During the height of the pandemic, you had to make an appointment if you had to visit the store. The store is large enough for proper social distancing & anyone coming in was required to mask up, along with all the employees wearing masks. They also had hand-sanitizer available for anyone who didn't have it. Unlike me, who brings it wherever I go. Everyone was pretty attentive, & wait times weren't that bad. I don't know if it's different now that mask mandates are lifted, however, the few times I had to visit, I felt safe. But, if you're still unsure, wear your mask. It can only help. read more

Xfinity mobile has got to be the worst mobile service I've ever had and ever made! Like literally it's trash like I'm so pissed off with the mobile services that I'm about 90% sure that today I'll be canceling all their services and I have Xfinity TV, Xfinity Home, Xfinity internet (the highest package) and home phone. I'd rather pay for direct tv and have it cut out on me a million times before I ever recommend this trash to anyone I know. If there was a zero stars that's what they get. If you want to purchase or upgrade they shine. Need help with a problem -don't waste your time. I've had a recurring problem for over 2 months. Have been on the phone 5 days out of 7 every week. When I try to sign in on website it says hi Joseph. I requested 3 times in the past year to remove that name as IT'S NOT ME. Nope. Still happens. The customer service is HORRIBLE if you are a senior and not techy they have no tolerance. Last week 2, I won't mention names here, although mgr WILL get them, male reps were rude and arrogant, kept turning his screen for me to see what HE wanted and I said look at my bill. There's a charge for DVR svc that I don't have. Look I can only go by what's on my screen and I can't talk to you anymore. He walked to get another rep (the one that mths ago said he removed Joseph from my acct " and give a 10 rating when you get the survey" ) He quickly stated "we can't help you here. Call the billing department. So Xfinity Comcast, just how many of your clients are seniors that might need a bit of patience and kindness?? This is the only Xfinity store in the area so it is busy every time I go in rain or shine. It is spacious however with benches to wait as you will inevitably do here. It is open and airy which allows you to see what is going on but also let's you see employees chit chatting and wondering around aimlessly while you wait for their help. The employees are usually polite when you are called for your turn. There are kiosks for simple operations like paying a bill etc so use them while you wait. Parking is out front and easy. Xfinity, the office, is conveniently located on Hooper in TR. It is an ok Xfinity. If they opened an additional location to handle some of the customer service of this population dense area this location would be better read more

Yelp really needs to have a zero star options. Comcast in general sucks. I only have my internet with them because of that. Every few months my bill unexpectedly goes up. Then I call and get the run around... it's a huge hassle I don't have the time for. If another internet provider was readily available, believe me, I'd switch. But there's not. So I'm stuck dealing with this garbage. And then we come to why I'm leaving this review. So my modem took a dump, again.. third modem in about a year. Go to xfinity, wait about 30mins to get my new modem. Go home to install and guess what? Doesn't work out of the box. Who's in the back doing quality control; a couple of trained monkeys? I understand parts can be defective. It was CLEARLY a refurbished unit so that means it was tested previously. Unacceptable. Hey xfinity, maybe if you spent more time on your garbage equipment, you wouldn't be the most hated service provider on the face of the earth. The store has in fact been improved a lot. Gone are the security windows, and it feels a lot friendlier. Several of the employees are really nice and try there. So, that's why 2 stars instead of 1. But I just could not get my service working despite being a relatively tech savvy person. Despite multiple tech calls, despite numerous modem exchanges at the store, and despite a tech guy coming to my home, I still got no internet and no cable TV. The tech guy showed up on time. But he did not take ownership of getting my service working. He got impatient that I needed to call my building super to let him into the basement. That's not unreasonable. He said he would come back and to call him on his cell. That was a lie. No one ever came back. At least the store made it easy to return the box. I'll try FIOS now instead. read more

Today I went to this store to see about changing my mobile phone carrier and possibly buying a new phone. This store is fairly new and it is nice and uncluttered. They have a few displays of phones and accessories but more people go there to get home tv and internet services. You walk through the door and you are greeted by a friendly staff member who directs you to the next available salesperson. They have some cushioned benches to use if you have to wait. So xfinity mobile phone service is fairly new. They use Verizon towers so if you like Verizon you will feel the same about zfinity. The price the salesman quoted me was less than half what I was paying with Verizon. I was saving so much money I could afford one of the higher priced iPhones. The salesman never tried to get me to buy more than I wanted and he was very knowledgeable about the different phones and models. I did just go there today so if my opinion changes I will post an update read more

Returned 3 cable boxes that I have used for years. Of course at the checkin desk they have no record of 2 of the boxes although I have been charged for them monthly. I had to wait 20 minutes while I watched employees doing nothing and others on the phone with their customer service line trying to resolve issues. Xfinity has no regards for its customers as it controls the market and has little competition. I should not pay over $250 per month, $3000 year for poor service. read more

The store had to order the phone I wanted, it arrived at my house on black Friday. The wait at the store wasn't long before I saw a technician to port over my phone number from Straight Talk. He said he said everything was done in about 45 minutes. I didn't try it, I was going to wait till I got home and had time to explore the features. Well the phone number didn't port over, only six of my contacts did and none of my App's. I went back to the store on Saturday and was helped by Greg Nelson. He was the utmost professional he knew what he was doing and was extremely helpful. We had problems with my pin # at Straight Talk and the phone number porting took overnight. He called me at home to see if everything was working to my satisfaction. Greg was able to port over all my contact information and App's. If it wasn't for Greg's dedication to make a customer happy this could have been a very bad review. I would give my experience a two part review. Black Friday is a 1 rating and Greg Nelson's performance a 5 rating. I hope this was helpful. read more

I had Dish for 9 years and loved it! Then a salesman came out asking why we left Comcast. We told him why. So he said we could get more for the same price. So we switched!! Sounds good right?? BIG BIG mistake for the 1st couple of months, I was on the phone every time the bill came in. It was more money than what we agreed on & also what my contract said. I got the run around at every call! Now we're dealing with the picture freezing, the service going down & it is literally every day!!!! So you can imagine how many times I heard that I was the one that had us switch!!! It's a Sunday and again I'm calling Comcast!! The rep. had to send a signal to the box (again) to clear it!! I told the rep. I want to speak to management because I want a credit for all the B. S.!!! So we're waiting & waiting but no one replied to his request. But shocker!! 12/13/17 Did have Assistant Manager call today to apologize for rude behavior from staff. That was a plus for this office! Very much appreciated for customer service! 12/10/17: Terrible service. Clerks definitely do not want to be there and reflect it they way they handle customers. They seemed so put out that I did not know their procedure to return a device. The Comcast people do not wear name tags, so I do not know who was on the floor. The guy at the front desk took my equipment and handed me a torn piece of paper and told be to wait. "For what", I asked, and was told for the service person. I told him I didn't want a replacement, I just wanted to return the unit, and he told me again to wait until I heard my name called and hand the service person the piece of paper. When the service person, Sheryl, called my name, I don't think she liked the torn piece of paper. She said she couldn't get any info off of it, and then asked the information needed, and when not typing fast enough, she asked for some information, again, I offered her my account # on a piece of paper I had from the returned device, and she snapped, "No, just your name and phone #" (again). She asked me to sign a piece of paper. Then I stood there for a few awkward seconds and that seemed to upset her. Evidently our "session" was through, and I didn't know. "I said have a nice day"; and I'm like, "Huh"? I didn't hear her, and she went on and on, "I did say have a nice day". OMG. I had no idea our business was done.
