We do our sessions every 2 weeks. Some pain are gone, others might need multiple sessions. We will still come back because it helps. Eastern medicine can be incredibly effective when done properly, but this experience felt rushed, impersonal, and money-driven. Now the service: First if all, I am completely convinced Park's Acupuncture prolonged my gallbladder for another year and a half. I originally went in for severe upper back pain (a common symptom for needing your gallbladder removed). Like so bad I couldn't sleep at night and wanted to throw up. They noted that it could be gut health and/or due to my jaw clenching (which yes, I do). They did a combo of cupping therapy and acupuncture. They were wonderful about starting me off at 2 times a week, then informing me I could go down to 1, to suggesting every other week, to flat out letting me know that I could simply call them if I started getting pain again. She immediately saw my back was inflamed from overuse of the muscles (which was true) and did acupuncture and cupping (my first time)to reduce it. She stayed open 90 min past her closing time for me and bonus - she bills med insurance directly and can confirm what your insurance will pay for the appt.
