One associate walked away HALFWAY through a question I had. Really? Kyle got me on my way and he is a 5 Star young man and employee. The store is beautiful , but very high-end customer centric. Once selected we scheduled the install. They arrived on time and did a superb job. Do not buy anything from these crooks. They sold me a defective Beats headphone and will not give me a refund. They have the audacity to accuse me of returning a different headphone and the serial number did not match. They told me the serial number on the right band is scratched off. It's all lies. The serial number is actually on the left side by the audio outlet. They don't even know where the serial number is located. I had been shopping for a new TV and surround system for a few months. I researched so many different brands and types. Read countless reviews on the brands and models I narrowed it down to. Finally I decided 100% on the surround sound and was down to the LG OLED or the Sony OLED. I could write a long horrible story about customer service at both Bestbuy's and a couple other stores, but that would be a disservice to this Huppins review. Instead I will tell you that I had a wonderful experience from the minute my wife and I walked in Huppins. Greeted immediately and pointed in the direction of the two tvs we were looking for. After a few minutes the same gentleman that greeted us arrived and asked if we had questions. My wife asked about the difference in the two tvs. I was impressed with his descriptive answer and afterwards we felt the Sony would suit is best. At this point I know I'm buying from this man. I tell him all the components we want by Sonos to build our system and point out the TV. I give him the max amount we want to spend and he says not only do they price match, but they match the lowest prices on the internet and off he goes. After 15 minutes or so he comes back and is almost $600 under the number i gave him. Remember, I had done my research. I know this system was priced over $6000 and I was out the door under $4500. The only reason I know about this place is because I was scrolling down my Amazon order history from 2013 to reorder an item I had ordered previously and I came across an order of - Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras, NIKON - supposedly purchased from OneCall. Let me just say, I have never ordered a lens from Amazon let alone from these guys and first I thought it's a mistake, but then I checked my bank statements and there it was! They charged me for it and mind you, I never even received this lens! I immediately called Amazon about this because it's an unauthorized purchase and Amazon didn't have any shipping information, so I contacted the seller as well as my bank. This is the sketchiest thing that has ever happened to me on Amazon. My card called them and the customer service rep said he doesn't have any information of confirmation of receipt and that he just had a tracking number, which I already have from Amazon which is not enough information. How do I even know this was ever shipped? This is ridiculous. Please be careful from this seller on Amazon. read more

Our family has a made a couple of purchases from Huppins over the past six or seven years. We've always found the employees to be courteous and helpful and have no complaints about quality of merchandise. I'm writing this review today to point out an incident of what we found to be exceptional customer service. On November 12 we went into Huppins because my husband was having trouble with a set of headphones we'd purchased there a couple of years ago. He had been using them with his iPad and just found that the volume wasn't adequate. He took both the IPad and headphones with him, and was looking at other headsets to make comparisons. Two store associates, Nathan and Andrew, were very helpful. Ultimately, they were able to determine that there was a volume limit in the settings on the iPad that prevented him from getting max available volume. He was very happy when we left. We didn't need to buy anything new and walked away problem solved. We'll certainly shop at Huppins again. read more

I'm very disappointed in customer service response from HUPPINS. When a company stresses "buy local", the first response when you have a problem with a product you purchase from them shouldn't be "contact the manufacturer ". We purchased a Cuisinart slow cooker and less than six month of use the defective nonstick coating started coming off. The response from HUPPINS is to call the manufacturer. read more

