But where they stand out is that they are compassionate, knowledgeable and really jump right into addressing your concerns. When I wrecked my back, for God knows what reason other than being old and stuff happens now, I had no clue what to do. My dr prescribed the typical pain relaxers and physical therapy which didn't work. I really didn't know what to do next. So I did the normal thing try everything else out to see if works. Luckily, I started first with Accupuncture and scheduled an appointment with Rebecca. She figured out what was going on and could relate to what I was going through. At this point I just wanted to be able to sleep and maybe walk again. The first session went quickly and on my drive home was thinking that's not bad and wow I can kind of walk a bit normal again. Got home, got some good sleep and next day felt great. I am now back for more appointments finding this to be way more effective than phys therapy and prescription drugs. Now the service: First if all, I am completely convinced Park's Acupuncture prolonged my gallbladder for another year and a half. I originally went in for severe upper back pain (a common symptom for needing your gallbladder removed). Like so bad I couldn't sleep at night and wanted to throw up. They noted that it could be gut health and/or due to my jaw clenching (which yes, I do). They did a combo of cupping therapy and acupuncture. They were wonderful about starting me off at 2 times a week, then informing me I could go down to 1, to suggesting every other week, to flat out letting me know that I could simply call them if I started getting pain again. So I went for about 2 months before feeling completely better! I know people are put off by their initial interactions, but seriously, it was so worth it!

Kathleen is a miracle worker!  I came to her with severe chronic pain in my right neck, shoulder,…read moreand arm.  As an IT worker, I am at my desk 8 to 10 hours per day on my computer and repetitive use caused "mouse shoulder" and made my dominant arm barely usable.  I was also tossing and turning at night trying to prop up pillows and do whatever else I could think of so that I could sleep.  I heard about Kathleen from my OB/GYN so I thought I would give it a try.  After the first appointment, I was nearly completely out of pain.  After the second appointment, I felt I had just witnessed a miracle.  I wasn't in any pain anymore at all!  Kathleen really knows her anatomy and just exactly what causes pain in the first place.  She also truly cares deeply about her patients and is the kindest, most loving person I have ever met.  She is phenomenal at therapeutic massage and a magnificent healer!  I see her regularly and she always manages to repair whatever damage I do from my job or anything else.  I wouldn't have been able to keep working for much longer in the condition I was in before I went to Kathleen.  She has kept me employed!   I recently did some work on a walkway for my house and it caused slipping rib syndrome.  She fixed that too on the first appointment after I got injured!  I even heard my rib "pop" when she moved it back into place.  It was kind of a creepy sound, but the pain immediately went away - quite a small price to pay for instant healing!  I can't recommend Kathleen enough (as you can probably tell).  She is a tremendous healer!

Before I even arrived we had worked out my insurance coverage and there were no surprises! From the minute I walked in I was kindly greeted by Dr Xu; she was so personable and we had a great conversation while I waited...like talking to a friend! When I was examined by Dr Zhu, he quickly assessed and we got started. He explained what he observed and treatment option. With his magic touch, I did not even feel the needles go in, the electro stimulation felt like a Massage on the inside and my pain was immediately 75% reduced. By the next day, I was enabled to use my right leg more regularly and am on the mend. Dr Xu and Dr Zhu are very friendly and capable acupuncturists and I am happy to find my last new Chinese medicine team! Thank you for relieving my pain!

He helped me so much and brought my pain level down so I could tolerate it. I was diagnosed with stomach cancer in Nov. 2023 and had my stomach removed in March. I was having pain from the surgery and chemo and Dr.zhu pretty much worked miracles on me! I didn't have me period for months because of the chemo so I asked him to work on that and guess what??? My period came back two days after! I also had awful, debilitating back pain that was keeping me from walking at the end of the day and he worked on that area and two days later, pain is gone!!! However, I was very disappointed with my experience here, especially as someone who also works in pain relief and values Eastern medicine. * $155 for about 5 minutes with the doctor * No real shoulder exam, muscle testing, orthopedic tests, or nerve assessment * Pressed on a few tight spots I showed him in my shoulder and immediately decided on cupping + acupuncture without identifying the actual issue * 15 minutes of cupping, 20 minutes of acupuncture, and I left feeling exactly the same This felt less like individualized care and more like a "same treatment for everyone" approach. Eastern medicine can be incredibly effective when done properly, but this experience felt rushed, impersonal, and money-driven. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this level of care was unacceptable. I'm sorry to say this is an insult to eastern medicine. I've had eastern medicine and they never treated me without even identifying my problem.

My first consultation was good so I refer my wife and now 2 of us attends the acupuncture session. She recently moved to a new office and I think it's bigger than previous one. We do our sessions every 2 weeks. Some pain are gone, others might need multiple sessions. We will still come back because it helps. Acupuncture is not a miracle cure but it's good to have an alternative from regular doctor consultation. Try them in case you are curious. Everybody will have different results, for us it's ok.
