting a few feet away with out even taking a step. I asked if the was any receipt or proof of return, & with a impatient and angry tone he tells me "we just scan them in" & I don't need any proof of returning my equipment. Comcast will charge you 100.00$ if you move and can't continue there service because they don't have service where you move. How is that the customers fault when it's the providers fault for not being able to accommodate their customer. The next thing g I would like to complain about is that they send you to collections as soon as they can. Even if you are a loyal customer for 10 years and have never been late on a payment. This is a true sign of disrespect to a customer. I would not recommend them to anyone. And now going with a different company I see that their internet service was horrible. I had constant buffering in my old house and my apartment. I now have frontier and i have had zero buffering problems. Travis at this store gave us horrendous service. I will never return to this store again. As soon as I walked in Travis was very rude, had an unapproachable vibe, did not greet me and was a very aggressive sales person. He ran my husbands credit as soon as he got there without offering promotions. Nonetheless, he lied about an offer he had already pitched and resulted in a price raise of what we were initially quoted. He did not care for what I or my husband had to say and gave the absolute worse customer service I've ever received. The manager there "Travis" as well, did not take the situation in a manner I wished for. He let the sales man talk over my husband and I and did not apologize for the situation. I never seem to have a good experience here. I don't like how they try to usher you to use machines to pay rather than a personal experience. If you do ask to do pay with a person (because you have questions as well) you can be the only person on the queue and it still takes them 20 minutes to call you up. One time I was told someone would be right with me and I waited for like s half hour and someone finally came up only to tell me the people who take payments are on break and wouldn't be back for at least 30 minutes. When I asked the person at the front desk why she told me someone would be right with me when they were at lunch sage said, "I don't know. They don't tell me anything". Lack of communication is a serious issue with Comcast at this location and I had hoped it would be better than a terrible phone experience I always have, too. read more

Oh well they share the same company so here is my review. Absolute worst company I have ever tried to work with. Called and signed up for service. They could not get my order right. could not schedule install. When I took time off work to have cable installed they said I needed to have my home rewired by a electrician. Check did that, next took more time off to get it installed and they no showed. When I called they said that I had called and cancelled Installation. Why would I call and cancel and then take time off to come home and sit around the house wondering if cable was going to be installed today. I would rather pay twice as much for any other provider then ever deal with this incompetent company. I went into this store 2 days ago to return my router which was a terrible router, it kept cutting out 4 months I thought it was my Fire tablet came to find out that that router that Comcast had it as rent was horrible. When I went in to the store to ask for a credit number one the customer service rep was gun shy seemed like he did not really care what I had to say told me that he has to call the same service that we do, and I was extremely disappointed. He told me that if they could find customer service reps in the city in America that didn't mind getting yelled at then they wouldn't have to Outsource. Wow, let me tell you something I worked for customer service for merchants and I was yelled at a lot by merchants, yet I kept my cool I talked to them I made sure that all their questions were answered when they were done yelling then I spoke to them. There are people that are desperate for jobs that need them in Spokane and Comcast Xfinity is outsourcing that is sad to me. The customer service rep was not only gun-shy he kept cutting me off, I finally told him will you let me finish what I have to say, he was not willing to help me change the rights for my dad's cable he's 85 and he's paying $117 to be paying $117 and now it's up to $147, he said the promotion was only available for internet phone and cable that I had to call the loyalty department. To even get help for my dad's cable. Why can't they have people in Spokane at the store help the customers that bother to drive up there and try and get help why do we have to call Xfinity and wait through that horrible line to get a customer service rep to help us ugh!!! read more

Went in to cable store here to upgrade my wireless gateway the customer service rep said they didn't have it that they could send a technician out at NO CHARGE , to do it. Next thing I know they are charging me 82.00 for a service call. THE CABLE STORE IN SPOKANE IS HORRIBLE. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT. THE REP SEEMED DISINTERESTED IN HELPING AND MORE INTERESTED IN GETTING ME OUT OF THE STORE. I called Comcast and they took care of it on the phone. Today I was in a hurry and was nervous about going into the Xfinity store because of my phone call previously with customer service. Chris Lytle was the one that helped me, he was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. He helped me return my boxes and transfer my service to my new place with no problems. This place is a joke! Don't come here if you have any interest in lowering your bill with any of their reps. Immediately ask to speak to the store manager. Typically they will give you what you want. I spoke with a young man named Joe and had some very simple questions about my bill and various charges. He was very short with me and easily frustrated. Definitely not a place of business where he should be working. Not sure if he was just computer illiterate on how to figure out the codes he kept referring to or if he was just stoned and being lazy (his eyes were glazed over and he had the stench of marijuana on him). The manager Glenn was sent out to speak to me after Joe had disappeared and I was able to get credits put on to my account. Such a hassle - but this is the name of the game. Unfortunately the people at this outlet are either liars or they are incompetent. I turned my cable modem into them and was assured that they would no longer charge me rental fees. The next bill I received weeks later had said rental fees on it. Either the customer service representatives told me falsehoods or the company is just trying to force me to pay them extra. Horrible company, I know because I worked here. I am featured in an old review with a positive score. The managers they had during my time of employment were scum who consistently broke rules, allowed certain sales people to offer discounts that were not supposed to be used so they hit their sales numbers and threw certain people under the bus when they made more money in commission than they did sitting in the back room browsing Facebook and Craigslist. I was a Target that was a top 5% salesperson in my region, had returning clientel, I was quick and kept my cool under pressure. They did not like this, set me up with a bad secret shopper and let me go. A month later both the manager and assistant were investigated and fired for sales manipulation and dishonesty! You will never see the same team here as the turnover rate is insanely high. The tier system of services is horrible and stuck in the 90s. Do yourselves a favor and get 1gb/s internet priced for life with CenturyLink for $65/mo and Philo streaming TV for $20/mo with over 70 channels. Thank me later. read more

We simply wanted to downgrade our account and after speaking with 3 different phone reps we decided to go directly to the Xfinity store. We were extremely frustrated until we dealt with Chris Lytle. Customer service at the Division store was horrible. Channels have been deactivated when I should of had them for a year. Cannot seem to get billing straight and have had to go into store several times. I now have spent about 20 hours of my time to get things straightened out. They tried to give me a free movie coupon for my trouble REALLY!! What type of customer service is this, give your employees empowerment to fix problems. I think they owe me more than a coupon. Was with Centurylink and am really thinking of returning and getting rid of Xfinity. I would definitely not recommend this Company to anyone. read more