I walked into this store today looking for a new tv. I was greeted by 3 guys standing at the front desk and one of the sales rep asked me how he could help me. I told him I was looking for a new tv and he asked me in a smart ass tone some technical questions as if I was one of his co workers. I responded with I got know F(*&^^ing idea what you just asked me, I am just looking for a new tv. He stood up from his chair and turned to one of the other sales rep and said can one of you guys help this guy I am done. New sales rep help me look at a couple of TV's but I was so pissed from the prior sales rep I just had know interest in purchasing from this place. I have heard from people in Spokane that a lot of the sales reps in Huppin's think they are above the people buying from them and they lose a lot of sales to Best Buy, Cotsco and Video Only because of service. I am not sure who the first rep I spoke to was but I believe he was bald and had a pretty good size birth mark on his face/head. Huppins is the best for DSLR camera needs in Spokane. I purchase all of my equipment there because of their knowledgeable staff and great customer service even though I now live across the state (I used to live in Spokane). When I was about to spend $800 on a 10-22 Canon lens, I was beginning to have some second thoughts on if it was the right lens for me to be buying. The employee who assisted me was more than helpful. He spent over 30 minutes discussing the lens with me, along with other lenses, and even put one on the same camera body I have to show me what it is capable of. I walked out of the store with the lens and not one regret. I have also purchased my tripod here, which was so sturdy that it held my camera in a 60mph gust wind storm (probably not my brightest idea, but still). They carry quality products for a reasonable price. They will price match too, which is awesome. I've also purchased some Yurbuds headphones from here too, which were not only priced $20 below the MSRP at the time of purchase, but have been the best headphones I have ever used for running. Need KitchenAid accessories? Huppins has a great assortment; enough to keep me busy for days! Great selection! Used car pawn shop sales mentality let me explain. Bought a new tv from Huppins. I was waiting specifically for them to get this tv, so the day it arrived I was there. I had heard great things about this particular set and after the purchase I told the salesperson I would either post a comment about the tv on their website and/or call the Salesperson back. I did post an online review, a very good one, as the tv is a really, really good one. The Salesperson said he would be interested to know what I thought about the sound quality which I had heard was good for such a thin tv. About a week after that I sent an e-mail to the agent informing him of how happy I was with this purchase. Never got a follow through reply, and I have noticed since, they took down my flawless review of the tv. Needs better customer service. I will go elsewhere from here on out. Mike B. was a big help with getting my new TV and when I had a problem with it they handled my exchange without any hassle. We recently visited Huppins Audio in Spokane, to research and listen to high end audio equipment. We met with salesperson Bret Suter, and he took us into the audio demonstration booth to listen to subwoofers and Marantz AV Receivers. He was very knowledgeable in regards to different models, explained how to pair subwoofers to receivers and how to calibrate the equipment to each other. After listening to several different models of receivers and subwoofers, we finally committed to purchasing a Marantz SR-7012 AV receiver and SVS SB-3000 subwoofer. He helped us with accessories such as HDMI cords, RCI cables, and speaker banana jacks. He was very professional, and addressed all of our questions and concerns. We were greeted at the door by Garrett, who took the time to not only show us what they had, but he answered every question we asked. Nice new store and great product selection. Knowledgeable staff member helped me select a ~$3000 surround sound system. Prices were reasonable compared to online retailers. All was well until... they didn't have the pieces I paid for in stock. Staff said they would order the next day (Thursday) for a delivery by the next week Wednesday. When the supposed delivery date came and went without a call I contacted the sales rep and was given some excuse about a shipping delay. "No problem, we expect it in by Friday" I was told. After Friday came and went I again contacted the sales rep and was again given an excuse. I was given 2 more delivery dates that came and went without as much as a call from the staff to explain. Fed up, I finally went into the store 18 days after the order, still not complete, and canceled the whole thing! This required the assistance of a floor manager who didn't even bother to inquire if there was a problem or anything he could do to help. I'll definitely be using Huppin's again for their knowledgeable staff and to demo the gear they have in their showroom, but I'll take my dollars elsewhere. read more

I have purchased thousands of dollars of electronics from Huppins over the years and feel this is the last best privately owned store on the planet. The sales people have always been friendly, and knowledgable. I have never had a bad experience there and, unlike the big box stores, have never been sold defective merchandise or the wrong device for my application. They have an amazing selection of high quality products - they have always had what I need and don't try to up sell or make you feel stupid if you don't know much about the technology. Purchased an expensive $700 "NEW" lens from Huppin's unfortunately it was clear upon receiving the item that it was in fact a used product. After reading the reviews here on yelp and their store front reviews on a well known online shipping website it seems to be a trend that some customers are also receiving used products that are being sold as "new". Its also appears that in the cases where USED products are being sold as "new" the negative reviews are being passed off onto the shipping company so that Huppins can maintain their 100% positive seller feedback. Though they don't mind taking credit for fast effective shipping or positive manufacturing reviews, which is very deceitful. Late, lost or damaged shipments I can see, but I highly doubt the shipping company also doubles as photographers who like to take a few shots before they ship out the seller's products. I have no issue with purchasing used or refurbished camera equipment however I do have an issue with being under the impression that its new and paying full price for it. I find the Huppin's reputation for being a highly reputable company misleading. read more
