Place has shade on a hot day for kids to play and enough seating arrangements for 4 families. Small but my kids had fun. So I loved it.

They seem to rotate them out ever 30 minutes to an hour but you should always keep a close eye on young children. Better yet enroll them in one of the many safety/swim courses. This is perfect for little kids but not so much for older kids. There is a lifeguard there at all times, only watching this splashpad, which is very cool. Still must be very watchful as a parent. I wish there was more shade for seated, watching parents, but so be it. There is a shady picnic grassy area adjacent to the splash pad that can easily be used to host a birthday party. The picnic tables are not close enough to the splashpad to be able to watch your kids from here. This whole area is fenced in and only accessible by coming through the front of the Aquatic Center's check in gate. Then only those who purchase additional tickets can enter this area to use the splash pad. My friend brought coolers and had a nice party here. We first noticed the splash pad during swimming lessons here. Since it is inside of the Aquatic Center, it is not very visible from the road. Please note that only bathing suits are allowed; no normal shorts are allowed. They will enforce this! Plenty of parking in the parking lot.

I'm…read moreextremely disappointed that they have a really cool splash pad for the kids but only open a few times a week with horrible hours. You'd think a big splash pad in the middle of PBG would be open Monday - Sunday with decent hours. It really doesn't make sense. Please change your hours so me and I'm sure a lot of other families can come and enjoy the aquatic center!!!!

I signed up for adult private swim lessons, paying $225 for what was supposed to be personalized instruction to improve my stroke and breathing. What I got was one unstructured session in the kiddie pool--just swimming back and forth with no technique correction, no feedback, nothing. It felt like the instructor had no idea what to do. When I brought this up, I was told the training manager would attend a future lesson to train the instructor during my session. That's not acceptable. I didn't sign up to pay for someone else's training session--I signed up for my lesson. Even worse, I found out the training manager had already been watching the original lesson and allowed it to happen that way. So how is anything going to improve? I asked to cancel and get a refund, and was told flat-out "no" due to policy--no apology, no ownership, no attempt to make things right. Also worth noting: the reception staff was rude and unwelcoming when I arrived, which set a bad tone from the start. I can't recommend this place for adult swim lessons. Between the lack of professionalism, poor instruction, and dismissive customer service, I left completely disappointed.

I came with my two kids (3 and 6), my parents, my brother and his family (1 and 6) and my high school friends and their kids (9 and 12) and EVERYONE had a blast! The key was to get there early so you could enjoy all the attractions without the lines that form as the day goes on. We found loungers right away, grabbed tubes and hit the lazy river, and after a few relaxing laps, we headed for the splash pad. My 3 year old didn't leave there for the rest of the day. He was completely enthralled with all of the splash features, water slides, and fun that surrounded him. The water was just deep enough that he could float around on his stomach but not deep enough to ever be too worried. The older kids and myself hit the big slides, which were a blast. For a small waterpark, these were solid. The design kept you on your toes and they picked up enough speed to give you a little rush. They have an onsite cafe but they also allow you to bring in your own cooler, which is amazing! We packed a picnic and had a great lunch as a group. The one pro-tip I have is to book a FUNBRELLA! We thought about it too late, but these shaded pavilions are perfect for groups and reasonably priced so you don't even need a special occasion to get one. Sure I remembered it being much bigger, but Paradise Cove delivered!

We went on a week day and it was not crowded, which was nice. The only downside, is that a lot of the slides are enclosed so they are dark. It took a minute for my daughter to get used to. The water slides were so much fun, and overall the first day was honestly perfect for my family. The second day, though, was a little stressful because the park was extremely crowded. There were so many people that there was barely any space to sit, and some families were even sitting on the floor. My mom finally found an open area and asked an employee if a few chairs could be moved over so we could sit together. At first, the employee kept saying they couldn't do it, even though it seemed like a simple fix, and it became frustrating after going back and forth for a while. Eventually, the manager Jeff came over and said, "Lady, can you be nice? I'm just trying to resolve the issue so everyone can have a good day." My mom was annoyed at the situation, but in the end we did get the four chairs and everything worked out. Even with the stressful moment, we still enjoyed a lot of parts of the park because the rides, food, and overall atmosphere were really fun. Also, one thing I wanted to mention is that they check your bags every single day, even if they already know you've been there before. It became kind of annoying because they would go through everything in the bags, take items out, and leave everything messy and unorganized afterward. Other than that, we still had a pretty good experience overall.
