We boarded at approximately 8:50 AM, rode around, got off, and experienced some cool sights like the old fort, the Old City Jail, St. George Street, and the Torture Museum. Every time we go to a city with one of these trolley tours, we always take them. It's a historical trip guided by knowledgeable, polite, and friendly drivers. You get to hear from local experts about the history of the city as you drive around, saving yourself the long, hot walks. The hop-on hop-off feature is very convenient, and a trolley comes around every 15 minutes. This gives you time to get off, look around, and have only a short wait to jump on another one. Tickets cost approximately $33 per person and are highly recommended.

The trams pass by every 15 minutes, so little time is spent waiting. There is a lot of history in this little town so it is well worth the visit. Our tram guide was very knowledgeable but I was somewhat overwhelmed by her presentation because it was absolutely non-stop. I was wishing she wouldd take a breath now and then. Be aware that there are two persons per seat. You cannot commandeer a whole seat for backpacks etc.

We visited multiple local spots to try delicious wines with charcuterie and cheesecake pairings! It was delicious as well as exciting to see hidden gems in the city. We loved meeting the owners of local shops, experiencing great wines/snacks and seeing cool art & shops. We will definitely book another tour on our next trip to St. Augustine!

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations, especially considering that each person paid $75. One of our biggest concerns was that we were given a fixed menu that was not disclosed to us at the time of booking. We expected more variety and flexibility with the food and wine selections. We also visited only two locations, which felt limited for a wine tasting tour. Our final stop was a wine shop where more than 15 people were expected to share one charcuterie board and one bottle of wine. For the number of people in attendance, the food and wine provided seemed insufficient. Another disappointment was the lack of historical information about St. Augustine. Since this was the first visit to St. Augustine for several people in our group, we were really looking forward to learning about the city's history and seeing the experience through the eyes of someone familiar with the area. Unfortunately, little to no history or background about St. Augustine was shared during the tour. There was also very little interaction with the chauffeur throughout the experience. Jenna was pleasant and courteous, but she did not interact much with our group or provide the level of engagement we expected from a tour guide/chauffeur. The tour itself was approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, which also felt short considering the $75-per-person price and what we expected the experience to include. Overall, the tour felt underwhelming in terms of value, variety, interaction, food, and the overall experience. I would recommend that Serendipity be much more transparent about the menu, itinerary at the time of booking and consider providing more food and wine, additional stops, historical information, in addition to adding fans to the electric vehicles to keep guests cool in the Florida heat. Unfortunately, based on our group's experience, we would not book this tour again.
