Kevin is unlike any trainer I have ever had. He is creative, energetic, inspiring, and always able to motivate me even when I don't seem to be in the mood to be motivated! He never does the same workout twice, and unlike other trainers who get lost in their phone, or are thinking of other things, he is always fully engaged, trying his best to help ME be MY best. Kevin has a unique way about him that also always makes me want to work harder and do more....it is not that he gets down on me, but he just has a way of making me feel really good about myself, and helps me work in a manner where I truly can see my own progress. My daughter had put a lot of weight on during her first year of college. That summer, she began working out with Kevin and not only did he help her transform her body, he helped her WANT to work out by herself, and adopt healthy habits. Body insecurity an issue I for one have, as well as others may or may not have at different levels…read more I found Maria via an extensive search, on a suggestion from a family member. Maria and I spoke verbally, as well as communicated by way of facetime a few months back. As in a preparation for the holiday festivities of eating which we all know started in November;) She has been easily accessible and she has a high level of athleticism, which I have not. I was at first apprehensive due to the fact of my no workout regime. Together we worked well balancing a routine and fitness plan. Maria offers a variety of options, mentally, physically and nutritional coaching. She somehow will determine that oh so needed motivation taking me into short workouts and then gradually into full-body workouts. All planned workouts are effective! Thus far have been achieved with great success and satisfaction. The best for me is the timing, Maria provides a doable and flexible schedule. Yes, no way I could evade not exercising;) She made some suggestions as how I may turn my home into a mini home workout studio. She did evaluate me, but no true analysis can be evaluated unless I was a hundred percent truthful with her. Indeed I was, because what is the point of making this commitment and it not being effective for my well being. In the last 14 months I've encountered some challenging surgeries, which I could no longer do any sort of a situp. I disclosed this to Maria and she has me performing, with her monitoring and coaching by way of video other way I may concentrate on my core. As Maria stated to me upon our first conversation, there are no shortcuts and its a two way effort. She is correct and so far she has successfully assisted in obtaining my goals and created new goals for my well being.

This initial event - a first time intention to have as many people as possible doing yoga together…read moreoutside for a charity benefit -opened a wonderful a Seattle morning. Yoga-for-Hope gathered funds to help with cancer treatment and research. I got to volunteer. 4 very well-known yoga teachers in Seattle- 1 - my all time favorite for his technical knowledge and interesting whimsical humor - Kirk Slobody and Lisa Black with husband and another. led us in over 90 minutes of yoga. There were about 10 assisting adjusters. The weather was perfect. The happiness was contagious. Lululemon sponsored this with Yoga for Hope staff.. and the vibrancy and dedication of Lululemon staff was heartening and joyful to be around. Next year I bet they more than double the event size. We were treated by a fun visit by the Cliff Bar/Luna Bar staff with samples and propel water.. the orange mango is divine. Gift bags given to each participant (20.00 donation) held certificates for free yoga trial classes and a lovely smelling sample from Aveda and more.. I promise to keep you informed of the next one.
