After hearing my friend go on and on about how great pilates is and how much she loves the instructors at Pilates of Palm Beach, I finally decided to check them out. I've been going two times a week for two months now and I'm totally in love. I went to this studio as someone who had never even attempted pilates and now I can't shut up about it. In just two months I am doing things that I never thought I'd be able to do. I have more energy. I'm more confident. I'm gaining muscle and toning up. It's awesome! All of the instructors are extremely nice and supportive. I can't say enough great things about this place. If you've ever thought of doing pilates, definitely check them out. I booked my hot Pilates class through ClassPass. This was my very first class, everyone was accommodating. Be prepared for the heat though. The temperature in class was set to 101 degrees, with a few heaters on as well. Mats, towels and equipment needed for instructor led class was provided as well, free of charge. The facility was clean and had a zen vibe to it. The instructor moved around a little bit during the class and provided short breaks as well for sips of water or towel off. Modifications were also provided if the workout got too difficult, especially for a newbie like me. At the end of class the instructor provided a cool towel for face and neck and antibacterial wipes to wipe equipment used. Overall this was a good class with moderate difficulty level and i plan to return. Be ready to get your sweat on!

I have been a member of LA Fitness for a few years and I have worked out at pretty much all of the PBC locations, and others such as two in Jacksonville and the one in Melbourne. I am a big fan, i LIVE LA Fitness. But this location? The worst possible. Very poorly managed and money-pinched and it shows. Equipment: the whole place needs an overhaul. Equipmemt is frayed and tired looking. The lat pull machine - one of two - has been out of service for months. The water fountains leak and break. The scale in the men's locker does not give the same reading twice if you pray to the gods of scales, the one in the lobby is equally out of calibration and rickety. They do not have mid-point dumb bells, unlike the other locations; in other words their dumb bells weight go up in 5-pound increments instead of 2.5-pound increments, so I drive to the Delray Beach gym on arms and shoulders day. The bars for the press benches look from the 1980s they are dark and without marks to help position hands in a balanced way. Every gym struggles a bit with member behavior racking the weights back where they belong, but here the bad behavior is rampant and ridiculous. There are only two signs about putting weights back. I do not know what management does at other locations, but I do not have to waste time roaming around trying to find the right handle for the cable pulls, or find the matching dumb bell as much as I do here. Staff.... What staff? Could be that adding staff might help with the equipment disarray, I don't know I don't manage gyms but as member I know what looks right and this place is all wrong. If it weren't so convenient to get to from my house i would never go here.
